This bike was built by the San Diego-based Velo Cult a couple years ago. The Sekai frame is not NJS, but it is very rare and still has the original gold paint. I've done a bit of research on the Sekai brand, but couldn't find much about the company. Here's the bit of information I could find on yellowjersey.org: "Sekai bicycles started in 1973 and ran until their death around 1986. Mr Katsu Yamashita worked tirelessly from his family's firm "Shinwa Trading Company" to ensure the very best quality and arrange all the myriad details of these wonderful bicycles. Frames were built by Yamaguchi Frame in Osaka. Professional Sekai frames, models 4000 and 5000, both road and track, were built by Miki. Assembly was done at Sakai Export, Osaka." It's in amazing shape though for being the original paint though. It also could use new tires and tubes as well. This is a TRACK bike too, not a conversion. So there is no brake, and no drilled holes for a brake either. <![CDATA[Here we go. I am selling my 2009 Look 595 Ultra (size medium) equipped with Sram Red (levers, chain, cranks, rear derailleur) and Sram Force (brake calipers, front derailleur). Other upgrades include Zipp carbon 145 stem, and Zipp carbon Sl bar. Saddle included with sale is a custom white Adamo Peloton. Also, wheels pictured are 2009 HED Stinger 6s that are included with the $4000 purchase price. I have a set of shimano training wheels that I will include for a purchase price of $3000. The ISP (internal seat post) has been cut and fitted for me and I am 5'10 with a 32 inch inseam. This means that whoever buys this bike should sit atop it before purchasing it to make sure it fits. If you are short, you will have to cut it further. If you are really tall (over 6'1'') this probably will not work for you. Best thing to do is take it for a ride which you are welcome to do. As an aside, this bike is a true gem. I love it with all my heart but I no longer need it. I work too much and am eyeballing a Vespa. With the HEDs on the frame it weighs in at 13.5 lbs. The carbon is all lugged and incredibly stiff for sprints and climbs. Can't recommend a better bike for a serious cyclist or someone looking to really step up their game. Call or text with questions.
