Thug Thizzle to Election Day
ACORN/Obama voter registration.

Systemic corruption of our election process continues. Barack Obama and his old friends at ACORN and Project Vote are leading the way. This radical revolution is taking place in your backyard. And as I’ve reported before, this voter-fraud racket is on your dime.

On Monday, the two liberal groups announced the wrap-up of a 21-state voter registration drive targeting low-income people and minorities in battleground states including Ohio, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Florida, New Mexico, and Wisconsin.

What’s wrong with that? For starters, these two groups are militant partisan outfits purporting to engage in nonpartisan civic activity. And their campaign comes amid an avalanche of fresh voter-fraud allegations involving ACORN in many of those same key states.

On Tuesday, Nevada state officials raided ACORN’s Las Vegas office after election authorities accused the group of submitting multiple voter registrations with fake and duplicate names.

ACORN, which receives 40 percent of its revenues from American taxpayers to pursue an aggressive welfare-state agenda, has already helped register over 1.27 million people nationwide. The rest of their funding comes from left-wing heavyweights like billionaire George Soros and the Democracy Alliance.

Project Vote, a 501(c)(3) organization, was founded by left-wing lawyer Sandy Newman to register voters in welfare offices and unemployment lines with the explicit goal of turning back the Reagan revolution.

The two groups are inextricably linked — and at their nexus is Barack Obama.

In 1992, Newman hired Obama to lead Project Vote efforts in Illinois. The Illinois drive’s motto: “It’s a Power Thing.”

As previously noted in this column, Obama also trained ACORN members in Chicago. In turn, ACORN volunteers worked on his Illinois campaigns and ACORN’s PAC endorsed his primary bid with full backing and muscle.

Despite his adamant denials of any association with the group (his Fight the Smears website now claims “Barack Obama never organized with ACORN”), Obama’s political DNA is encoded with the ACORN agenda.

The Obama campaign’s “Vote for Change” registration drive, running parallel to ACORN/Project Vote, is an all-out scramble to scrape up every last unregistered voter sympathetic to Obama’s big-government vision. “Our volume,” Obama campaign manager David Plouffe bragged of the voter-registration program, “will be enormous.”

Quantity over quality. It’s the ACORN way.

In addition to the Las Vegas raid, fraud allegations keep piling up:

Lake County, Ind., election officials this month rejected a large portion of the 5,000 registration forms ACORN turned in after conducting registration drives in the area all summer. Some vote canvassers had pulled names and addresses from telephone books and forged signatures. According to local reports, “large numbers of voter registration forms bore signatures all in the same apparent handwriting style” and “apparently the organization’s canvassers broke rules to meet ACORN-set voter registration quotas to get paid.” The fake registrants included dead people and underage kids.

On a conference call yesterday, GOP officials noted that up to 11,000 voter applications were no good — tying up election officials and jeopardizing the voting rights of untold victims whose identities may have been stolen.

Last month, Milwaukee, Wis., officials discovered at least seven felons employed as voter registration workers for ACORN and another affiliated group. They also uncovered a raft of problematic voter registration cards. The state GOP accused ACORN of attempting to enroll dead, imprisoned or imaginary people to voter rolls. Fraud has plagued ACORN’s Milwaukee chapter since the last election cycle.

In Florida, in Orange County alone, ACORN workers turned in multiple copycat forms for six separate voters over the summer. According to the Miami Herald, “One individual had 21 duplicate applications.”

Election officials had flagged ACORN’s negligent practices several months ago, but it may be too late: In Orange, Broward and Miami-Dade counties, ACORN has signed up 135,000 new voters, nearly 60 percent of them registered as Democrats that constitute a fifth of all new voters in that region.

In Ohio, large numbers of homeless people received free van and bus rides to register. Shelby Holliday, a reporter for Palestra.net, filmed ACORN shuttling prospects to the polls. She told me she spoke with one homeless woman who told her ACORN “told her who to vote for if she wanted a ‘better life,’ and told her not to worry about jury duty (one of the reasons this homeless woman didn’t want to register) because the government probably wouldn’t be able to track her down. She was registering with a temporary address.”

Holliday interviewed another homeless man targeted by the registration drive who exulted that he was voting for Obama because “I want him to do his thang. You know, do his thug thizzle.”

“Thug thizzle” is street slang for performing your trademark move. Obama and ACORN have practiced their thug thizzle together for years: organizing an ever-expanding community of ineligible and marginal voters to expand the Democratic power base. Rules be damned.

If you are a patriotic, middle class American who spends most of your time working for your family and enjoying your FREEDOM, you have probably not been bothered by the sounds of an ACORN dropping before now.

But, while you were sleeping peacefully at night, the roots of Socialism have broadened its reach, without determent right into the foundation of the White House.[2]

Allow me to enlighten you to the ways of a radical community action group that could impact your way of life forever.

ACORN is an acronym that stands for Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. Its mere definition contains hints of Socialism as it claims to be a group advocating for low- and moderate-income families that addresses housing, schools, neighborhood safety, health care, job conditions, and other social issues.[3]

Beneath that surface lie violence, intimidation, threats, race baiting and direct physical attacks on property, people and the legal establishment.

