Walking distance to Five Points, Sweet 16th, Rosepepper, and Shelby Park. We are a mid-30’s female (I own the house and live upstairs with separate bath) and late-20’s male (who lives downstairs adjacent to the available room and shared bath). We live an eco-friendly lifestyle (garden, compost, recycling) and love East Nashville. The room available is 12 x 12 on the southern elevation of the house. There is a door separating the two downstairs bedrooms from the rest of the living space, providing great privacy. Shared spaces include: living room with working fireplace; kitchen with dishwasher; dry basement with laundry and storage; back deck with grill and large, fenced backyard. We have one cat and one small dog. (Small pets to be considered.) Utilities to be split evenly. Cable, wireless internet, and phone can be shared, if desired. Yard care duties to be shared. The available room is spacious with a LARGE closet. Shared bathroom, living room, and kitchen. House has front porch and a small deck behind the kitchen. The neighbors in the other half of the duplex are very nice and around my age. There is one guy and one girl, and the girl's boyfriend has been living with her. I just want someone that I can trust and will take care of my house and wont have a bunch of people over that I don't know and pay rent on time. My house is about 1500sf built in 02, on a great lot with a deck, nice yard and creek in the back.. only 15 min from downtown, Opryland and about 20 min to airport. Pretty big yard, would love some help with the yard but not required. The master bedroom/full bathroom downstairs is the room available has two big closets.. there is a bed and dresser in the room now. I can move it out if you don't need to use it. My room is upstairs. I have a washer/dryer.. I have lots of stuff and furniture.. so the less stuff you have the better.. I have three wonderful dogs (my kids really) 2 Maltese, one is 6 lbs and the other one is 10 lbs. one Yorkie about 5lbs. I keep them very clean and groomed. I have a place they stay when I am gone and they stay with me upstairs when I am home. I don't expect you to take care of my dogs in any way just don't be mean to them. They do bark sometimes especially when I get home. I try to keep them quiet but sometimes you just have to let them get it out! So if little dogs bother you this may not be the right place for you. I don't want any other pets. I work 5 days a week mostly 10 am to about 7 when I get home all I want is peace and quiet.. I stay to myself most of the time. I keep my house clean at all times it is never messy at all. I don't cook much at all (well heat up my frozen dinner in the micro and make my coffee).. don't care if you cook as long as there is never dirty dishes or a mess left for me to clean up.. I have Comcast cable/Internet & wireless.. All utilities included in the $500.00 but food is not. $250.00 deposit, will work with you on the deposit if needed.
