<![CDATA[New local poker group establishing a TeXas Hold'em league that will send no less than one of its members to the 2009 World Series of Poker. There is an annual membership of $50. The games will be a $20 buy-in with $20 unlimited re-buys until the first break and a $20 add-on during the break. $20 gives the player 2000 chips. Please note, in order to have the $10,000.00 to send a player to the WSOP. 50% will go to the WSOP fund and 50% will be paid out based on the players chips stack at the end of the night. Play will begin promptly at 6PM and the last hand of the evening will not start later than 9PM. Players will be awarded points equal to the money they cash out with at the end of the night, minus their total buy-ins and add-ons. i.e. a player buys-in with $20, re-buys for $20 and does an add-on at the break for $20. The Total buy-in is $60. If this player cashes out $180, that player will be awarded 120 points for the play off game (180-60=120). 2 weeks prior to the WSOP, a championship game will be played. A players chip stack will be equal to the amount of points earned throughout the playing season. i.e. if a player plays 20 games and averages 80 points a game, that player would begin the championship game with 1600 chips. If a player plays 48 games and averages 50 points a game, that player would begin the championship game with 2400 chips. The more often a player plays and the better a player does while playing, will have an increased change of being the chamionship Tournament winner.
