The wedding will be held on May 28th at the Falkner Winery in Temecula at 3 in the afternoon, with a reception to follow. Must have own camera equipment, HD preferred, but not necessary, but nothing less that 3CCD. I will provide tapes, microphones, lights and tripod if needed. Looking for footage from pre wedding preparations from the bride and groom, maybe an hours worth. Of course the wedding portion with microphone setup and a little of the reception, probably the entrance of wedding party and a little of the dancing and bouquet toss. No preference on gender, just need to take smooth clean footage. <![CDATA[Hi there, I am directing/shooting a video next weekend ( Feb. 26, 27, 28) out in Joshua Tree/29Palms. I am shooting on a Sony EX-1 HD camera with a monitor. I also have a lighting package with Gels and a small generator. We will also be taking still photographs. I need someone who is technically proficient both with the Camera and Lighting design, specifically how to color things with gels (ie Kenneth Anger, Steven Meisel) We will be shooting at night and so lighting at night would also be a necessary skill. There are some documentary kinds of components and for these I will definitely need help with audio but the part that I really need assistance with is the very stylized and artistic compositions. I can shoot myself but have found it very difficult to not work with a camera/lighting assistant that really can focus on the technical components and my head can partially be focused elsewhere! Ideally I would like to work with someone who is actually into the project (which if interested I will describe in more detail) and not just a "crew" member but someone who considers themselves an artist. I have a next to nothing budget and will drive you out to the desert, get your hotel, and pay for food and could possibly pay a small per-diem. However you will be credited and I have many shoots coming up (with larger budgets). The shoot days are not yet solidified so it is possible that you will not be needed all of the previously listed days.
