Multitudes of people in the valley of indecision and your critical need to settle out of court… There is a great tidal wave of deception that is sweeping through not only our government , primarily on the federal level, but also through the Church, and in every single denomination (Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Catholic, Mormons, Jehovah Wittiness , and so fourth). As I have read the Bible every single day and for many years now, I submit to you that I personally have not found one reference to a particular denomination in all of the Bible. The premise here is “NOT” that I promote non-denominationalism, for that too has been tainted (anything short of sound Biblical doctrine) with all the others, some more so, and some more seriously so! The point here is some denominations are right out heresy, while others have been infiltrated by what the Bible calls “wolves in sheep’s clothing, bringing about destructive heresies and doctrines of devils and demons. Where there is truth, the lies always seem to show up as well. There are true Pastors, and true Christians in many various denominations, but they will be the first to tell you, if they are in submission to sound doctrine, that they must be vigilantly on guard for these demonic lies, agenda’s, movements, etc.. Thank God for those standing for the faith that was once delivered to the saints. Thank God that there are doctrinally sound pastor’s, leaders, and Christians in different denominations submitting to the Bible alone. Having said that, I still do not, have not, seen anything that even suggests denominations in the Bible, but Christians DO need to meet somewhere. May Christians promote truth and not their denominational titles. My intent is not to dispute denominationalism , but rather and hopefully, convey to the reader what is really at stake……………………………their soul … (IF they have never made their peace with the Lord God, and on the authority of the Bible alone)! I would hope that when you read this entire short article, that you read it with all pieces “IN CONTEXT” to the overall theme. Before I proceed with my original intent let me stimulate your reasoning pertaining to the reliability and authority of the Bible. The following is by no means exhausted but will give the truth seeker something creditable to ponder. Substantiating evidence for the reliability and authority of the Bible is found in the diversity of the various ethnic groups, cultures, animal life, insect life, plant life, geographical locations, the elements of nature, the four seasons, the law of planting and reaping, the complexities of the endless spans of the universe. You will find predictable outcomes to most if not all of the mentioned to some degree or another. All of this shows order, providence, love and care by a loving God and of course, points to a magnificent creator. More evidence validating the reliability and authority of the Bible is found in the theater of your own mind. Is it not true that your own conscious condemns you so much of the time? Yes, there are folks that have believed a lie for so long that their conscious has been as the Bible calls it, “seared with a hot iron”. How do you explain those dark evil and repulsive thoughts found in the theater of your own mind… so twisted and disgusting that even a part of you is repulsed? When the Bible has stated that all have sinned and that you came out of your Mammies’ womb in sin, your own conscious bears witness against you, as does the Lord God of the Bible. Evidence in Biblical archeological discoveries. Spend a little time reading through some of the many findings. Simply research “Biblical archeological discoveries” Evidence is found in history written in advance, in other words, Bible prophecy… Just one example of this in terms which most will be able to clearly see is found in Revelation chapter 13 verses 16 through 18 which foretell of a coming global dictator whom is called antichrist. Although there “is” currently a spirit of antichrist present at this very moment, there will be the point to where it reaches it’s crescendo in the devil incarnate through a man the Bible calls 666 or antichrist. This abominable coming antichrist shall deceive the masses and will cause “ALL” to receive a mark or the number of his name. Without this mark or number you will not be able to buy nor sell anything! I submit to you folks that this one world political leader and system, this one world economical, and the coming of a one world false religious system will not just suddenly pounce on the scene like hitting a light switch. The Bible declares in the book of Proverbs that the beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord. Where there is no authentic fear, reverence, and a clean broken life in words and in deeds before the Lord God, then there is