This is my story: I am getting married in September, and will then be immigrating to Canada in February (or possibly even January) once spousal visa processing has been completed, and I can also acquire a work visa. So I need a place to stay until then. I live in a house right now, but the situation has changed, and it is a few months before my departure. I work part time. Jobs are hard to come by right now, and I have decided rather than stress myself out about it, I need to just stay put and then prepare for my departure in January. That being said, I do not have a lot of money per month. But I also do not come with a lot of expenses. If utilities could be included, that would help a lot. But if not, I can pay my share too. Really, all I am looking for is a place to lay my head. I am not picky, except on area. I cannot... CANNOT do North Memphis at all. I go to work, the gym, I come home, and I tend to whatever I am doing online. That is it. This is not to say that I am completely antisocial. I just am not an animated social butterfly either. I am not an intrusive person at all. Mostly, I will be working on securing my passport, visa applications, and reading up on necessary things for my employment once I get there. I understand that this is asking a lot for so little, but I really, REALLY just want to get out of Memphis and get on with my life, and just need the last few months here to get everything squared away. I am clean, responsible, quiet, mature, will pay dues on time, have my own transportation, and can possibly help with groceries while I am still in town. I do not do any drugs. I do not smoke. I do not party (but can adapt to the atmosphere if you do). I do not bring a lot of people around the house. Basically, I am a quiet, extremely self contained person who just wants what he wants... and what he wants is in Canada, just a few short months away. Gender is not an issue to me, nor is orientation. I just need to park somewhere until it is time for me to leave. And please believe me, I am VERY on top of the proceedings to leave Memphis, so this is not some "4-5 months turns into one year" situation. Trust me... I am gone by February, at the latest. <![CDATA[hello potential renters; here is the scoop. pete is my one year old champion pit bull. he babysat my daughter many times so aggression is not an issue. i had to re-home my spanky dog due to not being able to find an apt that would accept him. he was a brindle i had rescued an kept by my side for 5 years; and i will sleep in my van b4 i let this soldier go. i would prefer a house with a fenced in yard so that he can play outdoors when im working and such. I am 38, single, divorced, and have no plans on ever listening to nagging again except by my mother perhaps. i found a house i can buy but it is almost 100 miles from my granny who i have to care for. midtown/cooper young is my favorite part of memphis, and only 5 minutes from my granny. i have had 3 businesses of my own; but uncle sam sends me plenty to pay all my bills and still eat steak every so often. thank you bi-polar. i am completely drug free; although the doc may insist i start back on the xanax; and i have yet to pass up a toke passed my way, but the cigs are done too. i do have a loud bike that will be louder, but pete cant ride with me (another reason a yard is needed). i have leased from slum lord leco in the past and an asshole that just owned dumps. im not sure of my credit, because i only use cash period. i can even do yardwork, light cleaning(duct tape and a blower); whatever it takes to seal the deal (no funny business unless i get the rights to the film..lol). i know this is a long shot but i had to try. i live free now in a nice house in a shithole neighborhood(1000 bux a year is almost free). i cant walk without carrying a gun and my shaved head just dosent sit well with the brothas(around here anyway). my child is being taken care of and i seriously doubt she would be allowed to visit if i lived at the taj mahal; so no kids besides dear pete. pleaze respond through email as my phone dosent always pick up depends on where i am at. thanks j ]]>
