Objective:

The Database Design Engineer prioritizes, analyzes, plans and develops accurate Database requirements and effectively designs, implements, tests, maintains, and documents Database products and systems in adherence to project schedules and objectives, and in accordance with department processes and standards. • Conducting and/or participating in a multi-discipline engineering team supporting the life cycle activities of software products and systems and ensuring all activities are compliant with department standards.

• Employing development methodology to maintain the integrity of single or multiple requirements and design databases while assessing and incorporating the impact(s) of requested changes in functionality.

• Knowledge of SQL along with additional experience with Microsoft SQLServer development will be preferred.

• Minimum experience with SQL Server, Crystal Reports, Stored procedures, ASP.NET and other Web technology skills is required. Additional experience with Data Warehousing, database optimization, data migration via DTS (Data Transformation Services) or ETL (Extract/Transform/Load), data modeling, other reporting techniques will be added preferences.
