A three minute walk from the trolley and one trolley stop from SDSU, or could be walked on nice days (which is almost always here). Walk to Ralph’s, Starbucks, a good New York-style deli, and other shopping. Off street parking (two car garage and two car driveway) and plenty of guest parking. TONS of storage – full length closet in the room, closets in the hallways with shelves, and the garage. There is room for all your stuff. We have kitchen stuff, but if you want to bring your own we have room for it, too. There is a balcony off the living room, and a working fireplace (and we have firewood in the garage). The heat works well for those cold nights, and the AC is great in the summer. For the room, it has plenty of space, easily enough for a desk and full size bed - 12’x11’. It includes a dresser for your clothes. Wifi and cable ready – Cox – very reliable and fast. You would be sharing a bathroom with one other guy who keeps the bathroom neat. There is plenty of room for all your toiletries. There is another person in the master bedroom, but he has his own bathroom. The complex includes a pool with Jacuzzi and tennis courts. The neighborhood is very quiet, so you’ll be able to sleep soundly at night or study into the wee hours. There is no smoking or drugs allowed. Sorry, but no pets. This is a nice home and would be a great place to settle down. The complex has a pool and jacuzzi and it's gated. The rent is $475 per month and the security deposit is $475 also. Currently the only bills I have are cable internet, which is about $35 per month and SDG&E which runs about $60-70 per month when there are 3 people living here. I really only have furniture in my own bedroom and a few pieces in the living room so if you are coming from a situation where you have some furniture and need a place to store it, this might be a good location for you. <![CDATA[Hi! My name is Blake and I have one room in my 2 bedroom apartment (it's a big home they turned into a couple apartments) for rent available Oct. 1st. Rent is $1250 so split two ways is $625 each. This also includes electric, gas, and water which is pretty awesome! There is a deposit required by the landlord though which is $425, i know, sucks! About Apartment: It's a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment that was a big house that the landlord turned into a few apartments, evidently it use to be his house or something. Anyways, the room for rent is a decent size, a bit odd shaped but it has a little loft type thing with a latter to go up, it's got room up there to fit a twin sized mattress so you would sleep up there but the ceiling fan is just below that loft type thing and a skylight is right there as well so it can get pretty hot up there if the sun it out but it is absolutely perfect to store any boxes or stuff you might use on an occasional basis. The place has a working fireplace and a kitchen with all the usual stuff but no dish washer. The living room is a good size as well, hardwood floors throughout the apartment and little wagon wheel chandelier type things, yeah, i know, it's definitely different than most apartments around which I kind of like. There is a yard out front that is shared with a few neighbors but I've never had a problem using it if BBQ'ing with friends, etc. There is also a washer/dryer right outside by our side door that is shared with a few neighbors as well but it's usually never difficult to get laundry done, seems each neighbor, when they do laundry do it all day and are done for a week or two so one day it might not be open the whole day but the other day or two it usually is so it's never been an issue for me to use. About me: 26 year old male, born and raised in the area (sunset cliffs area), went to point loma high, lived a few different places here and there but had to come back to San Diego. East Coast sucks and Arizona was just horrible! Why did I even try Arizona!?! I work full time at Henry's on Rosecrans and am going back to school here within the next few months, just waiting on my financial aid to get processed. In my free time my activities vary quite a bit from hanging around watching TV and movies or playing video games to hanging out with friends, going to bars once and a while or doing volunteer work either through my Church or just anything that pops up. I attend the rock church off Rosecrans every week, or try to anyways. I am a pretty laid back guy and at least my friends at work say I'm really funny once I get use to being around them which I guess is a good thing. I don't get angry or mad very often I just brush things off. I do drink, I guess you could say on a regular basis, once a week, sometimes more than once a week but rarely get ridiculously trashed. Preferred roommate: I would prefer someone who is about my age, say under 30 or so and who is a student as well but that is not required of course. Someone who is fairly clean, like, cleans up after themselves, I don't care if you don't wash your dishes right after you cook something, i don't always do that either, just as long as you clean up your mess within a few days is totally chill with me. I don't mind parties going on here as long as they are not huge, like, 20+ people, we don't really have the room for that either, but having some people over, as long as it doesn't spill out into the front yard is cool and I'd prefer not having parties every week but once and a while is cool. House guests is never a problem, have people over anytime I don't really care and overnight guests are fine as well as long as they DON'T MOVE IN! I don't care if they have there own place they are paying for, if they are sleeping over every single night that's considered moved in in my opinion, so let's just try and avoid that. As you can see I've had a bit of an issue with that in the past, haha. So to sum it up, just someone who is chill, cleans up after themselves in a timely fashion (like, a few days or so it cool, you don't have to have the dishes done right away or by the morning, i'm not going to freak over that as I don't always have mine done by the morning either.) and who isn't going to have there girlfriend/boyfriend move into the apartment or have them stay over every single night. So no couples, sorry, oh, forgot to mention, Landlord was pretty stoked on us not having pets when we moved in over a year ago which is why we got the place over the other people who were looking at it. So although my current roommate got a dog anyways recently, he is moving out so whatever. Anyways, this is pretty long, my bad, just hoping to find a decent roommate as I am SO tired of roommate drama, like, if you and your girl/guy are fighting, i really don't care just stop trying to involve me! haha!
