<![CDATA[This is Mischief, a 9-year-old solid black Domestic Short Hair, weighing around 9 pounds (yes, she's small and adorable!). She is up-to-date on all shots, is declawed in the front, and has had regular vet checkups annually. She is spayed and has never had any medical problems whatsoever. She is as absolutely sweet as can be, but is not getting along well with my girlfriend's 2 male cats. She is used to being Queen of the house but doesn't seem to take very well to other animals, especially other cats. But don't misunderstand, she is very social and loves people and kids! She is very affectionate and loves to sit in your lap while you're at the computer, watching TV, basically whenever she can. She also loves to sleep on the bed next to you. She purrs constantly and wags her tail when she's happy...she also LOVES to play fetch with her little stuffed animals, strange as that sounds! I swear she thinks she's a puppy sometimes! She likes to gaze out the window, but never goes outside. It breaks my heart to have to find a new home for her, but I know she's really not happy now and rehoming the other 2 males isn't an option. I think she would be happiest in a home where she is the only animal. I have a litter box (LitterMaid or regular, your choice) and plenty of food and toys available to go along with her, if needed. I have potty trained children. I work on age appropriate skills and developmental tasks as early as infancy. I limit the amount of tv the child watches (maybe one 20 min. show a day once toddler age and older, usually along the lines of Blue's Clues or something that is interactive as well as educational). I love taking children to parks/on stroller rides or walks weather permitting. I am very nurturing yet firm when it comes to discipline. I do believe children need limits, rules,consistency and routine. They thrive on it! I have worked in child care centers and am able to incorporate daily tasks/routines from that environment into whatever nanny position I have. I work on curriculum type activities, including with infants. I have kept children for overnights, weekends, and even weeks at a time. I have a valid driver's license and very reliable car. I have taken children to activities such as parks, playgrounds, dance classes, gym classes, etc. I am up to date with my CPR/First Aid for infants and children. I am a member of the INA and APN (both are nanny associations). Children find me to be funny at times but also know they need to respect and listen to me. I love making kids laugh and also teaching them new things. I love to watch them do the things I have taught them as well. I would be looking to have taxes taken care of (I have names of payroll agencies families have used in the past to help with this), at least partial health insurance reimbursement,paid sick days, paid vacation, and mileage reimbursement should it be necessary. A gross compensation of at least $13-13.50/hr (for one child,preferably more for 2). I am open to working 3 or 4 full days a week but can also do 5 days--at least 30-40 hours a week but no more than 40 (unless discussed in advance). <![CDATA[The person who owned did contact me and the lady that said she found her, well that was not true. The original owner did not want her nor the person that she was given so she is in my hands now. The first owner stated she was to much energy and second owner stated that her dogs and Coca were not working out together so I promised I would foster her and fine her a loving home and a permanent family. She is solid black and is a very loving dog, excellent with small children and other pets. I have two small grandchildren (toddlers), 2 cats (one just had surgery) and of course a dog. She has done nothing but love everybody. She is laying beside me as I write this. I cannot have her passed off again so I need to make sure that the home that she goes to will love and keep her forever, with the condition that if it does not work out that she comes back to me. She is around 6 months old, has had all puppy shots, need a rabies and booster shot right now. The foster family can do that or I can have it done but there will be a adoption fee for her then. He is all white with black pigmented spots and a brindle patch around his eye. He is short and stout. Probably one of the sweetest pits I've ever met. He is a big baby that wants a lot of love.
