<![CDATA[This is a 1994 model full carbon Specialized Epic road bike in beautiful, extremely clean, and excellent condition. It's been babied and meticulously maintained, and it's ready to ride! A fast, well sought after bike, and an innovation in it's day, it's a rare classic find now. Still a great riding bike even when compared to modern day road bikes, and it still has years of riding life left in it. It's never been raced, ridden hard, wrecked, or laid down, has very low miles, has never been stored or left outside, and only has about 1500 miles on it. It's been babied and extremely well maintained by it's bike mechanic owner. Only ridden in the rain a very few times when I've been caught out in it. I've done upgrades to improve its performance, but I still have all the stock Shimano 105 components that are in excellent condition (plus an extra cassette with wider/lower gear ratios), as seen in the picture. All of that will be included, and it could easily be returned to it's original, stock spec'd component group for collector's purposes. Original Specialized seats are occasionally available on ebay, as well. Or leave it as is and have a great climbing and riding bike! Also included will be the cleats to match the pedals. Seat tube measures 58cm from middle of bottom bracket to top of the seat tube, and 56 to middle of top tube, so I'm unclear as to the exact size. <![CDATA[For sale is a 56 cm 2005 Trek Madone 5.2 made with an OCLV 120 carbon fiber frame. The bike features a full 10 speed Shimano Ultegra drivetrain with a 53/39 crank, 12-25 rear cassette, and Bontrager Race Lite wheels. The tires are Bontrager Race Lite with about 90% life left and the saddle has been swapped for a Specialized Body Geometry model. This bike has never been crashed and is in very good condition with about 3000 miles on it. There are no major scratches, dings or dents and it comes freshly tuned up. I am also selling it with a Trek Incite 6i computer, 2 Bontrager Race Lite water bottle cages and Look Delta clipless pedals with cleats. The cleats are well used and new cleats are recommended.
