<![CDATA[Returned Peace Corps needs money. Brought this home from Ghana myself....Make me an offer 602-451-6355 How they are made: The keys of the Balafon are made from the male Shea Butter tree. The tree, having mostly died in bush fires, must have been dead for a number of years for it to have lost most of its natural oils. The wood is cut into planks and dried over fires built into the ground. The planks are cut into keys with a short handled axe, and a sharp knife is used for fine tuning. Wood is cut from the middle if the note is flat and from the ends if it is sharp. Gourds are then cut under the keys amplifying their sound. The beaters are made from wood and rubber, the rubber is recycled from old truck tires. The beaters are held between the fore and middle fingers. The frame is made from hardwood. Each key has sized gourd resonators. ]]>

<![CDATA[I am selling my first performance bass amp. It is a Fender BXR-100, the precursor to the current Rumble 100 model. The amp is in good condition and still sounds wonderful. The only modification I have made is the installation of four removable casters (wheels) on the bottom to ease transportation of this 70 lb amp. This would make an ideal piece of equipment for a beginner, or someone more advanced looking to step up to a larger amp for performances or practice. Everyone who has played it has said it's the most comfortable guitar they've ever played. <![CDATA[This is a hotrodded Mesa boogie Dual Rec amp. This amp was customised by Mesa Tronics in 2006. It has upgraded tubes, lighting, and rectifier. The most bad ass Mesa you have ever heard. Increased attack and still ultra clean. This stack has low hours and has been kept in a studio for it’s entire life. Used only 1 time per week for the last year. This is the 3 channel model with individual switching for normal/sponge/bold attack. If you know Mesa then you know that this is the amp to get and the model of Dual rec to get. I have every thing it came with except the manual. All cords, and foot switches and it has been taken care of well. I will also throw in a heavy duty flight case for the head. <![CDATA[Genz Benz "GBE series 2" amplifier rated at 375 watts. Clean sound with plenty of power. Genz Benz is a Scottsdale AZ company known for high quality guitar and bass amps. This model is a few years old but works great. Trace Elliot 4x10 cab rated at 320 watts and 8 ohms. This is one of the real trace elliot cabs (pre peavey) with original Celestion speakers. Has new 1/4 inch jacks and retro-fitted with handy Speakon connector. The cab is relatively light for 1 person loading. This is an experienced cab so there is some light wear and tear on the corners and the tolex. Also, one of the meanest looking grills I have seen. This gear sounds great together and really shines in the band setting. Your bass will really cut through in the mix and plenty of volume for most gigging situations. 225 each part, 400 for both. <![CDATA[I realized tonight that I don't need this guitar any more. There's nothing wrong with it really, it plays well and sounds good, it has good intonation and the neck is straight. It's just that it's an old Arbor. But it's from a different time. Back when even lower end guitars were actually playable. This ones got a Duncan Invader in the neck position and a Dimebucker for the bridge. It's got an "Accutune" locking bridge, but the nut is open so you can just tune it the way a real man tunes a guitar; with his left hand! The plastic screw-on piece is missing from the selector switch, and the volume knob is a little loose, although the pot still works fine. All in all, it's a cool old guitar, and definitely worth $100. It's a set-neck sorta half Explorer/half V guitar. Think "Gibson Moderne" only not as ridiculous and you've about got it. So, yeah, ya want it or not? And yes, I understand that I am attaching possibly the worst quality picture of a guitar ever. It's a cell phone picture, and I absolutely HATE cell phone pictures on craigslist ads. Oh, well, at least I used decent grammar and am going to remember to actually put my phone number in the listing, right? Does that override my laziness?
