With a late December deadline approaching we are seeking self-starting interns who have professional editing experience with Final Cut Pro and working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop along with an eagerness to work hard as part of a first-class team and to learn more about all facets of post production. Also, interns must be good at, and ideally enjoy, doing research. A knowledge of film and theatre history is a HUGE plus as the intern will be also doing research; however, an ambitious desire to learn more about the subject could go a long way in making up for a lack of prior knowledge of the subject. In addition, interns will have an opportunity to assist on the remaining film shoots with the theatre legends in the movie. It is important to stress that this will not be an internship where you will simply be getting coffee and observing people making films, you will be an integral part of the process. We only use interns who we believe can add something to the film - we do not use them simply to run errands and make photocopies. Therefore, if you are passionate about documentary filmmaking and if you are looking for an opportunity to get hands-on experience by creating assembly cuts of chapters in the film, view and appraise rare archival footage, and to work side by side with an award-winning director - then this would be the internship for you.
