<![CDATA[Shogun Road bike w/ 27 inch wheels, 57cm seat tube, 56cm top tube, and 32.5 standover. The frame is made with double butted tange steel...pretty decent stuff. Both the frame and fork is lugged. Some older road bikes are made out of lower quality straight gauge steel tubing...not this one! The current components are shimano (12 speed) , including the single pivot brake calipers. The rear hub is bolt on, front is quick release. I can include tektro brake levers (can ride the brake hoods) for $10 if interested. It will need new tubes and tires. It has vertical rear drop outs, so this could be converted to SS or fixed if that's what you want. ]]>

So when I went to water my flowers I couldn't so I was going to just move it a hair. Well I got in and instead of hitting the brake I hit the gas and when I was going forward I paniced and stomped on the gas to try and stop it. My husband has been recently laid off and we are going to struggle to replace the garage door. But my children's bikes cant be replaced at this time unless someone may have some they are willing to give them. They are a 10 year old girl and an 8 year old boy.. <![CDATA[This is a mid 90's model Trek. It's a 20-inch frame. Very sturdy bike. It has some nicks and scratches but just from normal use. It has become my back up over the last few years and it is rarely used. I usually jump on it once every couple weeks and take it for a spin around the yard. I still take it on trails when my main bike is being tuned up. I always thought I would pass the bike on to my son but I don't know that it is going to be "cool" enough. If you have any questions about the durability of the bike you should do a search on the web and see what people have to say about thier Antelope. A lot of hardcore guys swear by them. ]]>

<![CDATA[Don't feel bad about the bike (unless you really did pay $300 for it, because it really is $160 at W-M): - if it is the best road bike you can afford right now (because the economy has been so bad for so long, and you aren't blowing your spare money/wasting your time on: gaming/smokes/dope/booze/lottery/i-pods/cell phones/etc.) - if it is the right size for you (since it's a small-sized frame) - if the wheels are staying true (because you aren't abusing them by jumping off ramps and smacking curbs) - if the spoke ends aren't so long they're poking past the ends of the spoke nipples and flatting the tires...from the INside...by just...inflating - nothing else important is loose/falling apart/breaking, especially critical things, like the brakes, stem/handlebar, and frame-welds Whatever you do, don't go to W-M and "upgrade" to the $500/38-pound so-called "Schwinn 'Carbon-Fiber' 1000"; don't even imagine it's any better than what you aleady own. The only "c-f" on it are the forks and in the rear tirangle. Someday, when the economy turns around like we all hope it does, you'll get a good job and buy a quality bike at a real bike shop, and then you can decide if you want to keep the Schwinn to use it on a stationary trainer, or donate it to the Salvation Army to help someone else less fortunate. Besides, owning (and trying to fix) cheap bikes are the best way to learn to appreciate why quality bikes cost more and what to avoid when you're ready to get a better bike (which you can find without getting ripped off here on CL), even if it's used.]]>

The frame is the unisex design. Every aspect of the bike is perfect with the exception of the seat. The seat has one small cut in it. <![CDATA[I have been on here for a while now reading all of the post about the GMC Denali bike. I purchased this bike from Wal-Mart about four months ago, before this great craigslist debate ocured. I have put 400 miles on this poor bike. This is my first road bike and money dictates what you ride. It does ride ok, I guess, I've never rode anything else. The cheap shifters dont allow any room for a head light or computer. I J.B. welded a computer on, I know,right!!! I have replaced the bar tape and put some bontreger tires on and I ride it around my little town without shame, well mabey a little. All of these post have got me thinking, Im just going to repaint it so nobody thinks I got screwed and paid 299.00 for it. Mabey a camo job so it becomes invisible. It's cheap but usefull, but not 299.00 worth of usefull. If I can ever find the money to buy another bike will but that may be a long time down the road. It sucks when you fall in love with cycling because you come to the realization that more money means faster bikes and longer rides. After training on this one I should be smokin fast on a real bike. <![CDATA[For sale GT Enduro 7! it is part mountain bike, part beach cruiser and all fun. It is a really rare bike and would be great for getting around campus or the city. The seven is for the 7 speed Nexus internal rear hub that has 7 internal gears and a brake (the hub alone is worth $150) No more jumping chains or clunky gear shifting. It comes with a shock absorbing seat post, foam padded grips, 26" knobby tires and it even has a groovy smoke color tinted plastic chain guard to keep your pant leg from getting dirty. It has around a 19" stand over height, the top bar is curved so there is some room there if it is close, I have a 32" inseam and never had a problem. A great bike for the street or occasional off road trail adventure and I am only selling because now I live somewhere where the hills are too steep to ride it so I got a different bike.. <![CDATA[his is an older Free Spirit that I'd picked up to fix up. Now I need money more than I need an extra bike. Here's the specs: Tires- 26". They hold air, but will need replacing in the next couple of years if you ride regularly. Gears- 3-speed internal hub. This does not shift. You can get a replacement, wheel and all, from Amazon or a local bike shop for under $100 (MOAB quoted me 90 to instal an entire new back wheel). You can get off extremely cheap if you put in a single speed hub. Brakes- Front is caliper-style, rear is coaster. Both work. Frame- Steel. Has steel rear rack and fenders. Paint is fairly worn, but not atrocious. So, I need to get rid of this, but not so badly that I'm willing to cheat myself out of it- therefore, I will ignore any lowballing :-) Feel free to drop me a line and take it for a spin. ]]>
