The deppanneur owner is out to kill me. He spends his days prettying up all the useless and poisonous products in his shop while he raises the product price down a long chain of hungry selfish victims in today's economic crisis. So that my chocolate bar of 20 ingredients bought wholesale, some in millions of barrels of preservatives and colorings makes for great cover-up how my taste buds are constantly manipulated by these junk foods. Even my apples and oranges grow from bottom price chemicals, the standard quota for the common farmer in and around the way. I suffer from madness when I watch television attack the living minds of those around me while Access Hollywood and ET, etc help fund the entertainment industry as well as consumer goods so as to create more jobs in sectors that depend on convincing people to buy. In my eyes they teach a person how to have an image so to popularize products for making sales while also how to gossip without forgetting to mention making totally stupid people look cool. <![CDATA[Dans un article exceptionnellement honnête publié dans le New York Times de samedi, l’éditorialiste de la section économique, Joe Nocera, a révélé ce qu’il qualifie de « petits secrets de l’industrie bancaire », soit « qu’elle n’a pas l’intention d’utiliser l’argent [du sauvetage gouvernemental] pour faire de nouveaux prêts ». Comme l’explique Nocera, le plan annoncé le 13 octobre par le secrétaire du Trésor Henry Paulson qui consiste à offrir 250 milliards $ d’argent des contribuables aux plus grandes banques, contre des actions non-votantes, n’a jamais vraiment eu pour objectif d’inciter ces dernières à recommencer à prêter aux entreprises et aux consommateurs, le but officiel du sauvetage. Son but premier était plutôt d’engendrer une rapide consolidation du système banquier américain en subventionnant une série d’acquisitions de plus petites firmes financières par les plus puissantes banques. Dans son commentaire, Nocera cite une conférence téléphonique privée menée le 17 octobre par un haut dirigeant de JPMorgan Chase, le bénéficiaire de 25 milliards de dollars en fonds publics. Nocera explique qu’il a réussi à obtenir le numéro de téléphone pour écouter un enregistrement de la conversation, à l’insu du directeur dont il tait le nom. Lorsque l’un des participants demande si les 25 milliards $ de fonds fédéraux vont « modifier nos politiques stratégiques de prêt », le cadre répond : « Nous pensons que cela va nous aider à être un peu plus opportunistes dans le domaine de l’acquisition si l’on considère les banques qui sont encore en difficulté. » Faisant référence à la récente acquisition par JPMorgan, avec l’aide du gouvernement, de deux importants compétiteurs, le directeur ajoute, « Et je ne crois pas que c’est terminé du côté des acquisitions même après les fusions de Washington Mutual et de Bear Stearns. Je crois qu’il y aura de grandes occasions pour notre croissance dans cet environnement, et je crois que nous avons la chance d’utiliser ces 25 milliards $ dans ce but, et aussi bien sûr, si la récession se transforme en dépression ou d’autres imprévus se présentent, cet argent pourra servir de protection. » Comme l’indique Nocera, « Vous pouvez relire cette réponse autant de fois que vous le voulez, vous ne trouverez absolument rien là-dedans qui parle de prêts pour aider l’économie américaine. » Plus tard, lors de la conférence, le même directeur déclara : « Nous pensons que le volume des prêts continuera à diminuer vu le resserrement du crédit, pour refléter le coût élevé dans le secteur des prêts. » « C’est comme si », écrit le chroniqueur du Times, « l’un des arguments clés du Trésor pour le programme de recapitalisation, c’est-à-dire qu’il fera en sorte que les banques prêteront de nouveau, est une feuille de vigne… En fait, le Trésor souhaite que les banques s’acquièrent entre elles et il utilise son pouvoir pour injecter du capital afin de forcer une nouvelle et importante ronde de consolidation des banques. » Plus tôt ce mois-ci, il explique que « dans un geste passé presque inaperçu », Paulson, l’ancien PDG de Goldman Sachs, a mis en place de nouvelles baisses d’impôts de plusieurs milliards de dollars qui sont conçues pour encourager les banques à fusionner. Elles permettent à la banque qui est l’acquéreur d’immédiatement déduire les pertes apparaissant au bilan de la banque acquise. Paulson et d’autres responsables du Trésor ont fait des déclarations publiques qui appellent les banques bénéficiaires de fonds publics à utiliser ces derniers pour augmenter leurs activités de crédit. Cela, cependant, n’est que la ligne officielle présentée au grand public. Le programme de sauvetage n’impose aucune clause de prêt sur les banques en retour de l’argent du gouvernement. Il a ensuite donné à la banque PNC de Pittsburgh 7,7 milliards $ provenant du plan de sauvetage pour l’aider à couvrir les