Without going into the myriad details, many ACORN policy proposals are widely considered to be in line with the far left wing of the Democratic Party.[4]

If you are asking yourself what could possibly be so ‘bad’ with a group that in theory advocates for low income families, then you’ve just given yourself the reason this group has been allowed to thrive in America with little scrutiny and under the radar of main street observation until now.[5]

In truth, ACORN is the most virulent, organized crime group in this decade…and it is funded by YOU.

Put simply, ACORN is ripping off the taxpayer through Congressional hand outs.[6] In fact, ACORN was recently due to receive nearly $700 million of the $700 billion dollar bailout bill until Republicans in the Senate redlined it.[7]

Allow that to sink in for a moment: $700 million from the US for an organized crime group.

Yes, ACORN has been receiving Obama campaign funding, but what’s worse is that ACORN leaders are actively extorting money from banks, mortgage brokers and Congress. To add insult to injury, ACORN is costing Americans millions to investigate all of its criminal activities across America.

And then there’s the end of the democratic process through valid elections.[8] Yes, ACORN is behind much of the rampant voter fraud.[9] ACORN has been involved with fraudulent voter registrations for years.[10] In fact, Missouri has 8 ACORN guilty pleas on record (for 2006 violations of federal voting laws) just this year. Many other states are investigating many hundreds of cases of voter fraud in their jurisdiction.[11] We have compelling evidence that ACORN has been involved in fraudulent voter registration since early in the 2007 launch of the Obama campaign.

But we don’t stop at faulty funding and voter fraud. Obama’s community organizational skills are synonymous with totalitarian tactics as its leaders use violence, intimidation, threats, racial baiting and direct physical attacks on property, persons and the legal establishment.[12] When you shed the shell, there is just no good to the group known as ACORN. It is corrupt and without any upside.

With a group like ACORN running rampant in government and shaking hands in Washington, why not legitimize the Bloods and The Crypts? They too are street gangs but they just happen to push drugs instead of bogus registrations drives and sub-prime mortgage deals.

Uncle Sam should be putting ACORN at the top of its list as internal terrorist groups, yet the red, white and blue sense of justice seems to be crumbling. Many numbed citizens just roll their eyes at groups like ACORN simply because America has unfortunately become deadened to the idea that politicians have ulterior motives, nameless agenda’s and behave unscrupulously at times.

However, the rest of this American story is without filtering or fear.
The disturbing reason more ACORN activities go un-prosecuted is because the FEC as well as the FBI have refused to open investigations out of fear of rocking the Obama campaign.[13]

The MOST disturbing fact you need to know about ACORN is that its organizers have terrorized the Federal justice and law enforcement system into NON-action.

How can one group get away with so much? Because ACORN has many Democratic backers in Congress who work tirelessly for its perpetuation and the head ACORN nut is Senator Obama.[14] In fact, Senator Obama is so entwined in ACORN it has become a career and campaign double helix in his DNA.

If you’re asking yourself what Obama has to do with ACORN, consider this:
Obama has served ACORN as its attorney, has been its direct action trainer, its mentor, its contractor, and its PRIMARY illegal campaign funder. ACORN is part of the ‘Community Organizing’ experience his evil empire would like to bring into the White House.[15]

American men and American women should be recognizing that mother freedom is on the brink of extinction with one single NUT trampling all over liberty.

Who will be left sleeping peacefully at night as the ACORN marks the beginning of Socialism in America brought to you courtesy of Barack Obama?[16] With ACORN intact or worse, empowered in the White House, American Democracy will be a legend long gone. Socialism and criminality will be the | I am making a webpage to see how well internet voting would work
It would be easier if everyone could just vote online I think
Help me test this to see if it could be done
It will be voting anytime in Oct. by registration to get to the site

http://www.ardventuresdesign.com/election/poll.html

Direct to the voting site
http://www.ardventuresdesign.com/Presidential/election08.html

Thanks | JUST SAY NO TO MR. Thanks | I received an email tonight at work that mentioned an alternative solution to the current $700 billion bailout of the financial firms that Congress is currently debating. Basically, the email suggested taking $700 billion and giving an equal share to each person in the U.S. over the age of 18. After taxes the amount would be over $250,000.

Although I like this plan, I could see a problem with it. Many people would take their money and leave the workforce, which could cripple the nation's productivity. In addition, that kind of financial windfall would reduce the motivation for many people to better themselves through education and training, which may allow the U.S. to fall behind other nations in the areas of math, science, technology, which would not be good for the long-term security of the U.S. I propose that each adult citizen that is registered to vote and is not a convicted felon, be given a $150,000 credit. This credit could be used to pay off houses, school loans, credit card debt, or anything the consumer wishes to buy. As a result, many consumers and families would likely pay off their homes, apartment dwellers would purchase homes, which would revitalize the housing market by increasing the values of homes, parents could set up college funds for their children, remove all their credit card debt, or just consume or save, whatever the consumer wants. We're all going to be paying for the bailout anyway, why not get something out of it?

