And furthermore I'm still in school. In a very expensive private school to be more specific. A private school that, with my meager living expenses, has driven my student loan debt to two hundred thousand. So, I'm 31, still in school, and floundering under the weight of my debt. But, I should also add something else, in case I seem really enticing. I am mentally ill and have been hospitalized three times. This partially explains why I'm still in school. And it totally explains the medicine bottles that I hide in the top drawer. If you're still reading, I'm impressed. I made things sound the WORST they possibly could just so I don't end up disappointing anyone. Sure, it's true I live with roommates; but I wanted my debt to be two hundred thousand, not two hundred fifty thousand. I lived alone before school when I was working. Also, the school itself? I'm not an undergraduate, I'm in medical school. And my debt? It's about average for a medical student graduating from a private school. I can't sugar coat the mental illness- but I can tell you that nearly everyone, including my roommates, is unaware of this. Sure, I've been hospitalized, and it set my life back a little, but I've been stable on medication for years. And, I do have some positive attributes but wanted to get the negative ones out of the way. ]]>
