Need a very experienced female CNA/HHA to work 2-7 days as a LIVE-IN in AVENTURA. Depending on the candidates and their availability, I will determine the number of days being split up. Patient is terminally ill with cancer and requires someone to care for her who is compassionate and caring and has experience dealing with the terminally ill. We are meeting with the client tomorrow and the position will likely start this Sunday or Monday. Client will likely need help with transfering from her wheelchair so transfering experience is necessary. This position requires you to have your own automobile and a current driver's license. Work day for a live-in is typically 10-12 hrs and you must remain and sleep at the client's home at night. You can sleep during the nights...but you will be on call in case of emergency. Duties will include bathing, dressing, meal prep, medicine reminders, errands, and maintaining the house. Pay is $100 per day (per 24 hr period).

Need a very experienced female CNA/HHA to work 3 days per week (from Saturday 8am- Tuesday 8am) as a LIVE-IN in Boca Raton. You will help patient with bathing, dressing, meal preperation, errands, dog walking, and maintaining the house. Client will need help with transfering from her wheelchair so it is imperative that you have experience with transfering. Client is a heavy smoker so I need someone who doesn't have any issues being around a smoker. Client is very friendly and easygoing. I will need to fill this position by this Sunday (at the latest) so if you are interested please reply right away. You do not need your own automobile, but you must have reliable transportation to and from the client's home at the beginning and ending of your shifts. You will also be required to have a current driver's license as the client will require you to do errands and will supply you with her automobile while on shift. Pay is $100 per day (per 24 hr period).

Need a very experienced female CNA/HHA to work 3 days per week (from Thursday 6pm - Sunday 6pm) as a LIVE-IN in Miami Springs. You will be caring for an elderly woman with dementia so experience and patience with Alzeimer's is necessary. She is relatively quiet but needs to be vigilantly watched so that she doesn't fall or hurt herself. Client lives in a very big home with her two sons who work from home. The caregiver duties will be bathing, dressing, meal preperation for client (and her sons at dinner as everyone eats together at dinner time), maintaining the home (keeping it clean, doing laundry),medicine reminders, errands,and daily walks with the client. You will need your own automobile and a valid driver's license to do errands and you will be reimbursed for mileage when you use your car while on shift. The hours for this job are from 8am-1030pm....but client is not high energy. She takes some naps during the day so it is not overly taxing. You will be sharing a room at night with the client... but the room is VERY large (you almost have your own wing to the room). Their current caregiver who works from Monday-Thursday says that they are a very nice and caring family and that although the hours are a bit longer, it is very doable. She also mentioned that the client is sweet and that she sleeps well through the night. Pay is $100 per night (for a 24 hrs shift).

Summary: Conducts Utilization Management reviews for assigned facilities treating substance abuse and mental health issues.
<br>

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Performs concurrent review for assigned patients to determine the medical necessity and appropriateness of admission based criteria and standards.Opens cases with managed care companies for new admissions from multiple facilities.

2. Determines initial length of stay in accordance with established norms and/or information gained in the initial review process.*
<br>
<br>
3. Collects and records all information necessary for admission and extended stay review.*
<br>
<br>
4. Maintains system for monitoring admissions to assure the review of the need for continued stays and communication of such information to insurance providers/managed care companies in a timely fashion.*
<br>
<br>
5. Maintains a schedule of additional review dates for patients requiring concurrent review.*
<br>
<br>
6. Discusses concerns regarding these issues with the attending physician and, if necessary, the treatment team.*

7. Documents the insurance/managed care resources, review process, and certification results concurrently in the database, or most current documentation system, in a clear, concise manner accessible to the treatment team members and to Patient Financial Services; verbally transmits information regarding the outcome of concurrent reviews to treatment team members.*

8. Maintains an effective working relationship with the Admissions Department, creating a liaison between administrative staff and clinical staff intended to facilitate communication from admission to clinical/utilization management staff regarding admission issues in relation to clinical and financial matters.*

9. Provides feedback to the Coordinator of Utilization Management regarding insurance/managed care industry policy procedural changes and the potential subsequent impact of the changes to our patients and/or facility.*

10. Coordinates submission of the appeal with clinical staff in the case of a managed care non-authorization except in those cases which have been discussed with the Coordinator of Utilization Management and Site Director and have been unanimously determined to be without merit for appeal.*

11. Responsible for participating in and managing performance improvement projects to progress the continued development of the department.*
