<![CDATA[Hi, Amateur/Semi-Pro musicians (Drummer -40, Rhythm Guitarist/Bass - 45, Singer - 40, Rhythm/Some Lead Guitarist/Bass - 46 ME) seek that elusive all important 5th piece of the puzzle. We play mainly 70s-2008 rock. We're down to earth, open-minded, seeking the 5th member. We don't plan to tour the world (some of us have families) but do want to play 4-6 times a month in order to enjoy the music, chill and do occasional gigs. Originals would be nice too. We love lotsa bands but currently here's some of the ones that we're working on: Mellencamp, Oasis, Petty, Stones, Pearl Jam, Hip, Skynyrd, Springsteen, Cracker, Cars, Goo Goo Dolls. We jam mostly in the Snowdon area, at my friend's place - living room actually. Drummer has an electronic kit there. We're not seasoned pros although we've all tinkered around on and off for years. We're not beginners but aren't pros either, I suppose in the middle somewhere. We're sounding promising with our new singer and the tunes we play. Live we have limited but great, recent experience and we're looking for more. We're not kids so we know how good/bad we are but we're also good friends and know we can only get better with time. We aren't looking for a superstar, or someone who plays for his livelihood (cause we don't nor plan to at the moment) or someone who expects us to be superb musicians. We're average guys, probably average musicians with a whole lotta love and heart for the music we play and simply, we want to solidify a band, play a few gigs once in awhile, once comfortable, experiment with originals and see where it leads. There isn't an urgency right now to conquer the world, although we are NOT interested in simply jamming, banging around for kicks only. We need someone who has similar musical tastes, can handle much (but not all)of the leads, be a team player and share the same vision. Ideally in the same age range. I'm 28,...moved to the Plateau a couple months ago, I'm very serious about bands that I'm in not in an asshole way, but in a dedicated non-asshole way. I started writing and recording about 6 months ago just with my Pod and my laptop,...I don't really write lyrics though,...well,....not good ones anyway,...my lyrics makes people want to hang themselves...so I stick to riffs and melodies....it's just better for everyone involved. I have gear. I guess the stuff I want to play is heavy/funky/bluesy stuff. If you slammed Sabbath, Hendrix, Tool, Pink Floyd, Chili Peppers, Neil Young and STP into a giant blender with ice and some pineapple,....that's the smoothie I want to write. I would want to be playing out as regularly as possible once our material is together,...I'm not sure how it works in Montreal, but we gigged every Friday and Saturday night with a couple rehearsals a month for new tunes. We'd take a couple weeks off during the year....that pace was a bit much, but my,...what fun it was. So anyway, that's about it.]]>

The main floor is a huge 4 1/2, and is setup up in a way that three people can live comfortably, in three of the biggest rooms you have ever seen. And the kitchen is also massive. The basement has a kitchen & bathroom as well. We had a hide-a-bed down there (which is also for sale) and used the space as a guest room, we also rented it to other bands to practice in.
