You will help in day to day clerical tasks, but would have access to numerous conference calls, publications and special events. This opportunity will give you the chance to learn through observation, while working with all levels of our staff – admin, research, business development. You will generally support the Office of the President. Your responsibilities can vary daily and will include, but are not limited to: general administrative tasks, answering phones, running errands outside of the office, occasional research projects, occasional proofreading, database maintenance/data entry, special projects as they arise. You will have excellent writing and interpersonal skills, as you will be interacting frequently with members of our research team, as well as clients and/or members of the media. Strong organizational capabilities are also required, and an interest/background in international politics is preferred. BA in political science or a relevant field is preferred, but not required. Work experience in a related field is a plus. We are seeking students who are currently matriculated in an undergraduate or graduate school program and who will be completing the internship for school credit. This internship is unpaid.
