We're about a mile from downtown and well connected by public transportation. The house has a cozy fireplace, wood floors, natural woodwork, front porch, back garden with perennial and veggie beds, washer/dryer in full unfinished basement. We're three busy, nice, responsible women in our 30s and 40s who are looking for a 4th person to share our space. We are open as to age, just be responsible, nice, and hopefully compatible with us. Two of us are former English majors, and we enjoy reading, art, theatre, as well as hiking, rowing and kayaking, gardening, good food, and (at least one of us likes :)) good wine. The house has 4 bedrooms and 1-1/2 baths on three floors. The available room is well furnished with a comfortable bed, a beautiful antique dresser and a desk and chair. It is on the 2nd foor, with a window facing the tree-lined front of the house. It is quiet, has wood floors and good light. The room is available December 10th, and can possibly be available a few days earlier, and we are open to a short-term sublet of a minimum of two months (through the end of January), or a longer period of severals months.
