You might be thinking, ‘healthy relationships breakout world wide’? Could there be some truth to this? Read on.

I'm a relationship coach who works with a unique approach to the challenges of relationships. For the last two years I’ve taught my work at high school in Manhattan. From that has come a copyrighted curriculum called Healthy Relationships 101; and the viewpoint was born, Relationship Ed before Sex Ed. The program has generated an extraordinary response both from schools and the general public. There is a universal desire for this work to become a part of our learning. Sex-Ed alone certainly cannot stand on its own to educate us to be more whole beings:

We spend at least 12 years in school preparing for a career.
How much time do we spend preparing for a relationship?

I have just finished my second year of teaching at a New York City high school, and we are being meeting with more schools. Much is needed to meet the demand.

We need a director of operations, executive assistant, a take charge dedicated person who, bottom line wants to contribute to the well being of others. If this is you then please keep reading. We have a particular need for support with the internet, social media, some basic web skills, blogging etc., in order in crease visibility and bring in revenue. Photoshop is a plus.

This is an opportunity not only to make a contribution, but to learn a skill as we have a growing need for facilitators. We are a start up and, at this time are applying for funding. However, there is so much potential from multiple streams of income that a compensation agreement will be worked out before you begin. For now we only have $10 an hour and it has to be deferred for at least two weeks, maybe longer. If this will cause a hardship for you right now then please be honest about that. Let’s not waste anyone’s time. You can send a response and a resume for the future but for now I can only speak with someone who is ready to jump into action and that person should send a resume and response to the ad and something catchy in the subject line so I know you’re actually read the ad. And you are the self starter's self starter.

The director of operations will help direct the foundation. I need a co-director. The job entails organizing the multiple projects as the program expands. Top priorities are curriculum development, outreach to schools, funding research, and various other administrative duties. As contracts are received, we are also looking to add instructors. Most of what I teach is common sense; relationships don’t have to be so difficult. you will be amazing, just ask the people on the staff. I'm not a guru, I still struggle myself but at least I'm aware of it. And awareness is the starting point of change.

The office is spacious, clean and gets good light. Dress is casual and the atmosphere is relaxed even though this ad is quite complex. There's a working kitchen as well.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to become part of an emerging project that is meaningful and rewarding. If this inspires you please respond, if not, thank you for taking time to read this ad. If you are still interested, to get a better sense what we are doing, look at our website, www.therelationshipfoundation.org. There is a short video there. We have a more current video that needs editing.

Our goal is not only to bring our program into the educational process, but also to change the culture. We want to make healthy relationships a household conversation. This work brings relationships out of the realm of the mysterious and unspoken into an arena of honest discussion and learning.

Again, please look at our web site before you respond: www.therelationshipfoundation.org.

Imagine what life might have been like if there had been this subject when we were in school.

Thanks!
Michael

| If you are the owner of an existing web design firm located in Manhattan or Brooklyn, and are looking to expand your customer base and tap into a very niche customer base, this opportunity is for you.

I have been the President of a very successful web design firm for the last 16 years that has specialized in one industry. One year ago, I started a new venture that is completely separate from my web design business. This venture is monopolizing my time and taking me away from my daily tasks. I would now like to partner with an existing NYC web design firm to service my existing clients and to service new clients.

In order to consider partnering with you and your firm, you must meet these criteria:
- You must be located in Manhattan or Brooklyn.
- You must have a bricks and mortar setup. I do not care if there are only 2-3 people in your office and the rest work remotely. There must be a physical office where my customers can meet with you if they so choose to.

- You must give callers to your office the sense that they are calling a very professional business and not someone who is running around with his/her cell phone and conducting business from the local Starbucks.
- You should be at least a 2-3 person company and have someone dedicated to Project Management. A good part of our business has been holding our clients’ hands. They like, and even prefer, to call us and discuss what they want and need. You must have someone good on your staff to work with my clients.
- You must be able to travel to midtown Manhattan on a regular basis. The majority of my clients are in midtown and you must meet with them periodically to discuss existing and new business.
- You must have working for you at least one great layout and design person.

My role and responsibilities will be the following:
- I will work with you and my existing clients only until they tell me that they are satisfied with you. Then I will turn them over to you.
- I will still speak and meet with potential customers that are referred to me or that visit my company’s website.
- I will work with your people to make the proposal and then the project will be 100% yours when the customer signs the contract.

I am only looking for a nominal commission for any business that my existing clients book and on new customers that either are referred to me directly or customers that came to my website.

