I love foreign and indie movies - from Luc Besson to Gregg Araki and everything in between. I love going to movies - I go every weekend and like to rent them and stay in as well and even have cheesy movie marathons with friends from time to time - and I'd love meet someone to go to shows with that has eclectic taste. Drama, foreign, indie, scifi, horror, comedy - I like all those genres a lot.<p> I'm not really a big drinker at all and I don't smoke, so I haven't had much chance to meet someone with work and school and thought I'd try this site. The vegetarian environmentalist and animal lover. <p>Various friends have noted that I pass as normal. Most people don't see past the organized, grounded, straightlaced graduate student studying classical music who doesn't overtly rebel against what society expects. That part is real, but there's a lot more there. I have never in my life fit in perfectly with any particular group or subculture. I have my hands in too many pots, too many diverse elements in synergy to be contained in any one modality. Life is too interesting, and I have too much passion to limit it.</p> <p>If you find what I've described interesting, chances are reasonable that I'll think you're interesting too. For me right now, here's what an ideal relationship looks like. I want a companion. Someone to share with. In my most successful relationships, we've enjoyed just sharing space together even when not directly interacting. Simply sitting next to each other while doing your own activity is very gratifying. And during the week, that's about all I have time for. We can cook and eat together, and sit together while we do our respective studying/work/relaxing/whatever. Maybe cuddle and watch a movie if my time management is awesome (or, more likely, if you're so awesome I can't help myself). I'm big on cuddling.
