There was a time when I was using it quite regularly, and it never gave me any sort of problems. I'm leaving the city soon, and would need to sell this within the next two days. The AX1000G's 56 types of modeling effects cover numerous vintage compressor, overdrive, distortion, echo, reverb, and wah units that are expensive and difficult to obtain. Numerous simulations are provided, including the fat sound of tube amps, the raucous fuzz sound of the '70s, and the metallic distortion of the '90s. In the drive-amp section, "REMS" supports the hybrid gain structure developed by KORG. <![CDATA[Gotta get rid of my trusty GK microbass amp. I prefer the sound with my AI head and I want to use a small speaker with it, rather than use the GK. I've had this GK for about ten years and it still sounds great after all this time. I'm primarily an upright jazz bass player and prefer a natural acoustic sound, so whenever I used this amp I only used to for a little bit of extra boost. As a result of being babied for so long it is still going strong and has retained the powerful, bass-y GK sound. Unfortunately only the bass knob is a little loose and I haven't figured out how to fix it. The volume cuts out a little bit, the sound is still there it's just much softer. It's only noticeable when you're turning the knob, after some adjustments it sounds fine. If you know how to fix it then you'll be in business with a solid GK amp. <![CDATA[I saved this Gibson Mandolin A-Jr (Serial 70966) from my parents attic where it had been sitting for years and had sustained splitting as a result of temperature fluctuations. I took it to the experts at Mandolin Bros on Staten Island, NY (reciept provided) where they did a remarkable restoration, making this an imminently playable mandolin with ALL ORIGINAL hardware and case - indeed, they offered to buy it from me, but I declined hoping I would take to the instrument, but I am more in love with buying a Martin and feel strongly that an instrument like this needs to be played or adored by a more worthy owner. You will see in the picture that a fracture on the top of the body was healed together, as were separations around the sides. They kept the mandolin in their humidifier for 8 months as the wood regained it's flexibility and was able to be set in place. There was never any damage, splitting or other to the neck or headstock. This mandolin has no truss rod - it is tension based. It is set up and plays beautifully with minimal fret wear. There is some peeling of the varnish around the bridge. All in all, this guitar looks its age but is ready to sing well into the 21st century. I will consider trade for Martin of equal value. Original hard shell case.]]>

<![CDATA[ This synth is about 10 years old , but is still very current musically, and in fact is sought after. It's definitely the kind of synth that could become collectible in another 10 years. It has many features that go beyond the standard ones found on a synth in this price range, such as an arppeggiater, assignable ribbon controller, oscillator sync, and sophisticated cross modulation functions. It is based on Rolands' Analog Modeling Synthesis, and it has that warm fat analog sound even though it's digital and has all the conveniences of a digital synth. It also has lots of real time control with numerous sliders and knobs- this is really the best of both the analog and digital worlds! The sonic quality is amazing, with some killer preset sounds, including the best electric guitar sound I've ever heard from a synth. With the pitch bend lever, it really sounds like you're bending a guitar string with this sound! In fact there are a lot of great synth lead sounds too. It has been used extensively in techno and electronic dance music, but is really great for anything- I've used it a lot in rock and it would be excellent for film scoring too. It in excellant condition, as you can see from the photos, and everything works 100%. The case is in great shape too and will protect your synth well - very good to have if you're gigging or travelng with it at all. <![CDATA[Gitano Acoustic-Electric Guitar - Solid Spruce Top and Solid Rosewood Back and Sides, $250 or Best Offer. This is a very-good*-, very-playable-condition used acoustic-electric dreadnought with cutaway and 3-Band EQ and Presence and Volume controls. made of all solid woods -- solid spruce top, and rosewood back and sides. As you may or may not know, solid woods are a premium feature, as they produce a deeper, richer sound that you just can't get with laminates. Rosewood in itself is a premium feature. Nice low action, great sound, end pin doubles as output jack. Now, the reason for the asterisk - this guitar was dropped in shipping on its way to me. It's a long story, but when I bought it, it was mis-directed, and made two trips up and down the East coast. On one of those trips, my luck ran out, and when I finally got it, it had a long crack in the side running from both sides of the EQ. (See my Flick picture set.) I clamped (using an $8 clamp from Home Depot) and re-glued the crack, it's sturdy now. In the very-unlikely event it should split open, it really is an inexpensive fix, under $10. But I've done the work for you. And it sounds as full and rich as you'd expect from a guitar with solid rosewood back and sides. One of the plastic-tuner knobs has also broken off; I've replaced it with a new mini-tuner knob from a set of 6; I'll include the other 5 with the guitar. So it is cosmetically-challenged. But it's still a good guitar. Every thing works, even the electronics. A new 9V battery is included. I've jammed with it about 3 times for 6 hours plus at a time, no problems at all.