I can offer you 16 years of experience and guidance in how to deal with the customers in the unique industry that I have serviced. I can also offer you a top coder, programmer and SEO person to help with the workload.

| I'm the owner of Theirtoys.com, an adult toy site. We also run a fairly popular blog at http://theirtoys.com/sexblog. The blog currently gets 100,000 - 150,000 unique visitors per month. We are looking to dramatically increase the amount of content that is being produced for the blog, and are therefore hiring several regular writers. The topics can vary widely, but should be related to sex, sex toys, sexuality, GLBT issues, relationships, or anything else tangential. This is an opportunity for a young writer (college students are great) to make a bit of extra money writing in a very interesting and fun niche, and having their work seen by a lot of people. Because there has been a lot of interest in this position, it is going to work like this. If I accept you as a writer, you will be given a unique login to the blog (it is a wordpress blog) where you will be able to write blog posts without supervision. Once you have completed a blog post, you will submit it for approval. It will be either approved completely (if you did an excellent job, and I think the readers will like it) or I will ask you to do edits before approval or I will flat out reject it if the work is below par. Once I've approved a piece you have written in the blog, you will be paid $20 within 24 hours via paypal. There is no limit to the number of blog posts you will be allowed to write, so you can really make as much money as you like by writing excellent content. Here is what I am looking for in a blog post:

1. Topic must be inherently interesting. I'm not looking for anything generic.
2. It must be easy to consume. Blog writing is not like writing for a paper, it should be easily understood at a few glances, should include media (images and/or video)
3. It can be controversial, outrageous, or even disturbing. I'm looking for content that people will be interested in reading and sharing, almost anything goes.
4. Grammar and spelling can't be a major issue. If you suck at this, please don't apply. These will be edited briefly, mostly for content. If there are substantial grammatical or spelling errors, the post won't be approved.
5. Each entry should range between 1,000-1,500 words. If you're confident the blog entry is awesome but doesn't fit within these limits, no problem, but as a general rule they should be this long.
6. Top Ten Lists are GREAT (if it is an original idea and a top 10 list related to this niche, and well written, i will very likely approve it)
7. Stuff similar to what you might read on the following sites will likely be approved: cracked.com/collegehumor.com/holytaco.com etc.
8. Ask yourself the following when writing: "Is this interesting enough that I would feel compelled to share this with a friend on twitter or facebook" If the answer is no, then I probably won't approve it.

If you are interested please do the following:

1. Give me a tiny bit of background (please don't attach a resume, I don't care, just tell me a little about yourself and why you would be good for this or would like doing it)
2. Give me an idea of what you might write as your first post.
3. A small writing sample in the body of the email (no attachments please)
If you can write long form content that is both search engine friendly and engaging and useful to readers, and you want to make money putting your abilities to work, than this opportunity is for you.

Ad Factory is a creative services marketplace that connects ad agencies and sophisticated advertisers with creative professionals. We provide large clients with a superior alternative to the traditional crowdsourcing model. Rather than sift through hundreds of submissions of largely amateur work, our clients prefer a much smaller pool stemming from a much higher caliber of talent. This model ensures that our clients receive better copy with less headache, and that our writers have more opportunity to do meaningful work and get paid. This is not crowdsourcing for small business, this is expertsourcing for large agencies with high standards. To uphold this model, we can only afford to work with the best.

We will limit the amount of people who can submit work in our marketplace, as well as the number of submissions per project. We are a new type of crowdsourcing model, one that does not have 400 people compete for a $200 prize. We want to help ensure that both the client and the writer get what they are looking for.
__________

We're a giftware company with a strong emphasis on community and events. As part of our commitment to getting out there, connecting with people, and sharing the knowledge, we publish interviews with creative entrepreneurs. Who do we interview? The best and the brightest. The passionate and the most driven. People who are taking life by the horns and following their dreams. If you're a young writer or a journalism student looking to explore the city of New York, meet some of the most interesting and creative people you've ever met, and build a solid body of work to show future employers, this internship is for you.

All interviews are conducted in person, recorded and later transcribed. We will coach you and guide you through our process. Expect to work hard and learn lots! Check out our past interviews here, to become familiar with our content and style: http://www.designglut.com/category/interviews

You should be terribly driven yourself, in order to get the most out of this internship. We require a commitment of at least 2 days a week. Half of that time will be spent in our office in Bushwick, Brooklyn, and the other half you will be around the city conducting interviews. This internship is unpaid, but we offer school credit to current students.

