They are terrorists, but the hispanic voting block was very important for Hillary in her Senate election. ANd where did these people commit their acts of terrorism? Why, New York, of course. (No conflict there) Here are some of ther last minute pardons... Peter MacDonald - The day before President Clinton left office, U.S. Rep. Patrick J. Kennedy lobbied the White House to commute the sentence of the former leader of the Navajo Nation. MacDonald was sentenced to 14 years at a Federal Prison in Texas for fraud, extortion, inciting riots, bribery, and corruption stemming from the Navajo purchase of the Big Boquillas Ranch in Northwestern Arizona. He was commuted after serving 10 years. Carlos A. Vignali had his sentence for cocaine trafficking commuted, after serving 6 of 15 years in federal prison. Almon Glenn Braswell was pardoned of his mail fraud and perjury convictions, even while a federal investigation was underway regarding additional money laundering and tax evasion charges.[14] Braswell and Carlos Vignali each paid approximately $200,000 to Hillary Clinton's brother, Hugh Rodham, to represent their respective cases for clemency. Hugh Rodham returned the payments after they were disclosed to the public.[15] Braswell would later invoke the Fifth Amendment at a Senate Committee hearing in 2001, when questioned about allegations of his having systematically defrauded senior citizens of millions of dollars.[16] Linda Sue Evans and Susan Rosenberg were pardoned. Weather Underground members, they were imprisoned on weapons and explosives charges.[17][18](WeatherUnderground? Where have I heard that name before???) Marc Rich, a fugitive, was pardoned of tax evasion, after clemency pleas from Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak, among many other international luminaries. He was required to pay a $100 million dollar fine and waive any use of the pardon as a defense against any future civil charges that were filed against him in the same case. Critics complained that Denise Rich, his former wife, had made substantial donations to the Clinton library and to Mrs. Clinton's senate campaign. Emails uncovered during the course of the investigation revealed that her final donation was provided a year before Scooter Libby requested that she approach Clinton for a pardon. According to Paul Volcker's independent investigation of Iraqi Oil-for-Food kickback schemes, Marc Rich was a middleman for several suspect Iraqi oil deals involving over 4 million barrels of oil.[19] Susan McDougal, who had already completed her sentence, was pardoned for her role in the Whitewater scandal; McDougal had served 18 months on contempt charges for refusing to testify about Clinton's role. Dan Rostenkowski, a former Democratic Congressman convicted in the Congressional Post Office Scandal. Rostenkowski had served his entire sentence. Melvin J. Reynolds, a Democratic Congressman from Illinois, who was convicted of bank fraud, 12 counts of sexual assault, obstruction of justice, and solicitation of child pornography had his sentence commuted on the bank fraud charged and was allowed to serve the final months under the auspices of a half way house. He had served his entire sentence on child sex abuse charges before the commutation of the later convictions. (a pardon for sexual assault and child porn? Great) Roger Clinton, the president's half-brother, on drug charges after having served the entire sentence more than a decade before. Roger Clinton would be charged with drunk driving and disorderly conduct in an unrelated incident within a year of the pardon.[20] He was also briefly alleged to have been utilized in lobbying for the Braswell pardon, among others. However, no wrongdoing was uncovered. But let me guess, these are different, right? Why, because it was Clinton. ]]>

He did not buy the zanax for himself but for a 20 yrs old woman whose Father passed away and had "NO" INSURANE TO SEE A DOCTOR. The zanax helped her to fall asleep during this very sad time. The young man got caught buying the 12 zanax on our city streets and was sent to prison for 2-4 yrs in prison. In 2008 we are spending $30.000 to house each inmate, that’s an alarming $230 million a year! Wouldn’t it be better to employ people for $30.000 by supplying jobs? This would explain why our prison population is so high. (MMS) My son was sentenced to serve 2-4 years in a State prison for buying $12.00 worth of zanax. This was a non violent crime and should not be doing prison time. This mistake will cost the tax payers between $60,000 -$120,000. Judge Norman Black, District Court for Southern district of Texas “Mandatory Minimum Sentences (MMS) “What you are saying is that the law is not fair and you are right. The law is not fair! The sentencing Reform Act that created these guidelines and the minimum sentences that congress has put into effect are OUTRAGEUOS! It offends me deeply to have to follow that law and never thought that I would have to say that. But I must follow that law. I am sworn to do that. If I don’t follow the law, these lawyers will that the case to the court of appeals and make me follow the law. I don’t feel that I have any choice under the Sentences Reform Act. Neither do any citizens of the USA have a choice when they enter into one of our courts and handed an excessively LONG sentence for a non-violent crime. Pg4 Time Magazine “The Shame of Prisons.” 