Hello! My name is Katelynn and I am a qualified, married female child provider who is moving to Nashville at the beginning of April. Childcare is my passion, and I love children. They are my highest priority! I have excellent references, and 5 years of experience with children ages 6 months-11 years old! I have worked with special needs children ( I took a class in high school for a semester where I worked hands on everyday with children with varying conditions) I have also worked with children with behavior issues, and a hearing impaired child, and also helped raise my brother. I am available all hours of the the day, seven days a week. My schedule is very flexible, so i can meet your families needs! I can cook, do light/extensive house cleaning, chores around the house, take care of animals, etc! I am disease/drug free, and I do not smoke. I currently do not have a car, but can provide my own transportation. I can help with tutoring, potty training, etc. I have all the skills needed to take care of children! I am loving, caring, and compassionate. I really do care about the children I care for, and will give them my undivided attention. This is what I love to do. To me, child care is one of the most rewarding lines of work. I hope that I can meet your family, and help your children grow into the people they are meant to be. I really do hope you take the time to check me out, and see what I'm all about. I know how important your children are to you, and that finding the right childcare provider that will meet there needs AND your needs, is impertinent. I am confident that your children will love me, as much as I will love them. I hope that we have the chance to meet! the reason that I will be a perfect match for your family, is that I am available whenever, at any hour. If you have a weird schedule, a steady schedule, or both, I'm your girl!

Thank you so much, and I hope to hear from you!
Hello, I am a mother of two lovely children with several years of experience taking care of children and I enjoy every moment of it. Children are a gift from God, and I absolutely adore and have a true heart for them. As I take care of your child, I will take the time to spend quality time with him or her doing the following things: teaching them strong communication skills, proper manners, practicing good hygiene, kid's fun workouts sometimes, learning numbers, alphabets, sounding letters, spelling words, reading to them, working on educational work books, doing arts and crafts, playing outside(only with parent's approval), potty training, singing and dancing, doing little projects & experiments, puppet shows, watching educational kids programs, ocassional games with prizes, making a mess in the kitchen baking healthy cookies and cooking other kid's fun foods, and just being silly enjoying childhood . I try to make my home into a fun learning adventure where the kids can explore and learn, and there will be plenty of activities to do. I do limit kids from watching too much tv, and programs are very, very carefully selected. I also do have a structured schedule for the kids with daily activities all planned out, so the they will be use to a routine. My home is a safe smoke free/drug free/alcohol free/ pet free enviroment, and is very clean( I am anti- germs, lol). My back yard is fenced in and the gates have locks for children's protection. Healthy all natural and mostly organic home cooked meals ( with absolutely no forms of msg, no sugar, low sodium, non gmo, no yellow dye #5, no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial garbage, and no junk food), and healthy snacks will be provided for your child at no extra cost if you would like. You are more than welcome to run background checks, call my references, or even schedule an appointment to interview me to get to know me more. I am very reliable and take my job very seriously, as well as I give daily reports to parents as to what child's day was like. Your child will be properly supervised the entire time they are here, I am extra careful with them. Knowing how the economy is, I am willing to work with you on the price. Please feel free to call me with any questions or concerns at (615) 232-0797. I look forward to taking good and special care of your precious little angels, and loving them as my own! Have a blessed day, Luanne.

I'm 20 yrs. old and I have a lot of experience babysitting(since I was about 12) I also have two kids of my own(ages 1-girl and 3-boy) I would like to babysit to get some extra money coming in and so my kids can play with other kids, since they dont have any kids toplay with around here. I dont want to watch more than 2 so I can fit all of them in my truck if I want to take them to the park(which is right down the road from our house but we dont have sidewalks so I'd have to drive) I'm available to babysit mon-fri 7am-7pm and some weekends if it's planned ahead of time so I dont make any plans. I'm asking $2 an hour per kid and anything after 9 hours each day is $3 an hr.I will read them books, play outside or inside, take them to the park on nice days and me and my kids are starting a garden so that wil be another actiivity they can do,we have a huge yard for them to play in also.and if they are older kids I can help them with homework or if they arent in school I will teach them colors and letters and numbers.they will be fed meals and snacks in between,my kids eat at about 8am,noon,and 6pm,with snacks in between so that is when all of them would eat and i will provide all the food but once a week I would like for you to bring a thing of juice or milk or something since kids go through those a lot, thanks.i wont be able to start until 3/20/10 ,if you are interested, please email and I will get back with you asap.If you want references,I can get you 2 or 3.we also have 2 cats, a dog,and a goat(which is inside because he is being bottle fed). so if your kids are allergic you should probaly find a different babysitter lol, oh also i live in westmoreland if you want to google it and see how far it is from where you live the zip code is 37186