The current crisis has come about because financial firms took risks on sub-prime mortgages. Yes, these companies are losing money now and they leave the economy teetering on the brink of collapse. But were the leaders of these companies complaining when they were making millions by offering sub-prime mortgages and adjustable rate mortgages to people who now cannot afford to make their payments? No, they knew the risks, accepted them, profited from them, and now are paying the cost. Oh wait, we're the ones paying the cost. I don't want to see my hard earned tax dollars spent on a bailout of a bunch of rich, risk-taking, irresponsible CEO's. They don't deserve the responsibility or the privilege of spending our money after they squandered theirs. Nor do I like the idea of the government owing and operating these financial firms that we will bail out. I think that after Hurricane Katrina we all saw the the government is not equipped to manage a crisis. Sell off the parts of these financial firms, at a discount, to firms that have managed themselves responsibly through the crises, firms who sat back and did the right thing while the firms currently in trouble profited from taking advantage of homeowners. Businesses fail every day. The difference is, you and I don't pay for their failure.

Finally, I believe the $150,000 credit is a good idea because it is just enough to ease many americans financial burdens, but not so much that it will cause a flood of retirees and workers leaving the workforce. Without so much home, auto, school loan, and credit card debt, we could actually all afford to pay higher taxes, which would increase the services the government could provide. Imagine a country with free health care, increased grant money to cancer researchers, free tuition to all public universities, increased teacher salaries, infrastructure repairs to bridges, roads, and airports. These are just a few possible effects of giving the money back to the people who will actually be paying for these bailouts. I'm not a socialist, but I doubt that many people would object to paying higher taxes in return for services like these. This would allow motivated people to prosper and grow, which is exactly what this country needs.

The sad thing is, because most all politicians have their wealth tied up in the stock market, and they want to see the financial services sector, and thus Wall Street, succeed, there is little chance of an idea like this ever coming to fruition. I can only hope that there is a lone voice that is loud enough to call for a vote. Allow the citizens of this country to have a voice in how their tax dollars are spent. I can only hope.

I welcome any comments, suggestions, and criticisms of my idea. I just hope that someone hears it and is moved to action. I wish I were the one to lead in this area, but I'm not. I just wish us luck, because we're all going to need it.
This is Your Nation on White Privilege, 9/25/08

For those who still can't grasp the concept of white privilege, or who are looking for some easy-to-understand examples of it, perhaps this list will help.

White privilege is when you can get pregnant at seventeen like Bristol Palin and everyone is quick to insist that your life and that of your family is a personal matter, and that no one has a right to judge you or your parents, because "every family has challenges," even as black and Latino families with similar "challenges" are regularly typified as irresponsible, pathological and arbiters of social decay.

White privilege is when you can call yourself a "fu*kin' redneck," like Bristol Palin's boyfriend does, and talk about how if anyone messes with you, you'll "kick their f*ckin' ass," and talk about how you like to "shoot shit" for fun, and still be viewed as a responsible, all-American boy (and a great son-in-law to be) rather than a thug.

White privilege is when you can attend four different colleges in six years like Sarah Palin did (one of which you basically failed out of, then returned to after making up some coursework at a community college), and no one questions your intelligence or commitment to achievement, whereas a person of color who did this would be viewed as unfit for college, and probably someone who only got in in the first place because of affirmative action.

White privilege is when you can claim that being mayor of a town smaller than most medium-sized colleges, and then Governor of a state with about the same number of people as the lower fifth of the island of Manhattan, makes you ready to potentially be president, and people don't all piss on themselves with laughter, while being a black U.S. Senator, two-term state Senator, and constitutional law scholar, means you're "untested."

White privilege is being able to say that you support the words "under God" in the pledge of allegiance because "if it was good enough for the founding fathers, it's good enough for me," and not be immediately disqualified from holding office--since, after all, the pledge was written in the late 1800s and the "under God" part wasn't added until the 1950s--while believing that reading accused criminals and terrorists their rights (because, ya know, the Constitution, which you used to teach at a prestigious law school requires it), is a dangerous and silly idea only supported by mushy liberals.

White privilege is being able to be a gun enthusiast and not make people immediately scared of you.
White privilege is being able to have a husband who was a member of an extremist political party that wants your state to secede from the Union, and whose motto is "Alaska first," and no one questions your patriotism or that of your family, while if you're black and your spouse merely fails to come to a 9/11 memorial so she can be home with her kids on the first day of school, people immediately think she's being disrespectful.

White privilege is being able to make fun of community organizers and the work they do--like, among other things, fight for the right of women to vote, or for civil rights, or the 8-hour workday, or an end to child labor--and people think you're being pithy and tough, but if you merely question the experience of a small town mayor and 18-month governor with no foreign policy expertise beyond a class she took in college and the fact that she lives close to Russia, you're somehow being mean, or even sexist.
White privilege is being able to convince white women who don't even agree with you on any substantive issue to vote for you and your running mate anyway, because suddenly your presence on the ticket has inspired confidence in these same white women, and made them give your party a "second look."

