Well I don't know how many crazy people are out there or how many fake responses I'll receive from spam, but anyways, I'd really like to develop a meaningful relationship with somebody special (starting out as friends-first, of course). I can be very caring and sentimental and yet very sarcastic and non-serious. I'm the type that can be extremely romantic when the time's right, yet be very irreverent and vulgar at other times. I can kiss you and tell you that I love you, then at an hour later when we're at a bad party or something, say -- clearly and loudly -- "we should get the f**k out of here!" My college experiences are filled with bar-hopping times leading to a TON of stories which I can tell you about someday, but I'm no longer 100% into the club-scene at the moment, so sometimes I just like to relax and read or watch a classic movie. I have a sort of spontaneous personality, I guess, but I don't think that's it's necessarily a bad thing to be open and express what's on your mind. I never felt that it was the right thing to do... humility is something my parents have taught me, but like you, my friends and the people close to me tend to be vocal. The list came up when at a conference I was presenting at one of the exercises at a workshop was to list qualities that they liked or was impressed with concerning people they worked with. For some reason all seven of them wrote about me. At the end of the workshop each person got up and talked about their list. All seven got up at the same time. I had no idea, and I got a bit teary eyed when they were taking about it. I never want the spot light, I just believe in doing the right thing, and treating people the right way, but deep inside, I felt good because it was nice to be recognized for the work I do. Anyway, some things they said was that I was funny, actually they stayed on that one for a couple of minutes, I was respectfully, I was honest and gave it to you straight, I had integrity, educated, loved what I did, and I cared about the clients I work with. They also talked about what you see is not what you get. I like to read, write, build things, repair things, and like being outside. I love to go kayaking, and travel. I don't know what it is, but I just enjoy visiting out of the way places, or it can be the looks that I get.