*someone told me that my house wasnt "child friendly" because we have a goat in our house, well I would like to add that it is a baby(the size of a cat) and it is being bottle fed becasue it's mother died so thats why it is in the house.and it isnt going to permanetly be in the house, when it is weaned its going outside,I don't live in a barn,I'm just not gong to go outside every 4 hours day and night to feed him.and I think it is good for kids to be around different animals,so they aren't scared of them.my kids LOVE the goat :)...they named him deigo(from "Go Deigo Go")

I am a professional Childcare Provider with a safe and loving environment for my little ones. My daycare children are an extension of my family and mean so very much to me. I dedicate a great deal of my after work hours time to preparing lesson plans, preparing home cooked meals, planing field trips, and so on. We follow a schedule but are flexible. Art and Music are a part of everyday and we encourage our children to be creative. I believe that the Parent / Teacher relationship is very important and I value that partnerships. Each child is given individual attention each day. We are searching for a friend that enjoys playing with others, learning, spending time outdoors, and is learning respect for others. We are an active group so parents who prefer their children remain in the home would not be a good fit.

We are located in Nashville near Antioch with easy access to I-24. We have 3 extra beds and a play pen for naps and a playroom full of toys for play. We have no indoor pets other than fish, but we do have an outdoor, very friendly dog. I know lots of school aged boys love their video games LOL. We do have a ps2, ps3, and nintindo DS they are welcome to play. I can also help with homework and help teach the little ones colors and numbers and potty training, which I'm fixing to introduce to my little one! I am a 27-year-old mother of one toddler girl, and I am now enrolling children for care in my home starting immediately. My home is located in a safe, quiet neighborhood in Murfreesboro, convenient to MTSU and I-24. I have significant experience (14 years) caring for all ages at home, daycare centers, church nurseries, and camp settings. I have flexible hours, as I am available nights and weekends as well as regular weekday hours.
My child care philosophy is that a child should be given plenty of individual attention customized to that particular child's needs. A child should feel safe in his/her environment, and should be able to fully trust and bond with his/her care provider. I only use positive reinforcement and redirecting, and I practice Attachment Parenting. Children will be able to participate in interactive, age-appropriate activities such as creative play, reading, singing, etc.

I have a resume and references available upon request, and I am more than willing to submit to a drug test and background check. I also plan on getting my re-certification in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid soon. Tuition rate (including healthy snacks and art/craft supplies) is $100 per week. Part-time care also available. Discounts available for multiple children. Lunch can be provided upon request for a small additional fee (dependent on dietary requirements). If my style of child care sounds like a good fit with your child(ren), please e-mail for more information, and I will get back to you ASAP!

Love

I LOVE the kids, I love to spoil someones else's child & send them home. I love getting phone calls from DCP telling me they are bringing their 3 month old back to my house to move in because he like me more than he does them.

What I like most about my job.............the kids of course! I love when a parent tells me thier child was singing or doing something that i taught them.

What I love about doing childcare is being able to spend timw with my children while also supplying a culture rich environment for several children to develop social skills.

The best things about my job are hugs and caring from the children, the excitment of the children when they learn or do something new, and having cool teachers in the class next to me. One more thing I really like is to make messes so it helps to work with kids.

Being around children, seeing things through their eyes. Being free to drop everything, turn on the music, and dance.

That I am able to stay home with my own children and also earn a good living. I enjoy working with children, and feel I am making a positive impact in their lives. Even though I know they'd really rather be home with Mom, I'm their Momma Beth during the day. I like being my own boss and having control over my own day, rather than punching a time clock somewhere.

I love being home for my own children when they return from school each day. I love the time I get to spend with my dc babies and love to give them back to their parents at the end of the day!

Smiling Faces, hugs, kisses, I did it's, giggles, laughter, I love you's, appreciative parents.

Love not having to drag my kids out in the morning in bad weather. Love being home for snow days with hot chocolate and sledding. Love having dcks who love to come here. Love being here for my kids even if they have to share me. I love not paying someone else to raise my kids but I also like being able to help raise others. Love smiles, hugs, giggles, and sloppy kisses!

