<![CDATA[Ski/snowboard with the Olympians! The Mammoth ski resort is open. Book your winter skiing trips soon while condo dates are still available… <br> <br> We are a block away from the shuttle and just down the street (1/4 mile) from Canyon Lodge ski lift and the Village. Or you can use Dial-a-Ride to take you door to door to the Mammoth ski lifts for $1.50. <br> <br> Our condo sleeps 2 couples comfortably or 6 individuals. Stay at our condo for 3 nights, the week, or longer. Includes a hot tub after a long day’s hike on mountain trails or winter skiing on the slopes. Our condo is a ground floor unit with an upstairs loft. It sleeps 6 with a queen size bed upstairs (with a memory foam mattress cover), a full size hide-a-bed sofa-sleeper downstairs (also with a memory foam mattress cover), a pair of adult size bunk beds also downstairs. There is a full bathroom upstairs, with a quarter bath downstairs, a small kitchen and dining area, fireplace (wood stacked outside the condo), and the complex has parking right in front of our unit. At this time we do not have wireless internet, but we have 2 TV's, one downstairs, one upstairs, both on cable. <br> <br> This premier vacation destination provides a base for plenty of winter adventure activities. Mammoth hosts excellent skiing/snowboarding/cross county skiing/snowmobiling, snow play areas, and snow shoe trails, painting, and photography. <br> <br> Plan your world famous fishing vacation in Mammoth Lakes, the heart of the Eastern Sierras! Minutes from lakes holding 5-10 pound rainbows and browns and surrounded by streams teaming with trout, including the rare golden trout. Fishing season is year-round in some of our premier streams. <br> <br> Winter rates (November 1, 2008 thru April 31st) <br> Sorry, the nights of Dec. 18-31, 2008 are already booked. <br> $130/might midweek <br> $165/night Friday and Saturday <br> $240/night Holidays <br> Three night minimum weekend rental during winter. <br> <br> Spring/Summer/Fall rates (May 1st thru November 10, 2009). <br> ONLY $90/night midweek, <br> $110/night on weekends (Friday and Saturday) <br> Holidays $175/night <br> <br> Plus a $90 cleaning fee and a refundable $300 security deposit. Its' important that guests don't bring too many cars because the town doesn't allow street parking in winter & snow storage can also reduce parking within the complex. We're located at shuttle stop #18 (the red line) which provides a free service every 15 minutes to the Main Lodge also stopping at many stores and The Village on the way. You can easily walk from the unit to several restaurants on Old Mammoth Road including The Stove, Skaadi, Shogun and the Vons market. <br> The interior setup is an inverted floor plan with the living room/dining room, kitchen, master bedroom & one of the bathrooms upstairs. The master bedroom has a king size bed & extra twin mattress in the closet. The living room has an L shaped sofa which does not convert into a bed, but could sleep two in a pinch. These rooms all have vaulted ceilings, wood beams and baseboard heating. The living room has a free standing stove type fireplace and I supply firewood on the deck. There is also a propane (I'll reimburse if the tank runs out) barbecue on the deck. I've installed Internet access in the master bedroom. There's a toboggan and several sleds in the front closet that guests may use. <br> There are three more bedrooms and two bathrooms downstairs. One of these bathrooms has a washing machine and dryer. All four of the bedrooms have TVs and there is also a large TV/stereo in the living room. The downstairs bedrooms and the three bathrooms have heaters in the ceiling. The front bedroom has a queen and twin bed. The middle bedroom has a full and two twins. The back bedroom has a queen bed. Lots of beds for flexibility, but at about 1400 square feet I think we should limit the size of groups to about ten. The maid service supplies linens, towels and bathroom supplies, but larger groups should bring extra towels for the Jacuzzi (don't forget swimsuits). Guests check in at the onsite office at any time after the maid service has been completed, guaranteed by 5 PM with keys left in an envelope in the office for late night arrivals. Guests need to check out around 10 AM or get an OK from me in advance as I may be able to schedule the maid service for the following day. When leaving they are expected to load and start the dishwasher plus take out any excessive trash. Don't make the beds as it might confuse the maid service.<br> This stylishly furnished Condo just says High Sierras. <br> You are also in walking distance from The Village and Canyon Lodge, which makes this an idea location as well. All the bedding is of the best quality so you can relax after a hard days activities.
