In each tutoring session, it is about getting homework completed AS WELL as being about learning the skills necessary to retain the information learned. I know how expensive programs like Sylvan can be, and I believe that it should be easier for parents to get tutoring for their children at affordable rates. I am a college student who loves children and is studying nursing. Current Cumulative GPA is 4.0. I do not tutor in my home, I come to you. You must be home for the duration of the tutoring unless you need child care during the tutoring (if you would like to run errands, etc). Minimum session time charged is one hour. $20 an hour- one student at a time. Prices can be negotiated for distance of driving.
