Wouldn’t it be a decent business practice to give us a month’s notice so that we might be able to come up with the unexpected extra $675.96 that’s been added to our monthly payment? Most importantly, would it not be decent to have someone that is knowledgeable and/or responsible for crunching these numbers available for us to speak with? The phone number you give for ‘help’ with questions is to the HOPE people who know nothing, can do nothing and can change nothing. Where’s the ‘help’ in that? My question to you is this: Where does the word AFFORDABLE fit in with your home loan modification program??? What kind of ‘affordable’ help has your Modification given me when my original mortgage payment was $3,262.00 a month and your big deal modification monthly payment in only $273.44 less than that? AND in six years your big deal modification is only $90.00 less than my original payment? So my monthly payment now will be $2,988.56 and in 6 years it will be $3,172.28. We have spent almost 8 months on this for you to come up with a mere $273.44 difference? I could skip some groceries, clip a few more coupons and save more money than that! My husband’s gasoline bill driving to work is more than that! If you were able to see $2,312.60 a month for the last 7 months as reasonable, then what is the problem with keeping that figure and adding a few years on to the end of the length of our mortgage? We all are faced with different life scenarios so for me to suggest how one should commit to the community would be presumptuous. But I want the parents, who after a busy day at work or at home, to shuttle their kids to various sporting events; the family who takes the time to eat dinner together; the mother who reads to her child before bed; the young boy who teaches his little sister to sing a holiday carol; to take moment and realize that is their involvement. It isn't a question of your money but your time, even in small increments, that will eventually make a significant impact on our communities. Those of us who have the jobs, time and money to give to organized charities should and should do so with as much energy as possible. If you are unable to, look at home and make a project there that will improve/impact yourself or your family. They pay a high price for the level of excellent printing and employ people to deface the public pay phones on a regular basis!  They must "hit the phones" at least twice a week.  Shouldn't they pay for real  advertising?!  After all they are lawyers! Why not sue them?!  It's costly!  And many of the pay phone companies don't even know it's going on!   The pay phones belong to many different companies, and in time, legal action will be perused! In the mean time, please remove these fliers and throw them away! Why do I, an average person care?  I hate litter, and I want my community to look nice.  These fliers are defacing public/private property, and just look bad.  Another issue for me is that the flier and cards are in Spanish only.  They're saying to me, "I'm defacing your beautiful city, and I don't want your business!".  You're supposed to do things right, especially if you are in business.  It's not right to vandalize public pay phones for your business.  They have a real nerve thinking they can just trash our city for their own gain with no respect for the laws (ironic being a legal company and all) or the beauty and order of San Diego.  This is  VANDALISM & LITTERING.
