To much that's involved in doing a job like that, that's if you want it to solve your problem. Like the machine work that may have to be done in order to complete it, like......RIDGE CUT?....CYLINDER "DE-GLAZING"? 1990 Izu.? Motor's got to come out anyway to do the job, the right way, anyway. By the time you get done with trying to rebuild this motor, which might not be worth the effort, you can go out and get your self another motor at a "RE-CYCLING" yard that is probably in better shape than what jew got. Try contacting a (few)local garages; more than one, and let them tell you what they'll say. Put a replacement in. You'll end up saving your self the time, money, and the aggravation of trying to rebuild what you have. Those motors are the the disposable "BIC" type. When they start showing that kind of abuse, they're all done. Throw it away, and get your self another.]]>

The beds are in the middle of the concrete footprint of the building. A large yew is planted in one, and a small shrub is in teh other. They beds slope towards the street. I need to cover the soil in both beds for the purpose of making the building lead safe (It is a hazard to small children who might eat the soil). Open to any ideas. Wood chips or mulch will do, but you'd need to build a barrier on the lower side of the bed to prevent all the wood chips from washing out of the bed. Prefer experienced landscapers with references.