White privilege is being able to fire people who didn't support your political campaigns and not be accused of abusing your power or being a typical politician who engages in favoritism, while being black and merely knowing some folks from the old-line political machines in Chicago means you must be corrupt.

White privilege is when you can take nearly twenty-four hours to get to a hospital after beginning to leak amniotic fluid, and still be viewed as a great mom whose commitment to her children is unquestionable, and whose "next door neighbor" qualities make her ready to be VP, while if you're a black candidate for president and you let your children be interviewed for a few seconds on TV, you're irresponsibly exploiting them.

White privilege is being able to give a 36 minute speech in which you talk about lipstick and make fun of your opponent, while laying out no substantive policy positions on any issue at all, and still manage to be considered a legitimate candidate, while a black person who gives an hour speech the week before, in which he lays out specific policy proposals on several issues, is still criticized for being too vague about what he would do if elected.

White privilege is being able to attend churches over the years whose pastors say that people who voted for John Kerry or merely criticize George W. Bush are going to hell, and that the U.S. is an explicitly Christian nation and the job of Christians is to bring Christian theological principles into government, and who bring in speakers who say the conflict in the Middle East is God's punishment on Jews for rejecting Jesus, and everyone can still think you're just a good church-going Christian, but if you're black and friends with a black pastor who has noted (as have Colin Powell and the U.S. Department of Defense) that terrorist attacks are often the result of U.S. foreign policy and who talks about the history of racism and its effect on black people, you're an extremist who probably hates America.

White privilege is not knowing what the Bush Doctrine is when asked by a reporter, and then people get angry at the reporter for asking you such a "trick question," while being black and merely refusing to give one-word answers to the queries of Bill O'Reilly means you're dodging the question, or trying to seem overly intellectual and nuanced.

White privilege is being able to go to a prestigious prep school, then to Yale and then Harvard Business school, and yet, still be seen as just an average guy (George W. Bush) while being black, going to a prestigious prep school, then Occidental College, then Columbia, and then to Harvard Law, makes you "uppity," and a snob who probably looks down on regular folks.

White privilege is being able to graduate near the bottom of your college class (McCain), or graduate with a C average from Yale (W.) and that's OK, and you're cut out to be president, but if you're black and you graduate near the top of your class from Harvard Law, you can't be trusted to make good decisions in office.

White privilege is being able to dump your first wife after she's disfigured in a car crash so you can take up with a multi-millionaire beauty queen (who you go on to call the c-word in public) and still be thought of as a man of strong family values, while if you're black and married for nearly twenty years to the same woman, your family is viewed as un-American and your gestures of affection for each other are called "terrorist fist bumps."

White privilege is being able to sing a song about bombing Iran and still be viewed as a sober and rational statesman, with the maturity to be president, while being black and suggesting that the U.S. should speak with other nations, even when we have disagreements with them, makes you "dangerously naive and immature."

White privilege is being able to claim your experience as a POW has anything at all to do with your fitness for president, while being black and experiencing racism and an absent father is apparently among the "lesser adversities" faced by other politicians, as Sarah Palin explained in her convention speech.

And finally, white privilege is the only thing that could possibly allow someone to become president when he has voted with George W. Bush 90 percent of the time, even as unemployment is skyrocketing, people are losing their homes, inflation is rising, and the U.S. is increasingly isolated from world opinion, just because white voters aren't sure about that whole "change" thing. Ya know, it's just too vague and ill-defined, unlike, say, four more years of the same, which is very concrete and certain.

"If you are a conservative before you are 30, you have no heart. If you are a liberal after you are 30, you have no brain."

In my youth (High School - Early College years) I would say that I was a liberal. Very "No Nukes" pro government, pro social issues, etc...

I started my career, got married, started a family, and found myself changing my point of view. I guess it started with my pay stub. All the money from my work and hard labor that I never see because of taxes that were taken out of my paycheck. The Republican party "HANDS DOWN" is much more aligned with my concerns that we (Americans) are OVER taxed. An Independent organization called Americans for Tax Amensty did a study that proved that "THE AVERAGE AMERICAN WORKS FROM JAN 1 to THE MIDDLE OF JUNE JUST TO PAY TAXES" If we paid all of our taxes up front starting at the beginning of the year - BEFORE WE EVER GET A DIME OF OUR OWN HARD OWN DOLLARS we would work almost 1/2 of the year paying sales tax, gas tax, excise tax, soc sec taxes, fica, local tax, federal tax, state tax, On and On and On.
I believe in paying taxes to have schools that function, streets to drive on, clean rivers, law enforcement, and Social Security, but we are TAXED way too much. I don't care what the Democrats say about the middle class, they will tax us more and more and more - proven FACT! by their voting record. Just look at which party fought against repealing the horrendous "DEATH TAX" and the Marriage penalty (another Tax) It was the liberals and the democrats, not the conservatives.