Love being home for my own kids, love spending time with the dcks and watching them learn and play, love when I have great dcf's that appreciate what I do.

Three things I like: 1) Being able to be home for my children before and after school and having time to spend with them. 2) Being able to have a positve effect (teaching the children and informing the parents of different resources avalible to them) on familes that HAVE to use child care. 3) All the smiles, hugs, kisses, mud pies, painted shirts, milkstashis, eyes of wonderment and I did it's and being able to see that the work I do is important.

Three things I like about my job. Being busy. The funny things kids come up with. Example: "Aunt Ruthie, I have a grandson and SHE lives under the sea." Translation - To Mikey a relative is a grandson. He has an aunt who lives in Florida near the ocean. Logical to me! Having an excuse to buy all the cutest toys.

Hate
I dislike rude, inconsiderate parents. Disrepect is BIG no no, I can't handle a parent who does this.

What i dont like about my job......... the parents! I have been taken advantage time and time again by parents. They make the job less fun.

What I dislike the most is having parents deviate from a schedule, often by hours, without thinking to give me notice. I also dislike being told about a parent's holiday expenses, etc. trying to explain why they will be late paying, when they seem not to notice that I have those very same expenses.

The worst parts are parents who have "perfect kids" (I'm sure you know what I mean, the ones that are offended when you tell them something happened), parents that don't make an effort in their child's life, (for example sending the child in jeans and no other clothes with him on swimming day, and not being concerned with it when you tell them), and lastly, putting up with bosses that sometimes think they know everything, and they don't.

Parents who believe a signed contract is negotiable, or doesn't really pertain to them.

I dislike the fact that my job comes with few benefits, such as insurance and retirement. I *really* dislike it when parents are irresponsible. When they bring a sick child to my door and act irritated when I have to ask them to come back when their child is well, so as not to risk illness to my other daycare children, as well as my own. When they do not bring their children in weather-appropriate clothing (no coat in winter, etc.). When they "forget" to bring diapers on a regular basis. Such a lack of concern is shown for the child.....this kind of stuff really makes me angry. I also dislike getting up at 5:30 AM. :-)

I LOATHE parents thinking that I have no overhead, "She has to have the lights on if she is home anyway" and that I can wait until it is convenient for them to pay me!

Late (pick-ups & Payments) Parents, Sick children with parents no where to be found, unappreciative parents.

Hate being taken advantage of and others not understanding the amount of work and patience it takes to do this job. Hate it when parents are too accommodating to their children thus undoing everything we are trying to learn here. Hate it when the parents have so much guilt for placing their child in care that they forget who is the parent and who is the child.

Hate when I am not appreciated and dcp think the rules don't apply to them, hate having to ask for my paycheck, hate when dcps bring sick kids!

Things I strongly dislike: 1) Being called a babysitter - I do not get to watch tv or play on the computer all day long nor do I sit on babies. People asssuming I have and EASY JOB 2) Parents that tell me they never wanted children in the first place and it shows 3) Parents that are not honest.

Things I don't like. Feeling like I can never take a day off. Not being paid, winning the case in small claims court and still not being paid. Parents who don't respect us. Example: A parent who showed up 3 hours late and told me it was my fault because I had the kids outside when she called and got the message machine. She didn't leave a message. She said I should have a cell phone. Example: a parent who said "You have to much protein in your dirt and it won't come out of my child's clothes" She wanted to dress her child in party clothes everyday and didn't want her to go outside to play because she would get dirty.
Looking for an occasional babysitter for our twins who are now 8 weeks old (would not start for a couple weeks, just want to get to know the person first). We are not looking for a nanny, just someone who can come to our home every once in a while for a date night or for us to run errands. The ideal candidate is kind, trustworthy and organized. Experience with young infants is a MUST, and preemie experience would be a plus considering they still have some preemie tendencies (stop breathing while taking a bottle occasionally). CPR certified would be great, if not we would be glad to teach you! We do have a dog and cats so you have to be okay with animals, however no animal care is needed other than letting the dog outside every once in a while to potty. We are young parents, so please make sure you don't have issues with that before you email us.

If you're interested and would like to be considered, please email us including your pay requirements. We would love to do a few trial runs to see how it goes.

Thank you!

