I am a college student working through school and looking for a position that applies to my degree.

My name is Courtney Gebben. I believe I would fit this job position for several reasons: I have experience teaching at several grade levels, a strong work ethic proven through advancement in every job I have held thus far, and a strong drive to succeed.

My experience includes four years of group and one-on-one instruction in a camp setting working with ages 8 through 16, coaching middle school sports for three years, one-on-one preschool tutoring this summer, and one year of teaching a church class. In all of these positions I have created lesson plans myself and been the principle teacher without assistants.

Part-time jobs I have acquired to work my way through school have all resulted in advancement including my current position as a server at Olive Garden offering me a position as Certified Trainer. This position means I have shown leadership skills and ability to work as a role model to co-workers. Managers use me to demonstrate correct techniques of serving and interpersonal relations with guests and co-workers alike.

Currently, I am a student at UofL in the College of Education. I have completed three years of school and have two years left to finish my degree as an undergraduate. I am a transfer student working my way through college by myself which requires me to only take a few classes at a time for financial reasons. Therefore, any tuition reimbursement positions could offer would help speed my graduation up.

I am a quick learner and would love a position that would allow me to grow in the field I plan to dedicate my life to. I would love supply a resume, or to meet in person to answer any questions and to more thoroughly discuss my background, experience, and skills.

Sincerely,
Courtney Gebben

e-mail: clgebb01@louisville.edu