I will move on to my next reason.
Abortion
I don't believe in it. I'm not judging anyone, and I'm not going to stand outside some clinic picketing or ever HARM someone because they are "pro choice" but I will NEVER vote for anyone that is "Pro Choice"
9 months is not a lifetime. To me if you are too lazy, too inconsiderate, too caught up in the moment to take precautions, then you should be prepared to spend 9 months to deliver the child into the world. If you don't want it, put the child up for adoption so that some couple who desperately want a child to love and raise can do so. IT'S ONLY 9 MONTHS! How terrible would that be?
Not as terrrible as the procedure itself and the guilt that last forever. I don't pretend to know the mind of God, but to me there is NO WAY that I can see our God being "PRO CHOICE"
I will vote PRO LIFE.

GUNS
I like to hunt and own a shotgun, muzzleloader and a 22 rifle - NO HANDGUNS.
I'm not a fan of semi or fully automatics. To me those are for war, but I will not tell someone who loves to shoot them that they can't have one. It's in our constitution. I also believe people are the problems, not guns. Don't want you child to kill his/her classmates, be involved in his/her life.

Corruption
Republicans have their fair share and I personally would automatically kick or vote out ANY corrupt republican, but I don't see that with the democrats. Republicans turn on their own when they have a corrupt member (Foley, Stevens)but to me it seems like the democrats protect their own to the bitter end (Clinton, Rangle)and try to blame Republicans (right wing conspiracy) for their problems.

Personal Reponsibility
I take full responsibility for my own actions. I don't need the government bailing me out or giving me a hand out. Sure it would be nice to get and have help when needed,(Disasters, un-employment) but we don't do that. It seems to me that the demoratic party feels it can do things better for people than they can do for themselves. I personally feel that private industry and individuals can do a much better than our government and elected officials can.
If you read this far, you have too much free time, but I appreciate your listening to some of the reasons why I became a conservative .

The fact still remains that an evil force has been put into place in Jerusalem and has spread throughout Israel, in preparations for the end time and the seat of the anti-Christ. For if we are to believe that the anti-Christ is to have his seat on the Temple Mount, then we must come to grips with some truths not being preached today.
One such truth is the foundation for such a move by the Devil must be already underway even as we speak, Or we simply are not in "end days" of an epoch. This report will prove that such a move is underway and has been for quite some time.
Did you hear about how Barack Obama wants to have sex education in kindergarten, and called Sarah Palin a pig? Did you hear about how Ms. Palin told Congress, "Thanks, but no thanks" when it wanted to buy Alaska a Bridge to Nowhere?

These stories have two things in common: they're all claims recently made by the McCain campaign - and they're all out-and-out lies.

Dishonesty is nothing new in politics. I spent much of 2000 - my first year at The Times - trying to alert readers to the blatant dishonesty of the Bush campaign's claims about taxes, spending and Social Security.

But I can't think of any precedent, at least in America, for the blizzard of lies since the Republican convention. The Bush campaign's lies in 2000 were artful - you needed some grasp of arithmetic to realize that you were being conned. This year, however, the McCain campaign keeps making assertions that anyone with an Internet connection can disprove in a minute, and repeating these assertions over and over again.

Take the case of the Bridge to Nowhere, which supposedly gives Ms. Palin credentials as a reformer. Well, when campaigning for governor, Ms. Palin didn't say "no thanks" - she was all for the bridge, even though it had already become a national scandal, insisting that she would "not allow the spinmeisters to turn this project or any other into something that's so negative."

Oh, and when she finally did decide to cancel the project, she didn't righteously reject a handout from Washington: she accepted the handout, but spent it on something else. You see, long before she decided to cancel the bridge, Congress had told Alaska that it could keep the federal money originally earmarked for that project and use it elsewhere.

So the whole story of Ms. Palin's alleged heroic stand against wasteful spending is fiction.

Or take the story of Mr. Obama's alleged advocacy of kindergarten sex-ed. In reality, he supported legislation calling for "age and developmentally appropriate education"; in the case of young children, that would have meant guidance to help them avoid sexual predators.

And then there's the claim that Mr. Obama's use of the ordinary metaphor "putting lipstick on a pig" was a sexist smear, and on and on.

Why do the McCain people think they can get away with this stuff? Well, they're probably counting on the common practice in the news media of being "balanced" at all costs. You know how it goes: If a politician says that black is white, the news report doesn't say that he's wrong, it reports that "some Democrats say" that he's wrong. Or a grotesque lie from one side is paired with a trivial misstatement from the other, conveying the impression that both sides are equally dirty.

They're probably also counting on the prevalence of horse-race reporting, so that instead of the story being "McCain campaign lies," it becomes "Obama on defensive in face of attacks."

Still, how upset should we be about the McCain campaign's lies? I mean, politics ain't beanbag, and all that.

One answer is that the muck being hurled by the McCain campaign is preventing a debate on real issues - on whether the country really wants, for example, to continue the economic policies of the last eight years.

But there's another answer, which may be even more important: how a politician campaigns tells you a lot about how he or she would govern.

I'm not talking about the theory, often advanced as a defense of horse-race political reporting, that the skills needed to run a winning campaign are the same as those needed to run the country. The contrast between the Bush political team's ruthless effectiveness and the heckuva job done by the Bush administration is living, breathing, bumbling, and, in the case of the emerging Interior Department scandal, coke-snorting and bed-hopping proof to the contrary.

I'm talking, instead, about the relationship between the character of a campaign and that of the administration that follows. Thus, the deceptive and dishonest 2000 Bush-Cheney campaign provided an all-too-revealing preview of things to come. In fact, my early suspicion that we were being misled about the threat from Iraq came from the way the political tactics being used to sell the war resembled the tactics that had earlier been used to sell the Bush tax cuts.

And now the team that hopes to form the next administration is running a campaign that makes Bush-Cheney 2000 look like something out of a civics class. What does that say about how that team would run the country?

What it says, I'd argue, is that the Obama campaign is wrong to suggest that a McCain-Palin administration would just be a continuation of Bush-Cheney. If the way John McCain and Sarah Palin are campaigning is any indication, it would be much, much worse.

Really great stuff!

Since the election is nearing I have to say some long overdue things. I've never cared so much about 1 election in my life. I've always said I wasn't a political person because if that politician wasn't crooked before office he would be shortly thereafter. I never wanted a part of any of it...until now! I've definitely done my homework. I want all of America to have great education opportunities, fair taxes, good health care, etc. So since Obama's skin color is of no relevance to me or most of the educated voters-I thought this would sum it up.

"I wonder which Obama you are for: the one for public financing or the one against it? the one who could not disown Rev.Wright or the one who did? the one who couldn't leave his church or the one who left it? the one opposed to the FISA bill or the one who voted for it? the one who didn't take money from Rezko or the one who did? the one for NAFTA or the one against it? the one for gun control or the one against it? the one for undivided Jerusalem or the one who recanted that the very next day? the one for cracking down on employers who hire illegals are the one who favors it? the one who favors timetables to withdraw from Iraq or the one who doesn't? or the one who believes Iran is a threat or the one who doesn't?"

There are many of us who just have to know that neither he nor his wife are proud of our country-until now. that he doesn't cover his heart during the anthem. that he refuses to wear a flag pin on his lapel(though he did on the cover of Rolling Stone-which is known for it's sattire). that he worshipped for over 20years under the sick mind of Rev. Wright. that in one of his volunteer rooms there is a flag of a sick, mass-murderer. And believe you me, that is more than enough for me as well!! But there really is so much more to Obama than people know. If you think only white people can be racist..then please do us all a favor & keep your vote in your back pocket! Obama claims he never heard Rev. Wright damning the rich & the white..in his 20yrs. of devotion..never..blow that smoke up someone else's ass! I've heard right-winged conservative & propaganda so much I could choke on it just typing it. don't vote for Obama because he's black. that's like me voting for McCain because he's white--stupid! he called his own white grand-mother a 'typical white woman'. imagine if McCain called ANY black person a 'typical black guy'. it would be another Imus repeat! did you also know that Illinois has the highest taxes of any other state? did you know that Obama was the ONLY Senator who did not oppose Induced Labor Abortion? IT'S REPULSIVE! (there is a posted bulletin on it now) all other liberals voted against it-not Obama. these are fully developed babies delivered & left to die! If nothing else this man does sickens you-I would hope this did..unless you were one of the cold-hearted morons involved! So, for all those who are reading this-before you vote-know who you are putting into the highest position possible!! I know many Obama supporters say the news is unreliable. that these are mere accusations. that certain videos have been edited to look like this/that...if you're one of those..please scroll back to the top & start over!! =)

Barrack Hussein Obama promises Hope & Change.. well, I HOPE he isn't elected cause his CHANGE is going to SUCK!!!!

No president can solve my problems, or bring
down gas prices (those are set by market forces) or
create jobs, other than more government jobs. In all
of Obama’s impressive rhetorical skills, there is nothing
about the role of the individual, only the role of
big government. His uncertainty and inconsistency
on issues ranging from war to taxes reveal his inexperience
and youthful stumbling, two qualities that
make him unprepared to be president.

- CAL THOMAS

Last week, Senator Barack Obama made his third
big mistake, the result of a series of on-the-fly policy
pronouncements. Mistake Number One was his
statement that he’d move more aggressively into Pakistan
if, as president, he had “actionable intelligence”
about al Qaeda operating there. The statement itself
was quite hawkish, so the mistake wasn’t on the policy,
it was political: he ticked off his liberal base,
which does not want escalated military action in Pakistan,
or frankly, anywhere else. Mistake Number
Two came when he tried to fix Mistake Number
One: he said he’d take nuclear weapons “off the
table.” This brought him back into the liberal lovenest,
but just about everyone else thought it was
“naďve and irresponsible.”
Then came the Third Big Mistake. He was asked
about U.S. efforts in Afghanistan, and he said this:
“We’ve got to get the job done there. And that
requires us to have enough troops so that we’re not
just air-raiding villages and killing civilians, which is
causing enormous problems there.”
Throwing American troops down the stairs. It
may have been the first time Obama has done it, but
it’s not the first time his party has.