Hi there! Thank you for checking my ad out. I am looking at watching 3 to 4 children in my home. I am an experienced preschool teacher with over 14 years experience including numerous training programs and current CPR & First Aid as well as completion of the state offered Tennessee Early Childhood Training Alliance program. I am very knowledgeable when it comes to DHS rules and regulations. I love working in the preschool setting, but I want to be able to focus my attention on individual care. I have worked with all ages, but my favorite ages and the ages where most of my experience lies is with infants and toddlers. I'd like to start out watching 3 or 4 infants and grow with them through preschool age. I will provide a daily report to you letting you know about your child's day (diaper changes, feeding times, what we did, songs we sing, nap times, etc etc etc). Developmentally appropriate activities will be planned for your child each day. Once your child is older, I will include weekly/monthly lesson plans and an age appropriate curriculum. My prices range from $100 to $125 a week with part-time pricing and per day pricing available. That will include 2 snacks/day and juice/milk for older infants/toddlers. There is $25/family registration fee. I have EXCELLENT references from my current and former employers, including the owner of one of Williamson County's top preschools and I have a current DHS background check. I am super organized and maintain a clean home. Please email me for further information. I hope to hear from you soon.
Hello, I am a Mom/Child Care Provider , who has opened her home to three wonderful little children who I adore and care for as if they were my own. We are a silly house that keeps the days filled with fun, imagination and as many hugs as I can squeeze in. Don't get the wrong idea I am structured where it counts like naps and meal times. We do have learning time with flash cards and music. We enjoy books and PBS kids. Child friendly meals, with fresh fruits and veggies/ milk and 100% juice. I have a great play room and back yard with toys as well but the children are allowed to play freely in my home, As long as they are safe and treating each other with love and kindness its a good day! I am firm but loving, I pride myself with having a home that is clean, healthy, and that focuses on the needs of the children who's parents have trusted to be in my care, same as I would expect for my own children. These are members of my extended family. I would like to offer my last open position to a parent with a child who is ready to enjoy the company of other children. Ideally I am looking for a child who is ready for learning, fun & friendly to other children, who is social and can adjust to being away from mommy and daddy and into a positive home enviornment. I know how hard it is to find a great place to leave your child, some "Traditional day care centers" are too big and offer no bonding between care giver and child and some "In home centers" arent committed /dedicated to their responsibilities. This is my professional business and I treat it as such. I am reliable and respectful. CPR and First aid certified / Clean background/ Non smoker /Tax forms provided. I am committed to the families I have and I am looking for a great family who will appreciate what I have to offer their child. If you are a parent who is looking for care for a small child between 2 1/2-3 1/2 (preferably) and think we are a good fit I would like to meet with you and your little one, serious interests please, don't schedule a meeting and not show.
No care provided after 5 PM or on weekends :(

***Breakfast, Lunch & 2 Snacks, Drinks included***
One full time opening $125 Weekly

I do not offer part time or temporary child care, but I would be willing to speak with you if you are in immediate need of child care to see if we could find a way to make care in my home and your schedule fit with my openings!

Alison Leneski
(615)568-8989
(615)302-8311

MARRIED, MOTHER OF THREE

CONTACT ME ANYTIME!!!!!
I AM ALWAYS AVAILABLE FOR MY DAYCARE PARENTS

As well as being available for my daycare parents night and day, I am always willing to speak with people seeking daycare, regardless of whether I have an opening.

Choosing a preschool and child care can be overwhelming! Many child care providers claim to offer a preschool program. But do they really? Did you know that most providers offer a prepackaged curriculum that does no meet the needs of most children? Many tmes these prepackaged curriculum are nothing more than worksheets, coloring pages, and meaningless crafts. Come take a tour, or give me a call, and let me SHOW you, or talk to you about how important an educational and literacy rich environment is in early childhood education!

We have many, many areas of learning for your child in our home! Our center features kitchen and eating areas, art, writing, playdough areas, manipulatives (table toys), computer lab, reading center, dramatic play, puzzle center, science enter, block center, cutting center, and a music center, and a treehouse/loft - all of which are in a "daycare only area" - our family has a private residence in another area of the house.

What is at the core of every quality kindergarten program? A Literacy Rich Environment!!!!

THESE ARE SOME OF THE "EXTRAS" WE FEEL THAT WE OFFER THAT OTHERS MAY NOT!

