My plan is to cook a small turkey breast on my BBQ, and maybe some ribs or other meats, some hearty sides, and a cheesecake for dessert. <![CDATA[So I guess things in my life have me putting my baggage into an ad. Hey it happens. Well here is what I am looking for- someone to hang out with- go for walks- I have dogs I like to walk and I like exploring little towns and being out in nature-camping and canoeing is fun too. I wouldn’t mind going out listening to some blues or jazz or even shooting some pool, even Karaoke would be fun. Dancing maybe- although that would take some balls for me at this point. I am an artist so museums or galleries would be cool too. I love antiques, history and science and I used to be very involved with music. Even just hanging out outside with some coffee or a drink and people watching would be fun. I like to laugh. I am pretty silly and outgoing. I say it is the Italian thing. I don’t mind listening to problems since everyone has them and trying to pretend that they don’t exist isn’t going to get anyone anywhere. Although a break from problems and just living for the moment would be great! I am a 35 year old woman who is pretty interesting and I am trying to get out to partake in life again. Don’t worry I am normal looking unless I decide to put my hair into ponytails. I had some serious family losses and a 3 year medical problem that really left me wondering if I would ever have a normal life again. But that is all better so I am very grateful. I am married and even with 5 years of couples therapy I am still scratching my head. Neither one of us knows when to quit and until he figures out what he wants neither one of us can seem to fully commit. I know enough about my own problems and how to help everyone under the sun but sometimes the realities of life take over and what you may think is best for you in your head and spirit isn’t always attainable because of responsibilities and where the circumstances of your life has put you regardless of your best shot at changing those things. However rarely are things permanent so you never know what is around the corner. So life is short. I am not looking for a romantic relationship since I believe in my marriage vows. My husband is trying to sort out his baggage rather than pretending it doesn’t exist and he is actually going to utilize his co-payment in therapy and all I can do is give him room to do so. I just hope it doesn’t take another 3 years to get somewhere or anywhere for that matter. No one said marriage is easy. Plus one person isn’t going to make everything better or make you happy. Only you can make yourself happy and help yourself. Sometimes we all need a bit of help though. We live in a throw away society and I don’t live by those values. I am really tired and need a boost. I can’t keep expecting that I alone can get myself through each day after so many years and keep holding myself and my husband up. The world is exciting and beautiful and I wouldn’t mind getting out into it again with someone. Dogs only provide so much company. I don’t have kids but I do like them and they like me probably because I am not their mother! I also just got an art studio and wouldn’t mind even having someone model for me- but I guess that would be another ad. Anyone with mechanical or carpentry experience would be a great resource for me at the moment. Plus creative people need inspiration. Some good energy coming back into my life would sure help.