no wisdom other than man’s folly which seems right but for only a season. Without God given true wisdom you will inevitably believe a lie. You will not only believe a lie, you will be a lie… this is the case right now for most! When you begin to understand the Biblical record of what’s coming in this regards, as well as taking a careful look at what is happening on many fronts concerning current world events, then you will realize just how far spent the night really is… We are at a critical point of no return as a nation, and as the nations of the world! Originally reported by John Carney over at the Business Insider website, Citigroup is sending the following information to customers along with their bank statements. “Effective April 1, 2010, we reserve the right to require (7) days advance notice before permitting a withdrawal from all checking accounts. While we do not currently exercise this right and have not exercised it in the past, we are required by law to notify you of this change.” An almost identical advisory to the one being sent out can be read on page 22 of Citbank’s Client Manual effective January 1, 2010, which can be read here from Citibank’s own website. “We reserve the right to require seven (7) days advance notice before permitting a withdrawal from all checking, savings and money market accounts. We currently do not exercise this right and have not exercised it in the past,” states the manual. According to the Future of Capitalism blog, Citigroup originally claimed that the warning was only sent nationwide as a result of a mistake, but that the measures do apply to account holders in Texas. However, in a statement, Citigroup confirmed that they had reserved the right to impose the new 7 day rule on all account holders nationwide, but claimed they had no plans to enforce it. The bank stated that they had been forced to enact the new policy as a result of federal regulations. “When Citibank moved to unlimited FDIC coverage in 2009, we had to reclassify many checking accounts to allow for immediate withdrawals in order to ensure all customers qualified for the additional coverage. When we moved back to standard FDIC coverage with most major banks in 2010, Citibank decided to reclassify those accounts back to make them eligible again for promotional incentives. To do so, Federal Reserve Reg D requires these accounts, called NOW accounts, to reserve the right to require a 7-day notice of withdrawal. We recently communicated this technical requirement to our customers. However, we have never exercised this right and have no plans to do so in the future,” reads a statement released by the bank. Over the last 18 months, numerous rumors of bank runs, “bank holidays,” and limitations on access to cash at ATM’s have been floating around. For many years TBN has been dominated by faith-healers, full-time fund-raisers, and self-proclaimed prophets spewing heresy. I wrote about the false gospel they proclaim and the phony miracles they pretend to do almost two decades ago in Charismatic Chaos (Grand Rapids: Zondervan, 1992. See especially chapter 12). I had my fill of charismatic televangelism while researching that book, and I can hardly bear to watch it any more. Recently, however, while recovering from knee-replacement surgery, I decided to sample some of the current fare on TBN. From a therapeutic point of view it seemed a good choice: something more excruciating than the pain in my leg might distract me from the physical suffering of post-surgical trauma. And I suppose on that basis the strategy was effective. But it left me outraged and frustrated—and eager to challenge the misperceptions in the minds of millions of unbelievers who see these false teachers masquerading as ministers of Christ on TBN. I'm outraged at the brazen way so many false teachers twist the message of Scripture in Jesus' name. And I'm frustrated because I'm certain that if these charlatans were not receiving a large proportion of their financial support from sincere believers (and silent acquiescence from Christian leaders who surely know better), they would have no platform for their shenanigans. They would soon lose their core constituency and fade from the scene. Instead, religious quacks are actually multiplying at a frightening pace. One thing I discovered to my immense displeasure is that TBN is by no means the only religious network broadcasting poisonous false doctrine around the clock. The channel lineup I receive includes at least seven other channels whose schedules are filled with false teachers and charlatans. There's The Church Channel, Daystar, GodTV, World Harvest Television (LeSEA), Total Christian Television, and several others. Some of them feature blocs of family television programing and a few fairly sound teachers who provide moments of escape from the