coûts du rachat de National City. PNC va aussi bénéficier grandement des baisses d’impôts sur les fusions édictées par le Trésor. Toutes les raisons invoquées pour justifier le sauvetage des banques ont été exposées comme étant des mensonges. Les dirigeants démocrates au Congrès et Barack Obama se sont joints au président Bush, au président de la Réserve fédérale Ben Bernanke, et à Paulson pour insister que le sauvetage devait être accepté par le Congrès, et accepté immédiatement, malgré l’immense opposition populaire. Ceux qui se sont opposés au plan ont été dénoncés comme une menace pour le bien commun de la population américaine. Dans un discours télévisé de par tout le pays le 24 septembre, avant que le Congrès ne vote sur le plan de sauvetage, Bush a dit que ce plan « aiderait les consommateurs et les hommes d’affaires américains à obtenir du crédit d’après leurs besoins quotidiens et afin de créer des emplois ». Si le plan était rejeté, a-t-il averti, « [d]’autres banques pourraient faire faillite, y compris certaines dans votre communauté. La bourse pourrait perdre encore plus de valeur, ce qui diminuera la valeur de vos épargnes en vue de la retraite… D’autres compagnies pourraient être forcées de fermer leurs portes et des millions d’Américains pourraient perdre leur emploi… au bout du compte, notre pays pourrait connaître une longue et douloureuse récession. » Un mois plus tard, le sauvetage était voté et tous les sombres développements dont Bush avait menacé le peuple américain et dont ce dernier devait être protégé, la fermeture de banques et de compagnies, l’effondrement de la bourse, l’augmentation en flèche du chômage, tout cela est arrivé et s’accélère. Alors qu’Obama parle du besoin pour tous les Américains de « s’unir » dans l’esprit du « partage du sacrifice » (ce par quoi il veut dire des coupes draconiennes dans les programmes de Medicare et de Medicaid, dans la sécurité sociale et les autres programmes sociaux) et qu’il invoque le coût du sauvetage pour justifier l’austérité fiscale, les banquiers vont de l’avant et défendent impitoyablement les intérêts de leur classe. Le plan de « sauvetage économique » s’est révélé n’être qu’une façon de voler la société au profit de l’aristocratie financière. L’élite dirigeante des Etats-Unis, utilisant sa domination sur l’Etat et le système politique des deux partis, exploite une crise qu’elle a elle-même fabriquée pour imposer un programme économique, en élaboration depuis longtemps, qui n’aurait pu être imposé dans un contexte normal. Le résultat sera des difficultés économiques plus grandes pour les Américains ordinaires. Les grandes banques auront encore plus de poids sur les marchés pour établir les taux d’intérêt et pour décider de l’accès au crédit des travailleurs, des étudiants et des petites entreprises. Alors qu’aucune mesure sérieuse n’a été proposée, que ce soit par l’administration Bush, le candidat présidentiel républicain ou encore son adversaire démocrate, pour empêcher la catastrophe sociale de frapper de plein fouet les travailleurs, le gouvernement organise une restructuration du système financier qui permettra à une poignée de banques géantes d’augmenter leur pouvoir sur la société. <![CDATA[society without values hi, it just to mention that foreigners pretending to be muslims while actually acting like jews and cherry picking parts of the religon that suits them is awful. i see it constantly, traitors and it sickens me. our government lets any parasite in this country. i have the utmost respect to true followers but not the traitors who actually lead a capitalist life. the problem is that the United States and the british empire created such a misery for arabs especially muslims that they feel like they have no choice but escape constant danger and famine. now we have to absorb them into our sinful society. the fact is, it no better here for the most part. it doesnt seem that bad because we are immune to the bad news and violence. newspaper, movies, videogames, TV, magazines and life growing up in highschool got us immune. the fact is, for example, a women and girl are being abused every second of the day in quebec, but does anyone really care? rather shut our eyes and pretend everything is fine, i guess its much easier to accept. what law protects abusers and hardcore criminals, privacy laws among others. even suspected beyond a resonable doubt have rights but waht about the victims, will the law heal their inner scars? i highly doubt it. Something has to be clear to everyone...everyone who cares, who are deAmericanized, who has a pure soul that Capitalism is a disease, a mental disease. it trumps honesty, values and beliefs and only the most aggressive and hungry survive. We need a new Socialist government that is willing to make radical changes for the good of humanity because right now we are on a self destructive path, literally.
