Study will be non-denominationally based, but exact topics will depend on the knowledge and spiritual maturity of the group. Believers and non-believers of any age are welcome. <![CDATA[We are a group that is trying to reform the sex offender laws, our goal is not to remove these laws, but reform them so that the many who are under these laws who are not rapist or pedophiles will be taken off. There are more than half of people under these laws who have had consensual sex as teens, got caught urinating on grounds, flashing their female upper body at parties, mooning peers at parties, and those who have been falsley accused of some type of sex offense because of an angry girlfriend/boyfriend to get even with them and who have later confessed they were wrong in doing that. Some of these sex offenders are married to their highschool sweetheart that they had consensual sex with as teens, some of these sex offenders who made these stupid, yet common mistakes as teenagers have families now and their familes are suffering the humiliation, judgements, and unconstitutional laws because of restriction laws. Media concentrate on just the dangerous ones not realizing that more than half of the sex offenders on the registries are not a danger to anyone and want to live successful and peaceful lives with their loved ones. Neighborhoods depreciate when sex offenders are discovered on the registry, when again, most or even all of them have no desire to rape or child molest because they are not the dangerous ones. Jobs are not offered to these non-threatening sex offenders causing them to be without jobs and contribute to the high unemployment rate. Non-threatening sex offenders are denied housing and Miami, FL (for example) has a big problem of sex offenders living under the bridge away fromt heir familes because of the restriction laws. Granted there are many who deserve to be on the list, but there are so many more who do not. Many teens and probably yourself have had consensual teen sex under the age of 19, but just never got caught. We are trying to make Congress realize that it is this group of people who do not belong under these sex offender laws. Only rapist, pedophiles, and those who pose as a threat to our children should be under these laws with very strict and tougher identity laws. Only those who are labled as dangerous should be monitored and should suffer under these laws because that is what these laws were intended for in the first place, but instead these laws are also hurting familes whose family member is labeled as a sex offender but are not a threat to society. there are many links for you to be a part of, but the following links are a start. We have had what the religious community would call a crisis of faith. It's been a big change, but I'm really getting to like Nashville. One of the things I really miss, however, is the skate group I used to roll with every Friday night. We'd meet up around 9pm and skate various parts of town for a few hours. We'd listen to great music, chat and get a great workout. It was an absolute blast! I'm hoping to find at least a few other locales interested in getting together for a skate every now and then. It doesn't have to be Friday night and it doesn't have to be every week. Heck, we can even do day skates if that's better for people's schedule. I'm flexible and open to suggestions. Recreational inliners, speed skaters, quads, etc. All are welcome. Back in Cali, we even had a few bikers join us on occasion. All I ask is that you be decently competent on whatever you're riding on and it's recommended to at least wear a helmet and some kind of blinking or reflective apparatus (for night skates). If we can get enough interest, we'll get some tunes going as well.
