<![CDATA[GUITARIST WANTED Madame Sheeba, currently a five piece rock band based in Tempe is seeking a permanent replacement for our current lead guitarist who is going to begin to focus on his new family. Madame Sheeba currently has an almost full line up; we just need a keyboard player. Our goal is to gig out within the next 4 – 5 weeks. Although no “requirements” are absolutely set in stone… with that being said the guitarist player should be 25 – 35 years old with professional equipment, talent, some experience, a suitable personality and the ability to contribute as an equal member of the group when it come to basic expenses. (i.e. studio rent). We do a fair amount of communicating electronically, on line and via text messaging so having a computer with internet connection is a must. Also an iPod or other similar device for storing the mounting set lists. We feel that being organized is one of the keys to our eventual success. A little about Madame Sheeba… we have a 5 members, standard rock band formation. We are playing music that spans the spectrum of rock and roll. From The Beatles to Megadeth, although the bands direction is distinctively more mainstream and not metal. With that being said… This is a unique opportunity for the right guitar player to really shine and share the spotlight with other like minded musicians. The vision of Madame Sheeba is designed around a wide variety of music which highlights each of the band members own personal talents. Madame Sheeba is designed to be high energy that appeals to many different types of audiences which will reflect on the band unique style, personality and diversity. One of the goals of this group is to focus in on the overall band experience, the opportunity to play with like minded professionals in a low pressure situation. <![CDATA[We are continuing to audition singers and instrumentalists for guest appearances at one of our Sunday evening Vesper Services at First Congregational United Church of Christ. The pay is $50 for a 4:30PM rehearsal and 5:30PM performance on one specific Sunday as bookings become available. We are now booking Sunday evenings from late November through December and into 2009. Musical selections can range from Broadway to Pop, Religious to Rock, and Spirituals to Folk and protest songs, as long as the music is positive, moving, uplifting, and fun!
