She is capable of showering, dressing, walking, cooking, etc on her own. She is not an invallid, She is not in a wheel chair. She was walking a mile or so a day before her fall and is expected to make a full recovery. She is just now recovering from a fall and is finally admitting she needs someone around. The job will entail primarily assisting her in what ever she needs and making sure she does not fall while she walks, shops, etc. You will have your own room and your own bathroom in a very nice 2 bedroom condo with swimming pool in a 55 year old and over community that has buses to drive the occupants to the Drs, grocery, etc. . Her family lives about 2 miles away and will be very active in taking her places and spending time with her so you won't be soley responsible for her entertainment, I imagine that as time goes on, the amount of assistance she needs will increase. We are looking for someone long term. Most likely, you will walk with her in the mornings, make sure she showers, gets dressed for the day ok, and then sometimes spend the day with her and others days she will spend the days with us.
