Clean channel has two voicings; vintage and modern while the lead has three: vintage, modern and high gain. <![CDATA[I have decided to sell my vintage 1973 Traynor Reverb Master (YRM-1) guitar amplifier. This amplifier is a classic handwired all tube amp and it’s got the warm and very heavy sound a good old tube amp of 45-50 watts should have. This model (YRM-1) was an upgraded version of the famous Bass Master amp, but with onboard reverb and tremolo. The amp has been gone over and checked some months ago at Audiomanie here in Montreal and it works great. The tubes were all changed at that time and they are still practically new. This amp is ready to rock! The reverb sounds great and the tremolo works, but it is weak… Almost all the old Traynors I’ve tried had that problem. The original 2X12 cabinet is included with the original speakers and they still sound very good. The only thing not original is the speaker/baffle cloth which was changed because the original had been spray painted and had many holes in it. <![CDATA[I picked up this handsome little devil with the intention of sprucing it up a bit to add a unique vintage hollowbody to my quiver. I've just been way too busy to follow through on that plan, so I think it's time to pass it on to someone else with similar intentions. Here's what needs work: The action is far too high, it's missing a neck pickup, and the tuners take a lot of effort to turn. Replacing the pup is straightforward enough. As for the action, I think it's going to require a combination of truss rod and bridge adjustment. I don't have the skills to really tweak either of these (I was planning to educate myself with this guitar, but again, have no time), but I imagine for someone who knows what they're doing, or for a shop, it shouldn't be too big a problem. Here's what's great about the guitar: All of the electronics are functional. Even with just the bridge pup, it sounds great. It's got a bigsby-esque trem. It's real pretty. It's got some unique quirky old features: a "zero fret," a very narrow neck, and a floating bridge with a goofy little attachment that when engaged bumps the tuning up a half step. Teiscos are fairly sought after collector pieces these days, and with a bit of work, I think this would make an extremely unique, great playing, great sounding guitar.]]>
