This position requires individuals to consult with the client, gather the information required and assist them by obtaining an interpreter in one of the over 200 languages we can supply. The coordinator locates the interpreter by calling out to our available linguists around the globe and matches the best interpreter for that client.

All positions are part time (up to 32-hours per week) with a flexible schedule. Since we are a 24-hour operations center we are able to offer morning, afternoon, evening and late night hours to accommodate your schedule. Currently we are looking for coordinators to join our team who can work a minimum of 4-hours per day. We have openings on the following shifts:

4am – 8am (M-F or a combination of days)

7am – 12pm (M-F or a combination of days)
<br>
7am – 3pm (M-Th or T-F or a combination of any 3-days)
<br>
8am - 1pm (M-F or a combination of at least 3-days)

Each term this dormitory houses up to 16 international students from various countries. All of these students are studying English as a Second Language at the ELC. There are 9 bedrooms, shared gender specific-bathrooms, full kitchen, and dining room, common room, and laundry facilities. A private attached studio apartment is reserved for the Resident Director.

Responsibilities:

Some of the resident responsibilities include:

-Coordinating and overseeing resident check-ins and check-outs at the beginning, middle and ending of each term.

-Serving as a liaison between the World House residents, ELC Program Coordinator, and maintenance agencies concerning house policies, repairs, problems, etc.
<br>
-Serving as a resource for residents throughout the term with issues related to general living.
<br>
-Overseeing facilities and maintaining a safe, clean, quality living environment for residents.
<br>
-Conducting regular meetings with residents to share information and to provide a forum to discuss resident concerns.
<br>
-Preparing and hosting at least one program for residents each month to promote intercultural awareness and cooperation.

Some of the administrative responsibilities include:

-Preparing administrative documentation for residents (housing contracts, key agreements, renew forms, deposit refund requests).

-Maintaining inventory of house supplies (linens, cleaning products, etc) with selected vendors and ensuring house bills (telephone, cable, etc) are paid promptly.

Qualifications:
<br>
The ideal candidate will possess, or will be currently enrolled in a Masters program in Education, TESL, Higher Education, Global Education or a closely related field. He/she should have a strong interest in working with international students from a variety of ethnic, national, and religious backgrounds. Previous residential life experience is also desired.

Compensation includes:
