<![CDATA[ I need someone to figure out how to install curtains at my place, take a trip with me to home depot to get whatever supplies are needed, then hang them up. The complication is the shape of the windows. There are two windows, side by side. I'll estimate the size of each as 7 feet high and 2 1/2 feet across. The window on the right is normal rectangle shape. But the staircase cuts through the window on the left, making a weird angle. It looks kind of like this: ...../-----------| ..../............| .../............ | ../..............| ./...............| |................| |................| |................| |................| |................| |................| |................| |................| |................| |----------------| Not exact, but you get the idea. That weird angle on the left makes it impossible to hang a normal curtain rod. I can send pictures if that would help. Also, you'll need to bring a big enough ladder. The ceilings are roughly 20 or 25 feet high. I've only got a 6 foot ladder, which won't cut it, so you'll need to bring your own. The job pays $100 for successful installation. So, to recap, the job requires the following: 1. Bring a ladder which is big enough to get up there 2. Figure out what we'll need to hang curtains successfully 3. Go with me to Home Depot to buy everything (about 10 mins away) 4. Install the curtains 5. Receive $100 when the job is complete I'd like to get this done today if possible. So, I have engineered hardwood, glued down on Luan, Luan stapled to the base floor. My basement is unfinished but the floors are on the second floor. There are 2 spots in my house, relatively small, that when you step on them, they sink down and then "POP" up when you step off. Im guessing that there is not enough glue. People have been saying that you can either remove some boards, load it up with glue and put some new boards back somehow, or drill through the floor and inject glue and then putty the whole. I just want it done right so it does not pop anymore and it looks good. I also have lots of extra boxes of wood. I want to hire someone to do this for me. But...there are 2 spots that either the glue dried or not enough glue was applied I think. Now, when you step on it you can feel it sink and then hear it pop up. It is quite annoying.