- MONICA CROWLEY

Barack Obama is like a small, shiny object. The easily
fascinated can stare deeply into his blank sheen
and see… their own reflections. He can be anything to
anyone because he is nothing in particular. Yet listening
to the leftstream media, one would have to conclude
that the man is a multifaceted miracle.
He’s a moderate. He’s a third way. He’s demographic
fusion cuisine. He’s a floor wax. He’s a desert
topping. He’s everything you’d hoped for and whatever
you need. That’s the beauty of being unknown.
He’s like that girl way over there at the other end
of the bar — perfect, unknown, perfectly unknown,
and improved mightily by distance and pent-up
desire. Mentally, you’re in love and three weeks into
the relationship before you even make it halfway
over to meet her.
Then you notice her eyes and think, “Man, which
one do I look at when I speak, because they don’t
point in the same direction. And what’s with the
Adam’s apple?” But at that point it’s too late to turn
around, because one of those eyes has seen you
already. I think that’s the way a lot of folks are going
to feel about their Obamaphilia after a few months
of campaigning have removed the gauze filter from
his carefully blurred image.
If any of the fawning were asked to name his
greatest accomplishment, could they name an accomplishment?
Other than being elected to the Senate just
two and a half years ago, and being simultaneously
black and yet likeable to white folks, I mean.
For emphasis, let’s examine a list of Obama’s
major accomplishments (so far):
1. Simultaneously black and yet likeable to white
folks
2. Made the initials “B.O.” cool again
3. Good oral hygiene
That’s it. He’s the Wayne Brady of politics —
everything white folks had been hoping for in at least
one black person, the big payoff for all that tolerance
and diversity babble. That may not be the politically
correct thing to say, but it is an honest assessment of
exactly what pent-up desire is fueling Obamamania
among his white, liberal fan base.

As much as I appreciate the opportunity to speak tonight, I really was originally hoping for the slot on Thursday called the acceptance speech. But I am delighted to speak on behalf of my 2nd choice for the Republican nomination for President, John McCain -- a man with the character and stubborn kind of integrity that I want in a President.

I grew up at a time and in a place where the civil rights movement was fought. I witnessed first hand the shameful evil of racism. I saw how ignorance and prejudice caused people to do the unthinkable to people of color not so many years ago.

So, I say with sincerity that I have great respect for Senator Obama's historic achievement to become his party's nominee -- not because of his color, but with indifference to it. Party or politics aside, we celebrate this milestone because it elevates our country.

But the Presidency is not a symbolic job, and I don't believe his preparation or his plans will lift America up.

Obama was right when he said this election is not about him, it's about YOU.

When gasoline costs $4 a gallon, it makes it tough if you're a single mom to get to your job each day in the used car you drive. You want something to change.

If you're a flight attendant or baggage handler and you're asked to take a pay cut to keep your job, you want something to change.

If you're a young couple losing your house, your credit rating, and your American dream, you want something to change.

John McCain offers specific ideas to respond to this need for change. But there are some things we never want to change -- freedom, security, and the opportunity to prosper.

Barack Obama's excellent adventure to Europe took his campaign for change to hundreds of thousands of people who don't even vote or pay taxes here.

It's not what he took there that concerns me. It's what he brought back. Lots of ideas from Europe he'd like to see imported here.

Centralized governments may care for you from cradle to grave, but they also control you. Most Americans don't want MORE government -- they want a lot less.

Abraham Lincoln reminded us that a government that can do everything FOR us can also take everything FROM us.

I really tire of hearing how the Democrats care about the working guy as if all Republicans grew up with silk stockings and silver spoons. In my little hometown of Hope, Arkansas, the 3 sacred heroes were Jesus, Elvis, and FDR, not necessarily in that order.

My own father held down two jobs, barely affording the little rented house I grew up in. My Dad worked hard, lifted heavy things, and got his hands dirty. The only soap we had at my house was Lava.

Heck, I was in college before I found out it wasn't supposed to hurt to take a shower.

I'm not a Republican because I grew up rich, but because I didn't want to spend the rest of my life poor, waiting for the government to rescue me.

John McCain doesn't want the kind of change that allows the government to reach deeper into your paycheck and pick your doctor, your child's school, or even the kind of car you drive or how much you inflate the tires.

He doesn't want to change the very definition of marriage from what it has always meant throughout recorded human history. It is not above John McCain's pay grade to grasp the simple fact that human life begins at conception, and he is committed to protecting it.

Maybe the most dangerous threat of an Obama presidency is that he would continue to give madmen the benefit of the doubt. If he's wrong just once, we will pay a heavy price.

John McCain will follow the fanatics to their caves in Pakistan or to the gates of hell.

What Obama wants to do is give them a place setting at the table.

John McCain is by far the most prepared, experienced, and tested Presidential candidate. Thoroughly tested.

When John McCain received his country's call to service, he didn't hesitate, and he didn't choose the easy path. He sat alone in the cockpit, taking off from an aircraft carrier to fly in unfriendly skies, knowing he might not make it back.

