<li>Ongoing assessment of faculty to insure good teaching practices and a high level of instruction. <br>
<li>Scheduling academic courses. Work closely with Admissions and Registrar and Department Chairs. <br>
<li>Develops new programs and courses in conjunction with other faculty members. Ensures proper implementation <br>
<li>Provides direction and oversight to major academic committees.<br>
<li>Oversees the School's grievance procedures for student and other academic complaints.<br>
<li>Resolution of faculty issues as they arise including absences and replacements<br>
<li>Hiring and interviewing of faculty candidates<br>
<li>Plan and develop faculty development programs. <br>
<li>Review student transcripts to accept or deny admission and studio placement for transfer students. <br>
<li>Ensures clear and measurable student learning outcomes<br>
<li>Guides and oversees the procurement of operating technology, facilities, equipment, and/or materials needed to assure quality instruction. <br>