1971 After a single night at a Nevada State Prison, 23 judges from all over the United States emerged appalled, shaken by the inmates. Shattering bitterness and upset by the men raving, screaming and pounding on the walls begging to be helped. Judge E Newton Vickers (Kansas) “I FELT LIKE AN ANIMAL IN A CAGE. TEN YEARS MUST FEEL LIKE 200 YEARS.” VICKER’S URGED NEVADA TO “SEND BULLDOZERS OUT THERE AND TEAR THE DAMN THING DOWN TO THE GROUND!” Currently the ACLU has a Class Action Lawsuit against on of Nevada’s state prison for medical neglect to the inmates. One inmate had diabetes, received no medical treatments and was forced to rot to death. The Criminal Justice System is a big, expensive way “Not’ to deal with crime, the proof is in the pudding, just look at our prisons. Did you know that Prison Guards get paid a lot of money to “sit” and watch the inmates basically “sit.” How productive is that? Most Americans have not been in a prison, and most do not think of their fellow citizens in “Human Cages.” This false belief that encagement is a good and necessary thing, as “justice” for how else can we tolerate and continue to pay for prisons. The USA is one of the few countries, and the only western industrialized First World Nation to still use capital punishment better named “Human Sacrifice, often in front of their friends and families. The “Born-Again Christian, President Bush is praise by famous fundamentalists who favor the death penalty. What ever happen to the commandment, “Thou shall not kill?” In Texas, Dubya signed 135 premeditated murders of men and women; that’s 135 premeditated murders. This is one of the highest numbers of murders committed by one person. Wouldn’t he then be considered a “Serial Killer?” Or is this kind of murder acceptable because the Government said so? If we say “This is wrong” then we are morally obligated to act to change it. I am a prison abolitionist because the price is just too high. From any angle, by any measure, the price of prisons is just too high, morally, legally, democratically, financially, psychologically and spiritually for both the criminals and their victims. I don’t believe that prison can be reformed to the point of acceptability, and therefore should be destroyed. ]]>

<![CDATA[ THE CITY OF BROTHERLY LOVE The answer to the world’s problems is so simple and it was given to us in our cities name the answer is “LOVE.” Yet how can we claim this name if we don’t apply it’s meaning? Words are only borrowed if we are not a living example of a loving community. The Philadelphia Inquirer, Sunday May,18 2008 “City’s packed prisons may get worse.” Take “LOVE” out of our community and look what happens; our city has the highest crime rate in the country. “Our prisons have become human warehouses built within our city because we have placed such little value on the human soul.” It’s clear that putting a person in prison is not the answer; punishment is not a cure for it is like putting fuel on a forest fire that is burning out of control. Water is the only source used to put out a fire, so could it possibly be love that will save our city? If water can carve into the hardest stone that created the Grand Canyon, can you imagine what love can do for our city! THREE EXAMPLES OF HOW LOVE DESOLVED CRIME ~ (ALL THESE STORIES ARE TRUE.) FIRST~ A young man fresh out of high school told me he was days away from going on a killing spree at his school. This boy was bullied by his classmates for many years because he was short and fat. Just like a gun, his insides had built up so much pressure that he was about to explode and kill the people who emotionally hurt him. He told me it was one act of kindness by a stranger that melted his heart and stopped him from killing those who had tormented him for years. One kind act stopped the killing of many kids at his school and saved him from spending the rest of his life on “Death Row.” SECOND~ There was a man who was a very successful art dealer with a wife who loved to love. She told her husband about a dream she had and needed to go to a homeless shelter to find the man in her dream. Her husband had no interest in going to a homeless shelter but trusted his wife and went. During there first visit a fight broke out amongst the men when all of a sudden a big man stood up and said in an angry voice, “I’M GOING TO KILL SOMEONE!” The man and his wife fell to the floor in fear of their lives. The women stood up and looked at this man and said to her husband, “That’s the man in my dream!” The husband asked the workers at the shelter who this man was and would it be safe to approach him. He was told that his name was Denver and he was a very dangerous man who spent more then half his life in prison. Denver was 60 yrs old and feared by every one at the shelter. That didn’t stop his wife from leaping over the table with excitement and speaking to Denver. She told him that God has a special plan for his life; Denver grunted and walked away. The wife was determined to make Denver her new best friend and went back once a week to get to know Denver better. Denver soon opened up to this couple and they all became best friends. But that’s not the end. The women died within 18months of meeting Denver of cancer. At the funeral Denver got up in front of 1000 people to tell his story of the power of love and how it saved his life. After Denver finished speaking he was given a standing ovation. Shortly after the funeral donations started coming in totaling $500,000. The two men took this money and opened a homeless shelter in their city and purchased new furniture. Denver a man who was once feared by all is now ministering to all the men who come to the shelter with amazing results! The power of love is rippling out into their community thanks to this very brave and loving woman. THIRD ~ A Catholic Nun while praying said she heard a voice in her mind that instructed her to give up her position as a nun to become a police officer. She did not question her inner guidance and soon became a police officer. After a year of working as a police officer she received a letter from man she once arrested. This man wanted to thank her for the kindness he received while she had arrested him. In detail he explained the terrible things that happened to him while growing up in the projects with a drug addicted mom and no father. At an early age he was taught to fight and steal to survive in this world. In his 50 yrs of living he never had one person say a kind word to him. He too spent over half his life in the prison system which as he described as worse then the ghetto that he grew up in. That one act of kindness was the medicine he needed to heal is wounded and battered heart. He stopped hurting people and most important he stopped hurting himself! ~ “Hurting people Hurt People ~ Love takes the pain away. We have a city ravaged with hurting people and we wonder why??? WE HAVE THE POWER….TO CREATE OR DESTROY Our choices will cause a rippling