<![CDATA[I am looking for a space suitable to do my Exhibition of my art in 2009. The cheaper the better but at the same time I want a really high quality space with a high quality presentation. I am looking to rent the space for as long as two weeks. It is really important for the presentation to be high class. I am not interested in renting a place that want me to go through a formal submission process. I have only ever had my work in 4 group shows; the first one being when I was 17 and the most recent being two years ago at the International Montreal Art Expo; I don't do shows very often because I don't apply for them. I have been focused for the past 12 years on my artistic services. I have a collection of fine arts (all multi-medium), some installations, black light art collection, & photography of the body arts that I do as services. Ideally I want to rent a place that would have one large main room and two smaller side rooms; a total capacity should be around 200-300 people. As an artist, I am a member of the Montreal Board of Trade and plan to use my membership to get the people out to the vernissage. The entire show will be guest list only. What elements of theatre does this show incorporate? The show consists of three stages, pre-production; production and performance. 1. This also consists of auditioning and selecting the local performance line-up. 2. Production is everything leading up to the performance, consisting mainly of rehearsals with the local artists. 3. This project requires impassioned, dedicated minds working together, a return to somewhat self-sufficient communal values tried with some limited successes in the 60’s and since with some modern improvements, a common passion for the arts, a willingness to help middle class displaced youth and workers find their focus and creativity, while serving up classes, survival skills, self-discipline in the various arts media.