prosperity preachers. But all of them give prominence to enormous amounts of heresy and religious claptrap—enough to make them positively dangerous. And TBN is singularly responsible for kicking that door open so wide. The continued growth and influence of TBN is baffling for a number of reasons, not the least of which is the thick aura of lust, greed, and other kinds of moral impropriety that surrounds the whole enterprise. A long string of scandals involving notable charismatic televangelists between 1988 and 1992 should have been sufficient reason for even the most credulous viewers to scrutinize the entire industry with skepticism. First came the international spectacle of Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker's moral, marital, and financial collapse. That was followed closely by the revelation of Jimmy Swaggart's repeated dalliances with prostitutes. Shortly afterward, an episode of ABC's Primetime Live exposed clear examples of deliberate fraud on the part of three more leading charismatic televangelists. Those incidents were punctuated by a score of lesser scandals over several years' time. It is clear (or should be)—based on empirical evidence alone—that preachers promising miracles in exchange for money are not to be trusted. And for anyone who simply bothers to compare Jesus' teaching with the health-and-wealth message, it is clear that the message that currently dominates religious television is "a different gospel; which is really not another" (Galatians 1:6-7), but a damnable lie. TBN is by far the leading perpetrator of that lie worldwide. Virtually all the network's main celebrities tell listeners that God will give them healing, wealth, and other material blessings in return for their money. On program after program people are urged to "plant a seed" by sending "the largest bill you have or the biggest check you can write" with the promise that God will miraculously make them rich in return. That same message dominates all of TBN's major fundraising drives. It's known as the "seed faith" plan, so-called by Oral Roberts, who set the pattern for most of the charismatic televangelists who have followed the trail he blazed. Paul Crouch, founder, chairman, and commander-in-chief of TBN, is one of the doctrine's staunchest defenders. The only people who actually get rich by this scheme, of course, are the televangelists. Their people who send money get little in return but phony promises—and as a result, many of them turn away from the truth completely. If the scheme seems reminiscent of Tetzel, that's because it is precisely the same doctrine. (Tetzel was a medieval monk whose high-pressure selling of indulgences—phony promises of forgiveness—outraged Martin Luther and touched off the Protestant Reformation.) Like Tetzel, TBN preys on the poor and plies them with false promises. Yet what is happening daily on TBN is many times worse than the abuses that Luther decried because it is more widespread and more flagrant. The medium is more high-tech and the amounts bilked out of viewers' pockets are astronomically higher. (By most estimates, TBN is worth more than a billion dollars and rakes in $200 million annually. Those are direct contributions to the network, not counting millions more in donations sent directly to TBN broadcasters.) Like Tetzel on steroids, the Crouches and virtually all the key broadcasters on TBN live in garish opulence, while constantly begging their needy viewers for more money. Elderly, poor, and working-class viewers constitute TBN's primary demographic. And TBN's fundraisers all know that. The most desperate people—"unemployed," "even though I'm in between jobs," "trying to make it; trying to survive," "broke"—are baited with false promises to give what they do not even have. Jan Crouch addresses viewers as "you little people," and suggests that they send their grocery money to TBN "to assure God's blessing." Thus TBN devours the poor while making the charlatans rich. God cursed false prophets in the Old Testament for that very thing (Jeremiah 6:13-15). It's also one of the main reasons the Pharisees incurred Jesus' condemnation (Luke 20:46-47). It's hard to think of any sin more evil. It not only hurts people materially; it deludes them with groundless hope, deceives them with a false gospel, and thereby places their souls in eternal peril. And yet those who do it pretend they are doing the work of God. That's not all. Almost no false prophecy, erroneous doctrine, rank superstition, or silly claim is too outlandish to receive airtime on TBN. Jan Crouch tearfully gives a fanciful account of how her pet chicken was miraculously raised from the dead. Benny Hinn trumps that claim with a bizarre prophecy that if TBN viewers will put their dead loved ones' caskets in front of television set and touch the dead