<![CDATA[Énergie Verte Benny Farm (EVBF) is a community owned energy company that is installing and managing a range of energy efficiency equipment in housing projects in Montreal. As part of our mandate to share our knowledge across the Montreal community, we have initiated the Access Energy project, that helps Montreal home owners form buyers’ groups to buy and install solar thermal water heating systems. <br> <br> We are currently seeking a coordinator to work around three days per week (15-25 hours per week) to manage the Access Energy project. <![CDATA[Researchers at McGill University (Health Centre and Department of Psychiatry) are inviting female volunteers to participate in a study about mood regulation in relation to the neurotransmitter serotonin. We are particularly interested in women (age 18-60) who meet at least 4 out of the 8 following criteria: (1) mood fluctuations from one extreme to the other in short periods of time; (2) unstable self-esteem and self-identity as well as (3) feelings of emptiness; (4) chronic and intense fear of abandonment; (5) repeatedly and intentionally injuring themselves (eg: cutting their wrists); (6) problems controlling their temper; (7) impulsive behavior (eg: compulsive spending, substance abuse); and (8) marked difficulty engaging in social relationships, which are often turbulent and chaotic. We are inviting women currently treated for disturbed emotional and social behaviors with medications such as fluoxetine (SSRIs), who have seen improvements in their symptoms as a result. <![CDATA[PROJECT 10 <br> <br> Job Opportunity: Programming Coordinator Contract <br> <br> Who We Are <br> <br> Project 10 is a bilingual community organization that works to promote <br> the personal, social, sexual and mental well being of lesbian, gay, <br> bisexual, transgender, transsexual, two-spirit, intersex and <br> questioning youth and adults ages 14-25. <br> <br> Through advocacy and education, using a harm reduction approach, <br> Project 10 aims to facilitate the empowerment of youth at individual, <br> community, and institutional levels with a particular emphasis on <br> supporting individuals and groups who experience multiple and <br> intersecting oppressions. <br> <br> The Opportunity <br> <br> Project 10 is looking for a fluently bilingual, proactive, <br> self-directed, motivated and organized individual to work part-time in <br> a team-based structure on a five month contract. As an integrated team <br> member, the Programming Coordinator will plan a 4 day leadership <br> retreat for GLBTIQQ youth, create a programming structure for the <br> event, recruit multiregional youth to attend, and report on the <br> learnings gleaned from the retreat with feedback from the youth who <br> attend.
