EACH of the 2 racks consists of 4 levels total, not including the base. 3 of the levels are dividable to make 6 seperate cages, and 1 larger cages on the top of each racks. Each rack stands about 6 feet high completely set up, give or take a few inches. Each level, aside from the top one is 14" high. The top cage/section is a little taller (you can fit a dome light in the top). The width of each tower is 24" (12" per small cage) and they are 12" deep (front to back) There is plenty of storage in each of the bases. They have florescent lights and heat tape for each of the levels. Each level is seperate, so it can be taken apart for cleaning or to be stored. This is a prescription Diet that can only be purchased from your veterinarian. It will cost you about $24 per month to feed him. He has occasional skin flair-ups that can be treated with prescription lotion. He also has prescription shampoo. He needs to be bathed once monthly to prevent him from becoming VERY itchy. Bath time is no problem. He is a very friendly ‘In your face’ type of cat. He is an inside only guy that is litter box trained. He gets along well with small dogs, kids and all people. He loves to snuggle. He wears a sweater on cold days. He sleeps in the bed with me at night. He loves to eat and will remind you when it is feeding time. Sometimes he even tries to convince you that you forgot to feed him. He will also try to eat your food too, although this is not allowed, due to is food allergies. Yes, he has all of his claws. I am looking for someone that is looking for a lap warming companion. He does have some health issues, so please be sure you can afford to take him to regular veterinary appointments. <![CDATA[Very sweet female gerbil would be great for anyone looking for a low maintenance pet. She is not getting along with the other 2 gerbils I have so I need to re-home her. She is a rare lilac color with a white spot on her neck. I am charging a $20 re homing fee since I really do not want her to be used as food! I can give you some bedding and food but I do not have a cage for her. You can get a 10 gallon glass tank for around 11 bucks at a pet store along with a screen top (another 10 bucks or so). Gerbils make great pets, and because they are desert animals they produce very little urine and do not have a musky smell like many other small animals. I would prefer to give her to someone who has at least some experience with small animals previously! Call me anytime, I will remove this add when she is adopted. When I went to National K-9 School for Dog Trainers in 1989, I spent 6 weeks, 60 hours per week working and learning dogs. When I went to West Virginia K-9 in 1989, I spent 12 weeks, 60 hours per week working and learning dogs. When I went to St. Augustine K9 Trainning School in 1990, I spent 12 weeks, 60 hours per week working and learning dogs. I offer dog training courses. My courses are 8 weeks in length, 8-10 hours per day, 6 days per week. I also require that my "trainers" go through at least 2 basic, 2 intermediate, and 2 advanced dog training group classes, with different dogs, with different trainers before I will graduate them. <![CDATA[Dear Fellow Pet Lovers and Advocates: As many of you know, the Miami/Dade Animal Services along with the Broward Animal Facility is neither a refuge or sanctuary for the dogs and cats who wind up there. It is tragically a killing zone; and each year nearly 40,000 – that’s right – 40,000 healthy and adoptable unconditionally loving animals, and humankind’s best friends – are euthanized. “Euthanized” is too kind a word, for many of these creatures are dragged screaming by at least three staff people into a killing room, where they are fatally injected, put into a black plastic bag and then dumped into the back of pick-up trucks in behind where no one is permitted to see. As they lie on the killing table, these innocent, vulnerable, kind creatures, their faces filled with fear and terror, are injected by technicians – “normal” looking people who at first glance one would think are giving them a life-saving transfusion; but in fact they are in the process of being murdered. There is no excuse for this massive tragedy being inflicted each day upon these loving creatures. This so called shelter is a disposal unit, and the “culture” is anti-life. I believe it is an offense to God to treat our best friends with such cruelty and inhumane treatment. They come into the world to love us unconditionally – and this is no kind of payback for these kind, angel creatures. There is a very special person who is committing her life to rescuing as many dogs as she can, bringing them to her home, caring for them and seeking out responsible, loving and caring homes for them. Training These wonderful animals is an expensive venture, to say the least, and in order to pay for the medical testing, feeding, and care of these dogs, while they are with us for up to a year of training, we have decided to offer some classes to help with off-setting the expenses. We have trained over 6000 dogs and their owners, trained for the military, one of few certified military work dog handlers, trained and placed dogs with Indiana Department of Corrections, Indianapolis Police Department, Cleveland PD, Columbus Ohio PD, Evansville IN PD, Springfield ILL PD, and with several foreign police agencies. We are certified through Purdue University School of Vet Medicine as a Behaviorist and have many other certifications to go along with that. We are firm believers in continuing education for trainers, and attend conferences yearly in order to keep up with current trends in the world of dog training. We have achieved many titles on many dogs, including, but not limited to, conformation championships, obedience titles, Schutzhund titles, Rally titles, herding titles, etc. We do not believe in using only one specific method of training, but rather, we incorporate many methods in order to achieve a well balanced well trained obedience, and happy dog. Basic Class This Class is open to all NON AGGRESSIVE dogs that have had little to no training. Most of the commands taught here, are the basics that all the service dogs that we train know by the end of their course (this does not include actual task oriented commands!) Pre-Requisites: Intermediate Class, or Proof of Intermediate Training. Going on Vacation? Perfect time for a board/training. All board/trains include all same commands as the “Super Dog Class”. It is a 2-3 week boarding, in my home, not a kennel environment, where there are other dogs, and living in an environment similar to their own home life. When you pick up your highly trained dog, after 2-3 weeks, you will receive a manual with all the training notes, pictures of your dog in training, your CGC paperwork, and much much more. You will also need to spend at least an hour with us, learning the basics of commands that your dog has been taught while here. We will provide, for you, 2-3 more follow-up sessions, at our location, so that you can continue to take pride in your highly trained dog. Assistance Dog Training: This program is for folks with a qualified disability who want to train their own dog to be an assistance dog for their needs.