person's hand to the screen, people will "be raised from the dead . . . by the thousands." Ironically, one doesn't even need to be an orthodox Trinitarian in order to broadcast on the Trinity network. Bishop T. D. Jakes, well known for his rejection of the Nicene creed in favor of oneness Pentecostalism, is a staple on TBN. Benny Hinn has repeatedly attempted to revise the doctrine of the Trinity in novel ways, notoriously teaching at one point that there are nine persons in the godhead. And yet evangelical church leaders typically show a kind of benign tolerance toward the whole enterprise. Most would never endorse it, of course. They may joke about the gaudiness of the big hair and tawdry set decorations on TBN. Ask them, and they will most likely acknowledge that the prosperity gospel is no gospel at all. Press the issue, and you will probably get them to admit that it is a dangerous form of false doctrine, totally unbiblical, and essentially anti-Christian. Why, then, is there no large-scale effort among Bible-believing evangelicals to expose, denounce, refute, and silence these false teachers? After all, that is what Scripture commands church leaders to do when we encounter purveyors of soul-destroying substitutes for the true gospel: The overseer must be above reproach as God's steward, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not addicted to wine, not pugnacious, not fond of sordid gain, but hospitable, loving what is good, sensible, just, devout, self-controlled, holding fast the faithful word which is in accordance with the teaching, so that he will be able both to exhort in sound doctrine and to refute those who contradict. For there are many rebellious men, empty talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, who must be silenced because they are upsetting whole families, teaching things they should not teach for the sake of sordid gain (Titus 1:7-11). Those who remain silent in the face of such grotesque lies may in fact be partly responsible for turning people away from the truth. Consider the testimony of William Lobdell, religion reporter for the Los Angeles Times, who once considered himself a devout evangelical Christian, but after doing a series of investigative reports on the moral and doctrinal cesspool at TBN; then "finding that his investigative stories about faith healer Benny Hinn and televangelists Jan and Paul Crouch appear to make no difference on the reach of these ministries or the lives of their followers, he [gave] up on the beat and on religion generally." All those who truly love Christ and care about the truth have a solemn duty to defend the truth by exposing and opposing these lies that masquerade as truth. If we fail in that duty because of indifference, apathy, or a craving for the approval of men, we are no less guilty than those who actively spread the lies. Coworkers — almost casually! — remark that a government spy agency is involved, that similar facilities are being built across the country, that some of them are stamped with the government's ominous eye-and-pyramid "Total Information Awareness" logo. (John 3:16) Are you going to believe books that declare how great WE are, or how great GOD is? God is LOVE. Love is REAL, but so is the DEVIL. Why? Why is it easier for people to believe in God than the Devil? I ask you this, is there more EVIL in the world or more GOOD? Just read the news and that answer is obvious for those who are paying attention. Is mankind becoming LESS depraved, sensual, and violent or MORE? So I ask you plainly, are we going UP or DOWN as a nation? Obviously we are heading down at a VERY rapid rate and GOD is NOT to BLAME. How do you “prove” to someone that you love them? If you love them and are committed you don’t “mess around” with anyone else. You respect them and shower them with affection and gifts, right? So you make CHOICES that PROVE that you love them. You “play” by the “rules”. So in a spiritual sense we also must make choices that prove our love to God. So then if there isn’t any OTHER CHOICE we wouldn’t have any “way” to prove our love and commitment to the Lord. But there is a choice, isn’t there. Every time you turn on your computer, you have a choice. Every time you walk into a liquor store intent on getting drunk, you have a choice. When the “dealer” offers you a little “taste”, you have a choice. Yes men (and women) are inherently evil but there is SOMEONE out there with a whole army of evil beings, helping them along in their choices. There is a BALANCE to nature (all the way down to atoms), to the world, our solar system and even our galaxy. There are OPPOSING FORCES that keep everything in CHECK otherwise life itself wouldn’t even be possible. The Devil (and his forces) are that “balance” on the evil side of the scale. Make NO mistake though. Satan is no “match” for God. Satan is a “created being” and does not have the POWER that God has. You might be surprised to know that Satan’s power is very LIMITED and MONITORED (in some respects) by God. (1st Corinthians 10:13). I don’t have time to go into all of that right now but in “essence” you could say that Satan “works” for God as the OTHER CHOICE. There would be no way we could prove our love to the Father if we didn’t have some “tasty treats” out there to choose from. Sin is pleasurable for a season. If it wasn’t ENTICING then it wouldn’t be a fair fight. But as the Bible states, and as I can testify from countless personal experiences, sin has its CONSEQUENCES. Yes it feels good for a while. Yes it’s “fun” for a while but then it gets old and you’re off trying to get that “feeling” again. That’s the Devils job in a nutshell. To keep you running, keep you chasing that next “rush” or romance or career. His job is simply to keep you so busy focusing in on yourself that you never even think about God. Satan’s grand plan (and it’s working pretty well) is to convince people that he does not EXIST. If there’s no Devil, then there’s no hell and I can live ANY WAY I want and there won’t be any consequences for “my actions”. That CHOICE has filled up our prisons to overflowing. That CHOICE has sexually transmitted diseases killing millions every year. That CHOICE has people up to their eyeballs in debt juggling their finances. That CHOICE has stripped God and the Bible from this nation’s mind and focused it on themselves. That CHOICE is robbing people of their ETERNAL SALVATION and condemning their souls to hell. That one gets most people. “How can a God of love send anyone to hell? God doesn’t “send” anyone to hell. You MAKE the CHOICE to be there. God has PROVIDED the WAY for you to escape hell. Even right now the Devil is whispering in your ear that this is a bunch of nonsense. Nobody believes that stuff anymore, right? Wrong. Gods WORD stands FOREVER and the judgment against Satan has already been set. He will burn in the LAKE of FIRE, forever and he KNOWS THAT. He wants to take as many people WITH HIM as he can before the end. And I’m here to tell you plainly that the end is much closer than you might think. Over 250,000 people die EVERYDAY, worldwide. Every second, 3 people die. By the time you read this over 900 people will have passed from this LIFE to the NEXT. Young, old, black, or white it doesn’t matter. Everyone dies. Some a lot sooner than they should because of the CHOICES they made. I know that not many will receive this. The Bible even confirms that fact. <h4> "Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to (eternal) life, and there are few who find it. Matt 7:13-14</h4> It is YOUR CHOICE. It is NOT a coincidence that I WROTE this or that you READ it. God is reaching out to you. He is extending you a hand from heaven to save you from everlasting torment. In the book of John chapter 3, a very religious and devout man who was a teacher and a preacher in Jerusalem confronted Jesus. He KNEW that Jesus was from God by the WAY He talked and the MIRACLES He did. So he came to him (at night) and asked Him how to get to heaven and Jesus said: <h4> "I can guarantee this truth: No one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. "Do not be amazed that I said to you, 'You must be Born Again.' </h4> Many people get “tripped up” about this phrase “born again”. It simply means that you’ve put your FAITH in God and TRUST in Jesus that He died for your sins on the cross and that the righteous demands of God are now satisfied on your behalf. After you accept Christ as your Savior, God then EMPOWERS you with His Holy Spirit to walk a new “born again life”. It’s not complicated. There’s no “special” ceremony. You can do “it” sitting right there at your computer. If you mean it from your heart and want the promise of heaven when you die and are willing to surrender your life to Him, then pray this simple prayer and God will SAVE you. Heavenly Father, I know that I’m not right with You and that I’ve made many bad choices. I want a new life and the power to live it right. I want You in my life today. I believe that You sent Jesus to pay for my sin and I accept Him as my personal Lord and Savior. Jesus I give you my life and ask you into my heart. Lead me where You want me to go. Show me what You want me to do. I pray in Your Holy Name. Amen. If you just prayed that prayer I want to be the first to welcome you into the family of God. You need to get a Bible and start reading it. Start with the New Testament (the Book of John is a good place to start) and then the other letters. You may not understand it but ask God by faith to teach you about His Son and He will. Find yourself a good Bible teaching church that teaches the WHOLE Bible from Genesis to Revelation.