HERE AT OUR HOME, YOUR CHILDREN DO NOT SPEND THE DAY IN OUR LIVING ROOM, OR IN OUR DINING ROOM, AMONG OUR CHERISHED BELONGINGS WHERE THEY ARE CONSTANTLY TOLD "NO" OR "STOP", OR "DON'T TOUCH".

HERE, THEY HAVE A "KIDS ONLY SUITE" OF ROOMS INCLUDING A "LUNCH" ROOM FOR SNACKS AND MEALS, FOOD PREP AREA,, PLAY ROOM, THEIR OWN "VERY" CLEAN BATHROOM, THE BABIES HAVE A ROOM WITH PLAYPENS TO THEMSELVES IF THEY NEED TO SLEEP ON THEIR OWN SCHEDULE SO THEY WONT BE INTERUPPTED BY OTHER CHILDREN AT PLAY (AND THE OTHER WAY AROUND AS WELL) AND PLENTY OF DIFFERENT PLAY CENTERS TO STIMULATE IMAGINATION, SET UP IN A ORDERLY MANNER, NOT JUST "TOYS IN A TOY BOX."
WE HAVE MANY OTHER CENTERS AS WELL, INCLUDING TWO DIFFERENT KINDS OF BLOCKS, FARM ANIMALS, KITCHEN CENTER, TRANSPORTATION, PUZZLES, BOOKS, ALL OF WHICH ARE WITHIN THE CHILDREN'S REACH, AS LONG AS SAFETY PERMITS FOR ALL AGE LEVELS.

We know life is hectic with little ones, and trying to get up and to work is hard enough just getting yourself ready!!!! Miss Alison does well some mornings to get herself ready and into the living room, much less across town!!! Because we remember what it was like in the "real world" - we encourage parents to make it as easy on themselves as possible. Leave those babies in their pajamas, throw them in their carseats, hand them a cup of milk, throw their clothes in thier bag, and drive 'em on over. We'll take care of the rest. When you pick them up, they'll be dressed, fed, hair fixed, teeth brushed, and clean. We promise. Don't worry. But if you do, call and check as many times as you like. We don't mind.

We also know that many parents don't have "extended" family to babysit for date nights with thier spouses, or that some parents may not have spouses so that they can just run to the store without all of tiny town with them. We are happy to babysit on scheduled days, after hours, at our house or yours.

We are also aware that in today's hectic lifestyle with all the activities we have for everyone, sometimes we don't always have time for a decent meal. While we don't provide dinner here, if you would like to bring your child something for dinner, we will be more than glad to feed them if you're going to be "on the run" after they are picked up, so you won't have to be "running" with a whiny, hungry child, or have to feed them unhealthy fast food.

Here at our childcare, we will do whatever we CAN to make it easier for YOU to maintain a normal lifestyle while working, and raising a child, yet not make it seem like your child is in daycare. I want you to feel like you are dropping your child off at a friend's house every morning!!!!

Hi parents! My name is Michelle and I am 19. I attend college in Franklin and I am majoring in Early Childhood Education. I live near Concord Road in Brentwood and willl travel arouond 15 miles from my home. I am looking for a Full time nanny job during the summer that could possibly continue full time or part time in the fall. I am interested in working with younger children, especially if the position will continue into the fall (I will be working with birth to age 6 for my major). I will finish up with this semester on April 30th. I usually charge $10 an hour for 1 or 2 children and $12 an hour for 3 or more. I have been babysitting since I was 11 and have nannied for several different families. I work in my Church Nursery every Sunday with children birth to age 3 and have for several years. I am very experienced with special needs children as well. I volunteered at the YMCA Full Circle Camp for children with disabilities for 2 summers. I babysit for families from my church on a regular basis as well as for people off of babysitting sites. I am NOT the kind of nanny/sitter that will sit your kids in front of the TV all day. I LOVE to get out and do fun activities with the kids. In the summer, there are plenty of options. Such as the zoo, pool, park, or on rainy days adventure science center, and we can always go to the library for storytime! I have a few friends that nanny or babysit frequently so with permission I could always arrange playdates too! I have my own reliable transportation and am very familiar with how to install carseats.

I have received many replies, but I am looking for something full time (30-40 hours a week) this summer that may or may not continue this fall. I am not looking for just an occasional babysitting job.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Thanks!
Michelle

Thank you so much, and I hope to hear from you!
