For 80 bucks I will include the pots out of my guitar as well as the pickup selector switch. I am selling these because I purchased a new set of active pickups and im going to give actives a whirl to see if I like them. For an extra 10 bucks I can install it all into your guitar, whether you want to keep your pots and switch in your guitar (I will determine which pots/switch are of better quality and install everything and let you keep the extra pots and switch). I paid 190 bucks for the pickups with installation when I bought the guitar brand new, but Id like to get some active pickups to try actives out. Usually people acquire the preamps and then after modify or pay to have it modified to receive power because its power actually comes from the tape transport. I have here an entire console so you dont have to go thru any trouble modding the 280 preamps to get power. Everything works. I have no clue as to what the head life state is currently. Since it has been in my procession I have never recorded on it. I have tried out the transport and it works. ]]>

It still gets loud though! 9 band EQ, Deep, Notch, Bright enhancement, two parallel speaker jacks with a 4 ohm or 200W minimum, 1 XLR and 1 1/4 inch line input. The chorus effect on the amp's rate knob is broken but the depth knob is in tact. The amp was purchased this way. It sounds good with a little tweaking of the EQ. It is a solid state amp. <![CDATA[Here’s my 2004/2005 Gibson Flying V. Everything is stock, with the exception of two upgrades: a custom-carved bone nut and nickel-plated humbucker covers. The covers do a lot to class up the looks of the guitar, and the bone nut helps drastically increase resonance and tuning stability. I’ve only played this guitar a handful of times in the three years I’ve owned it. There’s only one small ding in the finish on the lower bout of the “v”, and an ever-so-tiny amount of buckle rash on the back. Virtually no fret wear. Straight neck. Very hot pickups. This one has the premium nitrocellulose ebony finish – not the cheap faded finish Gibson has been putting out for the last few years. Serious inquiries, please. The hardware on the guitar has oxidized a bit (I think thats the right word) but I personally think it looks sweeter this way.
