The successful candidate will work on a variety of technically challenging projects for clients in the oil & gas, energy, transportation, and manufacturing sectors throughout Tennessee, with increasing responsibility for task/project management duties. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct air quality analyses and assess regulatory compliance.
<br>
• Quantify air pollutant emissions and impacts.
<br>
• Develop air quality permits, work directly with local regulators, and evaluate air pollution control technologies.
<br>
• Evaluate technical and economic feasibility of air pollution control equipment.
<br>
• Implement environmental compliance management systems and processes.
<br>
• Prepare recommendations and reporting of results.
<br>
• Perform environmental compliance audits and implement follow-up corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
<br>
• Manage multiple tasks within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables.
<br>
• Interact and maintain successful relationships with clients.
<br>

REQUIREMENTS:
<br>
• BS in chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering or related degree; MS and/or PE preferred.
<br>
• 3 to 5 years of direct consulting or industry experience involving state construction and Title V permitting, PSD, NSR, BACT, and/or MACT experience a plus.
<br>
• Good understanding of air emissions and emission reporting processes.
<br>
• Strong hands-on spreadsheet and database comprehension.
<br>
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

RW Armstrong has an immediate need for a Federal Program Regional Business Development Manager with a bachelor degree in an engingeering or related science discipline and 12 or more years business development experience.
Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) are required; key responsibilities include articulating strategy and direction to Director of Business Development, DoD & Federal Program Director and Senior Management, articulating key customer requirements and needs to project teams, and communicating Company skills and design/build capabilities to the customer.
Knowledge of the Department of Defense Program, Planning, Budget and Execution process, and acquisition strategies is essential to focus general and specific capture and technology investment strategies for the business area. Also requires knowledge of competing companies and their systems.
Strong leadership and organizational skills are needed to influence others while building and maintaining relationships (internally and externally) critical to business development and program capture.
Must be self-directing as this position will have wide latitude to identify and pursue opportunities within the given discipline service areas.
Must have DoD & Federal customer experience.
