Almost all the midtown places I've looked at have the paint caked on the walls, stained/worn sinks and door-handles, windows that won't open, air window units, pet smell, dated lighting fixtures, very strange floorplans, shared laundry facilities, unkept bathrooms and general unacceptability. Downtown units seem to be either out of my price range or too small for what I need. And please don't contact me with an apartment you're trying to rent and pass off as "midtown" when it's really not. I've been in way too many risky neighborhoods Here's a list of what I'm looking for. Please come c-l-o-s-e.