Please send your resume and writing samples along, and tell us why you're the perfect person to connect with and interview creative entrepreneurs.

Let's get the reality out of the way right up front: we're going to pay you a pittance, but it's more than we're paying ourselves, which is zero. Really, it's a pitiful amount of money. And you'll be a freelancer on top of it. But if you're looking for an opportunity to write about area arts & entertainment on a site that will get you readers so you can build skills, clips and connections, and maybe get the occasional ticket comp, then perhaps we're a match for you. We'd call it an internship (and can if you want us to), but we'd rather just be up front about the fact that we're just trying to take advantage of you. ;-) Maybe it will turn into more, or maybe it won't. But let's set the expectation low so you won't be disappointed later on.

Here's what you provide at a minimum: some clue about what's going on in local arts & entertainment, and the ability to write in complete sentences about a topic you're passionate about: theatre, music, festivals, comedy, film and more. You make a couple of posts a week, or whenever you get your muse on. They don't have to be long, just relevant and original.

And when we say "arts and entertainment," we define it broadly. Our current categories are:

Music (all genres, especially contemporary pop/rock)
Art/Museums (galleries, museums, street art, etc.)
Pop Culture (pop music, celebrities, TV)
Theater (community theater, touring Broadway)
Books/Literature/Poetry (national book tours, local readings)
Family (would help if you actually have kids)
Festivals/Fairs/Consumer shows (the bigger the better!)
Food Culture (food culture in general, not a restaurant critic)
Comedy (local comedy club action, national tours)
Film (mainstream & indie reviews, local film festivals, revivals, etc.)
Charity/Non-profit/Fundraisers
Sports (sports as entertainment & events)
Lectures/Education/Self-improvement
Dance (performance and participatory)
TV (show recaps and show news)

Here's what we provide: a content platform that brings a bit of traffic to what you write, coaching on how to write for a blog so you can get said traffic, and a fancy title if you want one to impress your girlfriend/boyfriend/mom/dad/prospective employer. Hey, what can we say? Titles are cheap.

Qualifications: Ya gotta be able to write. We can't teach you that. More important, you have to have a passion for what people like to do when they go out, from a local indie rock show at a small club to the latest Broadway musical at the biggest theater to a small crafts show, or whatever it is that gets your heart pumping when you go out in your city.

Intrigued? Appalled? Either way, thank you for your time.

Oh yeah, if interested, we have one of those fancy online forms on our site at http://culturemob.com/blog/write-for-the-culturemob-blog. So if we end up not choosing you, it won't be because we don't like you, it will simply be because we're trying to build an exclusive club and we have to exclude somebody to make the rest of us feel special while we write for little money. :-) But don't worry, half the people we select will think they want to do it, and then find out that it means they are actually expected to write something, so a slot for you might open up soon enough.

Task:

Write five questions that connect to the grade 4 Georgia Mathematics Performance Standards.

Guidelines:

Your first three questions should be multiple choice. Your last two questions should be short answer (ask students to complete a sentence or solve a word problem and show their work).

Base the three multiple-choice questions on the diagram below. The topics of the short-answer questions are up to you, but they should address a Mathematics Performance Standard the other questions do not address.

Use text boxes to add units or labels to the diagram as you see fit. Note that, depending on the standard being tested, many questions do not demand units. If you do add units, use the same units for all the questions that pertain to the diagram. (In other words, create just one diagram, and write three questions about it.)

Each question must correspond to one of the Grade 4 Georgia Mathematics Performance Standards, which you can find at http://www.georgiastandards.org/math.aspx. Before each question, please type the standard number in red. See sample below.

Use a different standard for each question.

Your questions should progress in level of difficulty, from easiest to hardest. Keep in mind that 4th grade students would take this test near the end of the school year.

For multiple-choice questions, your answer choices should all be plausible.

When answer choices are numbers, arrange them in ascending order, as in the example. When answer choices are words, give them parallel structure.

Below each multiple-choice question, state the answer. Then provide 1–3 reasons (depending on the complexity of the question) why it is the correct answer or how students might have arrived at the incorrect answers. See sample below.

Below your short-answer questions, provide a sample answer. No sample answer should be longer than 2–3 sentences, written in the voice of a fourth grader.

Formatting: For multiple choice questions, precisely follow the format of the sample question below. Your short answer questions should follow the same format, minus the answer choices.

Write your five questions right below the sample question and answer.