And one day, he didn't make it back. He was shot down and captured. He was brutally tortured.

He could have eased his own pain and even cut short his imprisonment by uttering a few simple words renouncing his country. But he loved his country and knew that to return with honor later was better than to return without it now.

Most of us can lift our arms high in the air to signify that we want something. His arms can't even lift to shoulder level, a constant reminder that his life is marked not by what he wants to receive, but by what he's already given.

Allow me to tell you about someone who understands this type of sacrifice better than anyone.

On the first day of school in 2005, Martha Cothren, a teacher at Joe T. Robinson High School in Little Rock, was determined that her students would not take their education or their privilege as

Americans for granted. With the principal's permission, she removed all the desks from her classroom. The students entered the empty room and asked, "Mrs. Cothren, where are our desks?" "You get a desk when you tell me how you earn it," she replied.

"Making good grades?" asked one student.

"I guess we have to behave," offered another.

"You WILL behave in my class," Mrs. Cothren retorted, "but that won't get you a desk either."

No one in first period guessed right. Same for second period.

By lunch, the buzz was all over campus... Mrs. Cothren had flipped out ....wouldn't let her students have a desk. Kids had used their cell phones and called their parents.

By early afternoon, all 4 of the local network TV affiliates had camera crews at the school to report on the teacher who wouldn't let her students have a desk unless they could tell her how they earned it. By the final period, no one had guessed correctly.

As the students filed in, Martha Cothren said, "Well, I didn't think you would figure it out, so I'll have to tell you."

Martha opened the door of her classroom. In walked 27 veterans, some wearing uniforms from years gone by, but each one carrying a school desk.

As they carefully and quietly arranged the desks in neat rows, Martha said, "You don't have to earn your desks...these guys already did.

They went halfway around the world, giving up their education and interrupting their careers and families so you could have the freedom you have.

No one charged you for your desk. But it wasn't really free. These guys bought it for you. And I hope you never forget it. "

I wish we all would remember that being American is not just about the freedom we have. It's about those who gave it to us.

Ladies and Gentlemen, John McCain is one of those people who helped buy the freedom that we enjoy and the school desks we had.

It's my honor to do what I can to help him have a desk that he has earned one in the Oval Office. | Amendments

We are witnessing a political phenomenon with Barack Obama of rare magnitude.

His speeches have inspired millions and yet most of his followers have no idea of what he stands for except platitudes of 'Change' or that he says he will be a 'Uniter'.

The power of speech from a charismatic person truly can be a powerful thing. Certainly Billy Graham had charisma. Both his manner of speech and particularly the content changed millions.

On the extreme other hand, the charisma of Adolph Hitler, too, inspired millions and the results were catastrophic.

Barack Obama certainly is no Hitler or a Billy Graham, but for many Americans riding on the Obama Tidal Wave it is just like a surfer who might be ecstatic and euphoric while riding a tidal wave, but the reality of the ride is what happens when it hits shore.

Just Some Facts of What Defines Barack Obama:

He voted for partial birth abortion.
He voted no on notifying parents of minors who get out-of-state abortions.
Supports affirmative action in Colleges and Government (quotas)..
In 2001 he questioned harsh penalties for drug dealing as being too severe.
Says he will deal with street level drug dealing as minimum wage affair.
Admitted his use of marijuana and cocaine in high school and in college.
His religious convictions are very murky.
He is willing to meet with Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, Kim Jung Il and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Has said that one of his first goals after being elected would be to have a conference with all Muslim nations. Why?
Opposed the Patriot Act.
First bill he signed that was ever passed was campaign finance reform.
Voted to allow law suits against gun manufacturers.
Supports universal health-c are.
Voted yes on providing habeas corpus for Guantanamo detainees.
Supports granting driver's licenses to illegal immigrants.
Supports extending welfare to illegal immigrants.
Voted yes on comprehensive immigration reform.
Voted yes on allowing illegal aliens to participate in Social Security.
Wants to make the minimum wage a 'living wage'.
Is a big believer in the separation of church and state.
Opposed to any efforts to Privatize Social Security and instead supports
increasing the amount of tax paid into Soc. Sec. Tax Increase.
He voted No on repealing the Alternative Minimum Tax which now hits middle income brackets. Tax Increase.
He voted No on repealing the 'Death' Tax. Tax Increase.
He wants to raise the Capital Gains Tax. Tax Increase.
Has repeatedly said the surge in Iraq has not succeeded...which is not true.
He is ranked as the most liberal Senator in the Senate today and that takes some doing.

If your political choices are consistent with Barack Obama's and you think that his positions will bring America together or make it a better place, then you will probably enjoy the ride and not forward this Email. If you are like most Americans that after examining what he stands for, are truly not in line with his record, it would be prudent to get off the wave or better yet, never get on, before it comes on shore and undermines the very foundations of this great Country. We have limited time to save America or the Supreme Court as we know it.

Inaction is action.

If you agree this is important, pass it on. The mainstream media will not do it for you. |
