| Nursery Staff Position

The nursery staff position for New Life Community Church is one of great value and importance. The Nursery Staff reports to the Family Pastor and also the Senior Pastor. The following are areas which we value at New Life and require to be carried out in the nursery.
Safety
Our culture is not a very safe place to live, but our nursery will be. Every child matters greatly, which is why we will carry out our safety policies at all times for all children. No unauthorized workers are allowed into the nursery at any time. We must have one adult for every 3-4 children. When we have gone beyond those numbers, the nursery staff must notify the Family Pastor. Nursery staff must use nametags, check-in sheets, and security tags.
Cleanliness
Nursery staff must maintain a clean area. Nursery staff will wash their hands after diapering each child or assisting a child to the bathroom. They must wash and disinfect the changing table after each diaper change. Before leaving the nursery each week, the staff will wash and disinfect any and all toys used by children, empty the trash, and close and lock all windows and doors. Notify any supplies needed or concerns to Family Pastor.
Care
At New Life every child matters, so we expect that we communicate that to each child that comes into our doors and to each parent. A very welcoming environment is included in this. Being on-time is also part of communicating a level of care and is imperative for any kind of job security. We want a level of care that is above average. We want parents to feel a “WOW!” when they use our nursery. We want above normal service to be the norm at New Life.
Compensation
The compensation for work is $15 per hour. Each Sunday, the hours are 10am-12pm, but the employee will be compensated for 2.5 hours. Also, there will be a monthly teacher meeting, which we would require the nursery staff to cover. Further details on teacher’s meetings will be given by the Family Pastor after employment takes place.
The Process
Interested candidates will fill out an application. They will then have an interview with the Family Pastor, then family Pastor and Senior Pastor. At that point, the candidate will go through a full background check. | We are an organization that provides Language and Cultural services to clients worldwide. Teaching English in South Korea offers you the chance to experience another part of the world first-hand, while earning and saving considerable amounts of money. With free travel, you’ll essentially be transported to the other side of the world, where you can live and learn another culture and language. Understanding a different culture will allow you the capacity to better understand your own culture, and ultimately, yourself.
