I'm not one for having a strict schedual for weekly practices. I go to school, and have a day job too, and just like everyone else, things come up. Of course, initially there will be a few more "regular" practices to create an act together, but mostly preperation will be a case by case bases for each show. 004. Auditions, Shows, and Pay. There is no set shows yet. I'm not a manager or a booking agent looking to contract you to shows. I'm a singer, and we will be creating an act together. I already have various shows I preform in the Orlando area, and am looking to add to those. As for auditions, you must be willing to audition with me for certain (high paying) gigs, at places such as Universal Studios, and different resorts/ lounges. Lastly, pay is case by case. If you're in the show biz, you know already, that pay always differs. A certain venue may only be willing to pay $175 for three hours of entertainment, while another will pay $500 for an hour and a half. (All pay will be spilt 50/50% between myself and the pianist) I always accept any offer for a show that has a good location, and decent pay, because to me, any paying job is a good job. Project 1: Description: Looking for everyday people and/or models who are willing to receive a free makeover (cosmetic application only). Requirements: Must consent to before and after shots, and must consent to allowing artist to use images for self-promotion / commercial purposes. Gender, age, race, height, appearance are irrelevant as purpose is to depict work of freelance makeup artist. Model is to bring and be responsible for items typical to a Time for Trade session (if you do not know what that is and claim to be a model, please do not even bother responding). Compensation: A free, beauty makeover and a copy of the before and after head shots (attire is irrelevant) via email. Project 2: Description: Looking for models for artistic shoots (i.e. costumes, props, airbrush cosmetics / tan, etc...). Requirements: Height/Weight Proportionate pursuant to traditional modeling guidelines. Models must have clear heels, elastic hair ties, false eyelashes, body suit or strapless bikini, and pleasant demeanor. Reasons these items are to be brought and not provided: (1) they will not be reusable to makeup artist and only to the model; (2) some clothing provided depending on shoot concept; (3) model will be having work performed by experienced makeup artist and photographer who has been in the industry since 1988. Compensation: Copies of BEST images via email. General Information: Shoots commence at 8:00 am in Orlando, Florida, on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. If participant is under 18, minor must be accompanied by parent / guardian. Images are to be used for self-promotion. Project specifics cannot be released until the shoot so as to not compromise artistic integrity (Project 2). However, please expect bright colors and unique concepts. Project 2 concept varies pending participants "look." Model may bring one person only to the shoot. Photographer and makeup artist is female.
