Both in great condition - both fit into your sliding glass door track, and your door closes to meet it. Both also come with the inserts to "lock" your pet in or out. The pix below show a dog, but I used both of mine for cats... I lived on the second floor in an apartment complex, and kept their cat food/water and litter box on the patio. <![CDATA[My husband received orders and we are unable to take our two cats with us. They are about 4 years old, male/neutered, and absolute lovers. They are brothers and we have had them since they were kittens. We found them abandoned and decided to raise them and then keep them. I have stopped vaccinating them because they are strictly indoors and some cats can develop a tumor from the vaccines. I did have them recently tested for Felv/FIV and they are both negative. I would love if someone could adopt both of them so they don't have to be separated. I have enough food to last them a couple of months, a cat tree, litter box, cat carriers, and an automatic feeder. They have been around small children and do fine and they have been around dogs. As long as the dogs do not chase them, they get along fine with them. We leave in 3 weeks and I really hope that we can find a good home for them. I have tried a few rescues, but they are full and unable to take them. Please, if you have room in your house, consider these two boys. Tiki is the black cat and Taz is the tabby.]]>

<![CDATA[Hello, my name is Jessica, founder of Lola and Friends Animal Rescue. We are a private, no-kill, cage-free, in-home animals rescue. Dogs and cats are saved as strays, relinquished pets, and pounds from all over Mexico and California. Adoption events are currently being held on a bi-weekly (Sunday) basis thanks to Pet Me, Please! in Normal Heights. The owner, Cindy, and I have decided to look for pet-related vendors to join us for our adoption events in our attempt to make it a mini-fair type event with an inviting, pet-friendly environment for folks looking at all aspects of animal care. We are also searching for food vendors (for people, or dogs!) as well to keep everyone fed and happy! You do not need to attend every bi-weekly adoption event, only those that you choose to attend. We would need to know if you would be attending an event at least 2 weeks in advance for planning. We would like to keep our current event hosts (Pet Me, Please!) from hosting competition for their store. <![CDATA[her forever family! Blondie is a beautiful white & blue American Staffordshire Terrier/American Bulldog mix. She’s about 3 years old, spayed, and weighs 60 pounds. Blondie is house trained (house broken), walks nicely on a leash and will ‘sit’ when asked. She likes to get a tasty treat as a reward, which she takes very gently from your hand. After spending 8 months at a local shelter where she was a volunteer favorite, with time running out for this pretty girl, Blondie was rescued. She is living with her foster family of four dogs (large & small), two cats & a human child, in Carlsbad, and adjusting quickly to life outside of the shelter. Her foster mom says that Blondie is a silly, playfull girl who loves playing tag with her 10 month old foster puppy brother, going for long walks, running (need a jogging partner?), hanging out at coffee shops, chasing stuffed animals, and lazing about in the sun. Blondie loves children of all ages, and enjoys playing keep away with her 14 year old human foster brother :-) She also enjoys hiking at the beach or on trails and would make a terrific hiking buddy. Blondie is so pretty that almost everyone that passes has to stop and say hello, especially when they see her wagging tail and happy smile. It breaks my heart to put her up for adoption since she is such a special pup, but it's just not fair for her to be home alone while I'm so busy all day. They cannot possibly eat it all before it goes bad and even after giving some to our neighbors for their pets I have tons left. It's mostly romaine, there might be another kind in there with it but it looks to be romaine to me. It's all good. Just not for human consumption. It's either been dropped or manhandled. If you'd like it please let me know. I need it picked up ASAP. I have no way to refridgerate it. It would be good for rabbits or guinea pigs, reptiles...probably other things too! <![CDATA[Roger is a Siamese mix, who is a sociable guy! He loves with people come to the cattery to visit, and is the first to greet them! Roger is a perfect gentlemen, never bites or scratches. He loves everybody: children, cats, people. Roger is 7 years old, but looks and acts more like a 3 year old! Roger was brought into the shelter with ear mites, which he has been treated for. He was also given the diagnosis of FAD (Flea Allergy Dermatitis), but as long as he receives his monthly flea treatment (Advantage, Frontline, etc.) he will have no problem with it! The City Council is paying for animal control to throw reports in the trash instead of rescuing animals from inhumane, torturous, and painful living conditions. According to the City's most recent budget report, $152,904 was wasted in 2008-2009 on the Animal Control Division. Only once in almost four years have we seen an animal control truck anywhere other than the police station parking lot or the city fleet lot on Commercial Street, even though their job responsibilities (noted in the budget report) are: "Conduct preventive patrols and respond to calls for service, provide for the care and control of injured, stray, or loose animals, investigate reports of animal abuse or aggression, insure compliance with City ordinances related to the keeping of animals." Come out and raise your voice for the animals! Their screams are routinely ignored. <![CDATA[Olivier has had his share of challenges and this one is the worst. To start with, he ended up in a high kill shelter when someone found him as a totally matted stray-they then dumped him in a yard wih three Mastiffs to "see what would happen" He was then rescued and put in a boarding facility where a kennel worker dropped him and his leg was broken. Too much for one dog to take! All he wants is a caring home where he will be pampered and loved. he is happy to share his home with other dogs or cats he gets along great with everyone. He is beautiful, sweet and playful. He is not blind, deaf, sick or disabled in ANY way. He does not require ANY medicine. What is his problem? He has had a couple of Petit Mal seizures. VERY common in smaller purebred Poodles. For those who do not know, a Petit Mal seizure can be very hard to notice in Olivier's case-his foster Mom who is a VET TECH was not even sure that he had one. We did feel that we needed to disclose this and two adopters then did not even want to see him. This is tragic. There is no reason to believe at this point that his seizures will increase or intensify. OLivier is neutered, up to date on core vaccines and microchipped. adoption fee applies.
