I'm a true southern girl (raised in the south, love country music, playing pool and poker, drinking on the tailgate, mudding, 4-wheeling, ect) but I also have a strong appreciation for the arts (love to read, go to museums, musicals/plays). I really am "one of the guys" and believe that guys make the best friends. I attend college and am working toward a degree in Intervention Specialist (special education teacher). I spent two years studying Equine Science before changing to this major. I am hoping to have my own handicapped riding program one day. I have a horse, a dog, a cat, and two ferrets. My pets are my "kids" and are very important to me... so don't think you'll be pushing my dog outta bed! Physical: I'm a shortie at just a hair over 5'1". I'm not what most would consider a BBW, but I do have some extra "cushion for the pushin"... Hehe. I have reddish-brown hair and hazel eyes. What I'm looking for: I'm looking for someone with the SAME INTERESTS as me and goals in life. I also want a guy who isn't needy, but also isn't afraid to be affectionate in public. So here I am a single, white female who has never had kids and has never been married. I am average woman, 5’5, 145lbs, athletic with curvy build who is seeking someone to relate to. I like going to the movies, concerts, out dancing with friends, having a drink, playing video games, watching sports and just relaxing and hanging out. I also enjoy plays, museums and reading. 2 important things to me are my family and friends. <![CDATA[Hi. Thanks for reading this post or at least this much of it. I like to have fun. True...fun can be defined in so many different ways. I have read many posts by men and women on CL before I chose to post and what to say. Like so many others, I am looking for someone I can spend some time with doing things we have in common. I also desire to experience new things I have never done before. Life has taught me that we take it for granted and that it is too short. I like going out and staying in. When you are with someone who likes being with you, it's not about what you do but who you are with. Being with someone should not be about filling a void. It should be about enhancement of each other's lives by the things we do for and say to one another. I am average in height and build. I am well educated, work full-time, love my job, and my life. But, I think someone in it would make it even better than it is right now. I like people, animals, and being independent. People need time with one another and in their own personal zone. I get that and promote it. In many ways I am not like my female contemporaries. In some ways I am. I like being active. It reminds me I am alive and not taking it for granted. What am I looking for in a gentleman? Well...intelligence, independence, strength, secure in your beliefs, tolerant of others, love of animals, respectful, and desiring friendship with the potential to develop into closeness with a soft caring woman is a start.
