It would be really great if it's the type that you can lean pillows against the headboard to allow sitting up in bed. Her bed is a double bed, but I know that there isn't much difference in the width between a double or full (54") and a queen (60",) and many queen headboards will fit a double bedframe also. Or I can make some adjustments to it to make it fit (adding a block of wood to each side and drilling new holes to attach the bedframe.) I'm willing to clean it up, make it fit, repaint it, refinish real wood, or reupholster fabric if the price is really cheap or free. I have a truck available to me, so I can pick this up for her.
