Looking for a partner for this project and nothing more. Can offer a few hundred bucks up front and that is it. You'll have to take the risk that myself and my other partners have taken thus far. We're confident that once finished this will be financially rewarding. So: I need 200 hours of Mini-dv tapes converted to a harddrive. I have 2 TB of Harddrive space and would welcome storage from the editor too. The film was shot using xl2's and one panasonic camera that shot maybe 1/4 of the film... I'm looking to bring in another partner for this project. I already have secured distribution for a soundtrack as well as a DVD release in stores. I was able to secure that based on current, established relationships in the music business. It's a documentary on California country music. It was shot on the west coast and features performance and interviews. The performances (audio) were multi-tracked digitally. The files are secure in Los Angeles at the present time. Billy Bob Thornton gave an hour interview to the project plus extra footage shot in his recording studio. Dwight Yoakam did the same. The rest of the film and the main purpose is to promote and capture the indie country-rock scene in primarily Los Angeles at the time this was shot (two-three years ago). Really looking for someone who can work on this out of their home and can dedicate a solid week or two initially to the editing of this film. As I said above, I am looking to make an editor a partner in the project. You'll get royalties from the DVD sales. In addition to both being sold in stores and online...the artists in the film will also be selling both at their personal appearances. Not able to pay anybody anything upfront. You'll have to take the risk like I have with a payday coming when the film is released. An agreement between the two of us will be signed. ]]>

We will be filming a new "combative motorsports" event on Friday, September 10 near downtown Nashville. <![CDATA[JOB OBJECTIVE: Provide operations and engineering support for network origination to the NorthStar Studios Network Operations Center (NOC) and Earth Station and take a lead role in NOC technical operations. PRIMARY DUTIES AND TASKS: 1. Monitor the status of network content management, play out and transmission equipment to insure that it is functioning correctly. Coordinate emergency and preventive maintenance with maintenance engineering. 2. As requested by network origination clients, manage the authorization of affiliate satellite receivers and related databases. Insure that all network origination data is regularly archived and backed up. 3. Setup, operate and manage resources for recurring and ad hoc satellite and fiber transmission and content acquisition. Complete all documentation related to these activities. 4. Monitor the status of all core NOC and Earth Station equipment to insure its proper function, configuration and readiness. Coordinate emergency and preventive maintenance with NOC and RF engineering. 5. Work with other NOC personnel to quickly and efficiently resolve technical and equipment configuration issues as they arise. 6. Work closely with the Manager of Network Operations to develop and maintain current Standard Operating Procedures related to the technical setup and operation of and problem resolution of technical problems with all NOC equipment. 7. Train all Network Operations Engineers or engineers working Network Operations Engineer shifts in all aspect of their job. Periodically test and evaluate their performance. 8. Create a weekly schedule to insure coverage of the Network Operating Engineer responsibilities 24-hours a day or as required and as approved by the VP of Engineering and Operations. 9. Insure that all Network Operations Center technical documentation including, but not limited to system block diagrams, interconnection, layout and signal flow drawings and equipment manuals and documentation, is properly maintained and up to date in both physical and electronic form. 10. Insure that all maintenance and support agreements for NOC equipment are current and active. Prepare annual budget for equipment maintenance and support for the VP of Engineering and Operations. 11. Insure that all equipment designated for disaster recovery support for CBN and other DR clients is ready for service and can be rapidly setup and made operational through preset configurations. 12. Insure that the technical aspects of all disaster recovery Standard Operating Procedures are correct and current and that Network Operations Engineers are trained in their role in DR support. SECONDARY DUTIES AND TASKS: 1. As available, assist with NOC tasks such as content ingest, duplication, return feed monitoring and related tasks. 2. Perform other work as required and as directed by the immediate supervisor or other appropriate authority. 3. Integrate new equipment and/or re-configure existing equipment for new projects. OCCASSIONAL DUTIES AND TASKS: 1. Operate equipment for duplication, production and/or post production. 2. Attend training and technical briefings to maintain knowledge for job. 3.
