<![CDATA[Hello musicians, I'm itching to play; my last band just broke up. I've played in covers/tribs/blues/rock bands in town for a while now, since the 80's off and on. Yes that puts me around 40ish but I’m young at heart and mind (I’m confident that I can out-snowboard you). I understand playing within the mix, support the vocals, not crushing them, using dynamics effectively, and to hold back and share the instrumentation space and frequencies. I don’t prefer punk power chords or an Ingwe/Van Halen guitar acrobatics but I do the top forty tune licks just fine for Bon Jovi, Sweet Home Alabama, Journey, Benatar, etc. I can sing backups/harmonies, program MIDI tracks for live, and I write songs on the side.