effect out into our community, choose wisely, our children’s future depends on you! Soon the only way people will able to survive is to steal once the rest of the jobs are gone. Over fifty percent of our Industries have now been lost to foreign countries. Over twenty percent of our domestic jobs are now taken by Illegal Aliens. Almost all credit, financial, and health records of Americans have crossed over at least once to other countries via off-shoring. You don’t find out about it until your identity is stolen. The government says too bad it’s your problem. The government says” So your job gets outsourced or given to an illegal alien, your identity gets stolen and your credit and life is destroyed, a small price to pay to help the filthy rich If our government would at least regulate the outsourcing, healthcare and energy prices then maybe we could reverse the destruction of our economy but they won't. <![CDATA[Steve Meyer of New Britain, Pa committed suicide Nov. 14, 2008 because he feared going to prison for 6yrs for "cursing" at the police. A few months ago the New Britain Police Department was called to assist with a house fire in Steve's trailer park. Steve called 911 when he noticed the trailer next to his on fire. He grabbed his hose and tried to put out the fire until the Fire Company arrived. When the police arrived they smelt beer on his breathe and decided to harress Steve and accused him of starting the fire???? Needless to say,Steve became enraged and left the seen of the fire. The police followed Steve and continued to harress him. Steve cursed at the police and told them to get the F--- off his property. (I forgot to mention Steve is blind in one eye) The police then mased Steve in his good eye causing severe pain. The police pressed charges and took Steve to prison. When Steve arrived at the prison he was feeling violated when they told him to take off his clothes. He refused to strip and was mased again! Steve posted bail after spending a few weeks rotten in a cage. Steve had to appear in court with the hope the judge would see how the police pushed him to the point of becoming enraged and drop all charges, but that wasn't the case. The Judge odered Steve to stand trail in December for verbally assulting the police and was told he could get "6" yrs of prison time. After Steve left the court house he became severely depressed and couldn't bare the thought of sitting in a cage for 6 yrs. Steve's thoughts became so painful that got hold a gun and killed himself to releive the pain and worry of serving prison time. I don't think the police department is aware of the terrible fear they placed inside Steve mind and frankly I don't think they care. Steve had no family and no job ~ he was just a simple man who never had much luck in life. His body is laying in the morge and I don't know what is going to happen at this point. He may end up in a potter's field in an unmarked grave, how sad..... I wish the police would have left this poor man alone so Steve Meyer would still be alive to greet me every Sunday with is friendly smile and Hi! ]]>

To make it worse the average American does not even know what the Constitution says about our government and money. To keep it simple, the United States Constitution says in article 1, section 8. "[Congress shall have the power..]To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures". The Constitution does not give Congress the authority to print paper money themselves, let alone delegate control over monetary policy to a central bank. Before the mid-twentieth century our currency was backed by an asset, more importantly it was backed by gold. For the longest time in our country the dollar was worth 1/20 of an ounce of gold. After the Federal Reserve was created in 1913 our government went on a mission to not only eliminate the gold standard but confiscate the gold from its citizens as well. So you would ask why, why would the government do that? Why would they disregard the Constitution? Well it wouldn't be the first time and probably not the last. The simple answer to those questions is this: When an asset such as gold backs money, government deficit spending is severely limited. With the creation of the Federal Reserve we have given the government the ability to have money printed out of thin air. Like G. Edward Griffin said, "if you give someone the power to create money out of thin air, don't be surprised when they create money out of thin air". The world we live in today goes like this- The Federal Reserve prints our money and lends it to our government at interest. This loan is guaranteed by the taxpayers. It is not a coincidence that the income tax was created in 1913, the same year the Federal Reserve act of 1913 was passed by congress. The Federal Reserve is a private bank held by private stockholders. We cannot audit the Federal Reserve. It is not owned or run by the taxpayers or the federal government. I say lets end the Federal Reserve. Congress does have the power to do that and we should demand that they do it. Below is some quotes and text. A Japanese company ( Toyota ) and an American company (Ford) decided to have a canoe race on the Missouri River. Both teams practiced long and hard to reach their peak performance before the race. On the big day, the Japanese won by a mile. The Americans, very discouraged and depressed, decided to investigate the reason for the crushing defeat. A management team made up of senior management was formed to investigate and recommend appropriate action. Their conclusion was the Japanese had 8 people rowing and 1 person steering, while the American team had 8 people steering and 1 person rowing. Feeling a deeper study was in order, American management hired a consulting company and paid them a large amount of money for a second opinion. They advised, of course, that too many people were steering the boat, while not enough people were rowing. Not sure of how to utilize that information, but wanting to prevent anot her loss to the Japanese, the rowing team's management structure was totally reorganized to 4 steering supervisors, 3 area steering superintendents, and 1 assistant superintendent steering manager.
